I have found my hair stylist in Redlands! Heather is amazing. Whether you're more quiet like me or a talker, she will put you at ease. She will let you relax and be quiet if you want to, but will also engage with you if you want to talk. She took the time to ask about my hair and find out what I wanted. My hair looks beautiful, and it's so soft! I wish she could style my hair everyday. I was blown away by the salon itself. Their shampoo chairs are from Italy, and they are literally the most comfortable shampoo chairs I have ever sat in. I could have been there all day. And it's also a massage chair! Could it be any more pampering? Heather also gives you a great scalp and shoulder massage when you sit down before your shampoo. It was an amazing experience. I felt so relaxed. They also use Dyson hair dryers! They recognize high quality products, and give it to their clients. My life has improved so much with this salon, having just moved here! Six years ago I had to change my appointment with my usual stylist at Julian August and went to Will because he happened to have an opening. Little did I know how lucky I was. I actually felt terrible leaving my stylist, whom I liked a lot, but Will was just the perfect stylist for me. He listens to what I want at any one season, communicates clearly and honestly what will and won't work about the vision I have in my head, and patiently teaches me how to style it. He is among the best in his field, in cutting, color, and styling, and anymore I find that my need to explain new hair cut/style ideas to him is less and less because he knows me (and my hair) so well. Will loves people and his genuine interest in my life, my job, my four kids, has made hair appointments something I look forward to for more than just beautiful hair. We have become good friends over the years, and I'm so happy that he and Heather have opened their own place because now I get to spend time with Heather too, who I've seen is an amazing stylist in her own right. I feel good spending my money at Troux because I know both Will and Heather to be people of integrity, who sincerely want to give the best service for the best value. They are both warm and open and willing to give time and attention, even at times when it may have been inconvenient. They both have a wide variety of interests and a great sense of humor, and there have been times that I've spent my entire color time talking and laughing with them, so that I've almost forgotten that I was there for my hair! I have been more concerned about Troux's closure than any other business during this quarantine time, and I'm not just talking about my roots.
