If it were possible to give 6 stars out of 5, I would! I've dealt with many moving companies over the last 35 years and this was my 1st experience with Troy Humphrey Moving & Storage. ALL other moving companies in Jacksonville turned us away because of the short notice and I was expecting the same when I walked into Troy Humphrey Moving & Storage. Donald Humphrey was manning the front desk when I walked in and explained our situation. WITHOUT hesitation, he said they could help and would do everything possible to meet our timeline. The next day he came out to our home and surveyed our HHG. The following day, I met with David Humphrey to discuss a schedule for the packers/movers. David, like his brother Donald was friendly, professional and willing to do whatever it took to meet our near impossible timeline. After working out a schedule that fit our timeline, we were relieved and developed a new appreciation for a business that will do whatever it takes to help you when no one else would. They packed us, moved us, charged us a VERY fair price, took EXCELLENT care of our HHG and treated us like royalty! I cannot say enough good things about Charles, Jeremy, and Victoria! They showed up, introduced themselves when they walked in, and packed my house so quickly!!! They were respectful and courteous, and very careful with my dishes! They even took time to wrap our fire stick and each remote individually and label "living room" or "bedroom" on them!! This is my first move as a military wife and Charles took time to tell me things about the moving process while he was packing!! They were personable and friendly and paid special attention to make sure everything was wrapped up and would not be broken. Victoria said that they "pack other people's things like they would want their to be packed." They were in and out in 3.5 hours, and the men with the moving truck showed up before the 3 packers even left! They made my first move an incredible experience! I wish I could bring them along for all the moving we will undoubtedly do with the Marine Corps :) 10/10 would recommend this crew and company! read more

They are so nice and are being so sweet with us having a hyper toddler who wants to know what everyone is doing at all times ! Charles, his wife Victoria, and Jeremy were so courteous, efficient, and hard working. They went above and beyond to make sure our valuable items were packed right and asked about certain items to make sure we wanted them packed a certain way. They even went the extra mile to leave our bed and TVs up and will send out crew members on the day of pick up to pack that so we can have our bed and tv for the weekend until we officially move. We decided that 70 yrs old is to old to move ourselves,and since my husband is a disabled Veteran, we couldn't do it ourselves. I called and they set up pickup and delivery for the day after Thanksgiving! The 3 young men that came were wonderful!! They wrapped things, and everything was delivered in perfect condition! These men have went above and beyond. We are a military family transitioning and that in itself is uncomfortable and scary enough. I want to make sure that they are recognized not only for their superior job moving and unloading our belongings but how friendly and comfortable they made us feel.
