She was able to switch my rooms for me and she provided all the information I needed for breakfast and all the things everything with the hotel was great, but I did not give them a five star because the hotel smells like pets. We have had a pleasant stay here. Stopped at this hotel to get some rest after a very long drive. We got in close to midnight and the front desk employee, Alesia(not sure I'm spelling that correctly) was so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There's a fridge and plenty of hooks on the walls, and places for bags and suitcases. The hand wash and body wash smell amazing and didn't dry out my skin. We got up for breakfast and the breakfast area was clean and put together well. Everything was stocked and fresh. Then afterwards I worked from the lobby for a couple hours which is certainly spacious and comfortable. Plenty of outlets, secluded areas for private calls/work, and a lot of natural light. We stayed in the lobby long enough to witness the cleanup after breakfast. The cleaning was immaculate. The young lady wiped down EVERYTHING. I saw other employees wiping down the all tables and the complimentary beverage stations. I'd definitely stay here again! read more

I am never going to stay at a Tru by Hilton ever again. For starters, when we walked in the room, it looked empty. It looked like IKEA, just with hardly any furniture. There's no closet, coffee maker, microwave, table or proper work desk. The only work desk is in the front office, which is in the lobby, surrounded by loud kids and teenagers playing pool or other stuff. There were also brown stains on the wall near the toilet (which were probably feces). The snacks were pretty expensive, 3.75 for a box of skittles and 2 dollars for a single Hersheys chocolate bar is crazy. The internet also did not work, so I had to result to using my personal hotspot. I am not going to come to a Tru hotel every again. If there are any other options for a hotel around, go there and save yourself from this mess. read more

A interesting different hip concept that reminds me of iloft a bit. Lots of bright colors, interesting eclectic items, a neat and good selection of snacks and drinks, and an ok morning breakfast. Best of all the place is clean! From the moment you walk in it is just a different feel. A foosball table, a pool table, swing chairs, and bring colors. It is cheery and nice... as are the counter staff. My room was perfect... a great bed, a good tv, all clean and set up well. Lots of outlets around! I didn't have to search for them or move things to get to them... they were very accessible! The price was perfect... affordable... what a nice change from the expensive types that don't have as much or aren't as nice... a very refreshing change. This is my first stay in a Tru by Hilton and I have to say that I'm very impressed. It is connected to Home 2 Suites by Hilton so when you check in, they ask which one you are checking in to. As soon as you walk in, everything looks new, bright, clean, and contemporary. It really does have that "new hotel smell." The check-in desk is at the little cafe as soon as you walk in. The staff was very friendly and they give you a bag with bottled water and a cookie to greet you and you can grab an apple to snack on. The hotel has everything that you need including a nice size workout facility, 24 hour laundry facility, and lil, private, cubbies to get some work done. The rooms are bright and modern. I got a room with a king bed. It had a big 55 inch TV (I think) on a sleek, long "wood" and metal table mounted to the wall. There are two side tables. One is mounted to the wall and another is a cute, red stool. The bed was comfortable as hell with those nice soft pillows that you just want to cuddle with. There were places to hang your clothes, no closet, but still places to hang your clothes on like a metal rod. And there's a little refrigerator. No microwave, though. The shower is a nice size and appointed with squeeze bottles body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The body wash is lemon and sugar and it smells amazing. They also have body lotion and hand wash that are both lemon and sugar and they both smell wonderful. I would definitely stay at a Tru by Hilton again! read more

This was our second time staying at this hotel. I don't know how long it has been open, but it definitely has the "brand new" feel. Great value for the $ -- nice rooms, big bathroom, and a terrific free breakfast (loved the pancake machine) -- with a spotless breakfast area. But the biggest shoutout goes to Zarriyah in reception -- I needed quarters to do laundry, and the front desk didn't have an open cashbox, so Zarriyah went into her own purse to get enough change for me. That's going above & beyond -- 5 stars to her! [P.S. to management -- if you're going to have laundry that only takes quarters, and your hotel isn't near any stores, you might want to make it easier for guests to get change!] read more

Nothing very spectacular but it's safe, clean and was located close to the Medical Center and the Avenue. I'd pass on the breakfast and just eat else where. I would not recommend. I am in Murfreesboro TN for work and stayed for 5 nights at a Tru Hilton for the first time. I feel they should have named it the IKEA Hilton. The rooms do not have a dresser, coffee maker or closet. The rooms are very tight after filling it with a king size bed (the plus in the room). The staff is friendly but somewhat young so they are far more interested in talking to one another than being observant to guests. I had to alert them twice that their coffee was empty in the lobby during breakfast. read more

The cleanest hotel room I have ever been in. Every hotel should strive to be this clean. The woman was so sincere when we checked in 8/24/22 in the late night. Even when she had issues with the system remained positive. The lounge area is very nice and this place wasn't much more expensive than some motels. The room was spotless. Having hard floor instead of carpet and non plush furniture in the room also gives the room a slick, clean aesthetic. You'd think they're paying me to say this but they're not. We stopped on my way to Florida from Illinois after having dinner in Nashville. The fitness center was small but had an assortment of dumbbells- most places just have a treadmill. I will definitely come here again when traveling through. Whoever is cleaning this place is doing a great job. read more

If you are a business traveler and are looking for hotel recommendations in the area, please please do yourself a favor and skip this place. Trust me, you will thank me. I ended up staying here because nothing else had availability within a 30 mile radius of my client, so had to choose this one over the option of sleeping on the street. The good: it's modern and energetic (assuming you are OK with that), there are shelves in the bathroom to make up for the infamous lack of counter space in any hotel bathroom, there is a lobby with plenty of snacks. I also like the fact that the bathrooms have dispensers for soap and shampoo/conditioner. I always thought that the small sizes they put in the rooms generated so much waste. I realize that many folks may not actually like this, however. Everything else: this place is totally geared toward kids - those young enough to have to be staying here with parents. Where do I even begin... 1 - There are NO DESKS in the rooms. As I write this, I am attempting to also do work, curled up in my bed. Not ideal for a business traveler who inevitably has work to get done. If you require a desk, you are forced to work at a "workstation" in the middle of the lobby with a ton of noise, which brings me to my next point... 2 - Because this place caters to kids (and I'm not talking millennial kids - I am talking 10-13 year old kids), of which there are drones running around here screaming and being incredibly noisy. The front desk will be receiving a call soon to address this. 3 - Speaking of the front desk. The girls (who were not likely more than 18-20 years old themselves) working the front desk have no business being in hospitality and are in need of some serious training. They are utterly clueless and offer no assistance and truly have no regard for business traveler (or any halfway savvy traveler) needs and were less than helpful when I asked about nearby restaurants. When I asked about getting a bowl to put some cereal in for my dinner (I don't have a car and they told me nothing was within easy walking distance...and it's semi late, and dark and I don't want to be naive about safety), all they responded with was "oh, it looks like there are just plates there". So not helpful and so not what I would expect from ANY hotel. 4 - Lastly - THE ROOMS SMELL OF OLD CIGARETTE SMOKE. I think that they remodeled this hotel from another one that used to be here; this isn't a brand new building. I am *very* sensitive to smoke and was able to smell it immediately upon entering my room. While it is not a heavy smell, for anyone who can pick this scent up, you will. Cigarette smoke is the most off-putting thing in the world to me. If you are a family and want to keep your kids entertained here, have at it. I stayed here for a few days while visiting Nashville and the hotel was not what I've come to expect from a Hilton property. For starters, the hotel was in need of a cleaning any many things were broken. In the elevator lobby, wallpaper was coming off of the wall in the corners. The carpet in the elevator was filthy! And in our guest room there were feces stains on the wall where the toilet paper dispenser (might I add the dispenser was so loose it was about to come out of the wall)! Disgusting! The rooms were lacking function. My husband described this as "an IKEA nightmare." There was no dresser, no closet, and no desk. There was a rolling chair with an armrest that I guess is supposed to be a workspace- not functional at all. Even though we rented a king room for two registered guests, we were given only two full size bath towels and three pillows. Breakfast was free but what a joke. On day 1 at 8:30, they were out of the hot breakfast items and regular coffee. I waited for ten minutes before the coffee was replenished and the egg scramble was never refilled. On day two, surprise- out of hot breakfast again at only 7:30 am! Seriously? We booked here because we thought it would be new, clean, and modern but this place gives minimalist a new meaning. If you like to eat breakfast and don't like poop stains on your bathroom wall, take my advice and stay some place else. read more

Cute hotel, love the lobby set-up which is spacious should you need to work or hold a casual business meeting down there. Rooms are also spacious and clean. Love that the rooms don't have carpeting and the scent in the room is amazing which is throughout the hotel. Bathroom includes wall mounted body wash, lotion etc...that doesn't smell like your standard hotel brands, I think one is a lemon zest and the lotion is cinnamon. My only issue was that the wash cloths were dirty. One looked as if it had makeup maybe mascara stains and the other had some sort of residue. The front desk employee was very friendly, I'm sure if I would've called down to inform him, it would've been quickly replaced. Will stay again. read more

I booked this because of Hilton, which I stay most of the time, rate, and locale to where I needed to be for my call. Other than the rate, which was good, I will not do this again. This is not the place for a business traveler, although the rooms are clean. People can say what they want about the desk that rolls around, but it was more like a college dorm, which I have graduated from years ago. If you want to play games, board, pool, ping pong, this is your place for sure. Nothing against Hilton or anyone who wants to stay here, it's just not my thing. read more

*Dog Friendly Slice of Heaven for Me* Hmmm...I had nothing like the experience of the other reviewers. Albeit, I was not traveling for business that night, so I had no need for the typical business amenities. I was traveling with my dog who was battling cancer. I was exhausted and wanted to get a good night's sleep before driving on to Chicago. This was our final road trip before I had to put him down, so this memory is so vivid for me. That said, here is where Tru EARNED every star: 1.The front desk agent was SO kind to both my dog and I. She offered some suggestions on helping him to eat (his face had a huge tumor that made it very difficult). She even provided me with a can of dog food that she kept in her car for her own dog. I was able to mix it in with his dry kibble. He enjoyed every bit of it. 2. The room was SUPER clean. I'm also a Hilton Honors member and have stayed in most of their properties. I'm a stickler for cleanliness, and the room hit the mark. It was like walking into a breath of fresh air for this weary traveler. 3. The bathroom had all of the necessities that I needed to freshen up before bed and before getting on the road. I was so tired that I hadn't even brought my entire suitcase in, so I was thankful to be able to shampoo and condition my hair with citrus goodness :). I was in town for a business trip! They allow me choose the rooms I want to stay in and being a Hilton' rewards member this one caught my eye! It was within a few minutes of my training site and down the road from gas stations, restaurants, and shopping! The morning breakfast was way more than expected and fresh! The employees were friendly and helpful! This was a week long stay and met all my needs! The rooms were comfy, clean and smelled fresh! The only down side was there wasn't a "table" of sorts to eat from but made do! It was nice to be given a treat bag upon check in and 2 bottles of water on the room! So... Maybe I'm crazy or maybe they've just added them since these reviews were written, but... There was a desk in my room. Truly. A rolling desk that was tucked under the little countertop area by the tv. So... I dunno. The hotel was really clean. I like that the rooms are no nonsense. (No dresser, but plenty of hooks on the walls to hang my items. Who puts their clothing in a dresser when going to a hotel unless you're staying a while?) They have large windows that make the room super bright and lovely. I love the larger bathroom, and I love the way the shampoos, lotions, etc. are in large dispensers hanging from the wall. I like to use a ton of conditioner in my hair, so having to ask for extra bottles then trying to squeeze out conditioner from like three of them is always a pain. I loved this new way of doing things! The lobby is bright and there's a pool table if you want to just hang out there. There are little working cubbies that muffle the lobby noise. There are these fun, comfy-looking hanging chairs, and there was a fire going in an outside area where you could relax. The only downside was the people working there. When we arrived, they asked us what floor we wanted and then said, "I don't think you should stay on the fourth floor. The people up there are smoking weed and the whole floor stinks like pot." Really? Maybe go upstairs and tell them to knock it off, or call the police. None of us want to stay on that floor over the next few weeks and smell stinky, old marijuana smoke. The woman manning the breakfast bar the next day (did I mention they have free breakfast? Always a plus) was so busy chatting up the clients about the food, she ignored the fact that they were out of a few things and the tables were dirty. Also, her apron was SO FILTHY. It looked like she'd spilled a container of waffle batter down her front. (Maybe she did, but for goodness sakes, change into a clean apron. It was disgusting.) Oh! And the place is very dog friendly. There were water bowls when you came in and free dog treats. That's always nice. Don't expect a true Hilton hotel experience. It's not full service. Our first impression of our home away from home for a week long vacation was ok. Everything was clean and folks were nice. However we noticed the morning after our first evening that the TV was not working properly and we reported it around 7am (traveling with a toddler and a husband who works remotely means we need all the tech working properly). We got home around 8pm and nothing had been fixed. We called again and were told we had to speak to a manager the NEXT day to get any help. This manager told us that they couldn't swap TV's from other rooms because the dish service was room specific. From what we know of DISH, this is not accurate. She would not and could not replace the broken TV in the bedroom of our 2 room "Premium" Suite and instead swapped the living room TV with the bedroom TV. Still, nothing worked. I called down for a manager on Sat eve and was told there would be no managers on duty until Monday! Are you kidding? Additionally, the premium WiFi we paid for isn't working and there is nobody here who can tell us why. We were given a card with an IT help line. The whole reason we chose this hotel was for the upgraded technology so my husband could work. So now we are stuck here, with a toddler and a husband who needs to work and no TV and no WiFi. And nobody can help us for two more days. Unbelievably poor service. We will be seeking restitution. read more

My goodness. What a wreck of a hotel! Let me just begin by saying, from the moment we walked into this hotel we experienced nothing but problems. I'll set the scene: My mother, who is handicapped, and I walked into the hotel at midnight during a heavy rain fall after we spent the whole day flying from California. We were EXHAUSTED. All we wanted was to crash in our beds and so we'd be ready for fun the next day. However, when we arrived at the front desk we were not greeted by a depressed looking man. Then when my mom was checking in, he proceeded to tell us that we did not have a room! That was not true obviously. My mom is a very organized person, so she had ALL the paper work for this trip including the confirmation of the booked room. We found it strange that my mom and I didn't have a room confirmed when she was the one who booked all of our family members at this hotel for our family reunion. And I had called earlier that day to make sure we could have a shower chair put in our bathroom for my mom for the room we confirmed we already had! So, the man at the front desk had no regard for the fact my mom was handicapped and proceeded to try to make her PAY DOUBLE by reserving a new room when we already had a room. He also said that it would be pointless to call a manger because the manager doesn't like it when his employees call him for help, which I found to be absurd and not true at all. Well after fighting that man by showing proof of our room, we finally made it. It doesn't stop there. When arriving in the room, we were surprised to find that the showers were handicap friendly. However, my mom had been told prior that all the rooms had shower tubs not walk in showers by a lady over the phone, so another lie! The room itself is nice at first glance. But there are no drawers, no closets, no safes, no coffee makers, and no weekend service for cleaning the rooms (you have to request it) and were never told that. Also, breakfast is free from 6am to 9am. When I went downstairs to get breakfast for my mom and aunt I had asked if they had any trays to carry our food back to the room (which they did have trays) and another guy at the desk told me they didn't have any. I only asked to confirm that he would indeed lie to my face. That's another thing, NONE of these employees know anything about hospitality. YOU WORK AT A HOTEL AND HOTELS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HOSPITABLE. The most hospitable people we met at this hotel was the manager (who ended up giving us the first night free for all of our inconveniences) and the hotel maids who were just the absolute sweetest. If the manager Nate knows what is good for this business, he will get rid of the staff members that aren't meant to be working here and hire people who actually care about providing quality service for people. If I could rate this hotel any lower, it would be a negative 5 stars. read more

Stayed at this hotel on Saturday and it is a great millennial hotel with a concept never seen before. It has bright colors, a pool table in the lobby, the rooms are comfy. Only 1 lamp in room but they have 2 bed lights on each side of bed. No closet but the room has a place to hang a few clothes. This is a per friendly hotel with dog bones in a bowl at the front desk. I am not a pet person but my room was clean and didnt smell of pets. The higher the floor the better chance of getting a pet free room. I would stay here again when in the area. read more

So.....there are different hotels for different types of trips and travelers. For our trip, this was the exact type of hotel that we needed. Travelers - 4 total - 2 adults - 2 young teens Trip - Road trip - Returning home to Chicago from Florida So, let me just start by saying that I knew what type of hotel room I was getting when I booked it. I read about the overall concept and reviews and looked at pictures of the hotel rooms and lobby. Exterior: This is a combined hotel, so there are 2 different entrances - one for Tru and one for Home2 Suites. In the front, there are areas to sit and a large fire pit table (They did not have this on as it was raining, however it was on in the morning.) and some games that could be played (outdoor Jenga like game). The hotels do share an outdoor pool, but as it was January, it was closed for the season. Rooms: Are exactly what were shown in the pictures on the hotel site. It is minimalist style. Our room was clean and open. We had 2 queen beds. There was a shelf-like table that ran along one of the walls and there was a small desk and chair that was tucked under. We did not need or utilize the desk or chair. The bathroom was larger and had a shower. I do not have young children - and thus have no need for a tub. I appreciated the size of the shower. I also liked the fact that they had shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers (which had a very pleasant scent) because my daughter and I have pretty long hair, there never seems to be enough in those little bottles. Again, the rooms are more minimalist in design. For my family, this was great. If I am staying a night, I don't need to unpack into a dresser, and as long as there is an area to hang my things (there was) then I also don't need a closet. I get that people might want a couch or a large desk....but this is where the lobby comes into play. Lobby This is the reason that we decided to stay here. After spending a little too much time together in the car, I didn't want my teens to then spend the evening in the room. We wanted to be out around a few more people. The concept of this lobby is more community. In essence, this lobby is to be used by its guests. They have a pool table, games, hanging chairs, a charging desk area, tables with couch like seating and -- important for business travelers -- little noise reducing booths to work at. This is where we spent most of our evening. We picked up dinner and ate in the lobby. They also had a coffee and hot chocolate station. The kids actually sat in the individual work booth areas, drank some hot chocolate and read for a few hours. They also checked out a few of the games. My husband and I grabbed some coffee and did some work at a table. There were plenty of areas to charge devices - under tables, at the booths. Areas for improvement: Because there isn't much in the room and the floors are a hard surface, the room had an echo. The hotel was not busy during our stay so noise was not an issue for us, but I can imagine it might if it was busy. Maybe some noise absorbing tiles could be added? We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. So, in theory 2 - 4 people would be in the room. However, there were only hooks to hang clothing for 3 people. (Though there are hangers and a pipe area to hang additional clothing items.) In addition, in the bathroom there were only hooks for 3 towels. Hilton, in the future, please add in the additional hook. Breakfast started a little late. We were told by the evening crew that breakfast would be ready by 6am....and it was...kinda...but not really. We went down at 6:05 and the oatmeal was not yet ready and the eggs and chicken sausage were not out. In addition, the silverware was not yet fully stocked. Items like the cereals, bagels/toast, and waffles were good to go on time. Everything was up and running about 15 minutes later. This was slightly annoying. However, if I was on a time schedule, this would have been really annoying. Speaking of breakfast, something that confused me was the disposable plates/cups/silverware. This hotel comes across as more "eco friendly" such as the way they have their shampoo/soap and wastebaskets (which are not lined with a plastic bag) but then they throw in this instead of regular plates? Strange. Side note, I did look at the breakfast in the Home2 side which was described to us as more of a "take away". There definitely were less options, and I didn't see any "hot options". But you know what I did see? Real pates, bowls, and silverware. Overall: Now....would I stay here if I were in the area for a week? No. (I would stay at the adjoining hotel Home2 Suites ) If I was traveling for business for a night? Maybe. But, would I return if traveling for other reasons? Yes. Tired and regretting the decision to save money staying at this hotel with the final rate of $106. Imagine millennial college dorm room meets "nice" third-world hotel room. You get what you pay for, which includes a sloppy patched site renovation using cheap materials, such as fake hard wood floors, bare bones in-room amenities and a very stiff bed in a small room. In all fairness, the tv worked well, there's no carpet, you can spend your stay in the lobby playing every board game imaginable and go home with a free shower cap and two hand sanitizer towelettes. Also the bulk "radio now" (anyone understand the brand name here in a hotel environment?) shampoo and soaps smelled good, but I would imagine more product is used/wasted/taken with this unconventional and awkward, but free, bulk soap supply. Hmm ... Interesting. Also, see attached photos of stains and hair on walls. Overall experience has left a lot of be desired and Hilton is missing the mark by trying to deliver a more economical and innovative hotel brand that comes off as cheap! I'm missing my usual pleasant and clean visits to Marriott hotels and will not be voluntarily staying in Tru hotels in the future. On the plus side, if you stay here, you can wake up early to write reviews because you feel like you've slept on your grandmas hard spare room mattress with visible yellow pillow inserts where the pillow cover doesn't cover. I'm giving the Murfreesboro Tru 2 stars because the location is convenient to St. Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro. Other than that, avoid this hotel if you are sensitive to odor. The entire 3rd floor smells like wet dog or old cigarette smoke. The linens are very stale smelling, like they have not been washed in a long time. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The big television is nice, but other than that take your money and stay in one of the better-maintained new hotels near The Avenue. read more

We checked into what I thought was a dorm building. Upon entering the room, we discovered that there was no closet, no dressers for our clothing. However, there were 6" shevels to but our belongings on. We left our room the next morning around 10:30 am, and returned around 8 pm to discover it had not been cleaned! I get Hilton is trying a rebrand something hip and modern maybe to appeal to the more social aspect of hotels stays. I don't know, but I do know the room I got reminded me of a hospital room and smelled very chemically, at this particular hotel they use Pinesol to clean or something similar but it was strong. Everyday ! The whole lobby smells like it. We did change rooms because of the smell and size of the hospital room, and went to the Home2 suites which are really nice and a good size if you are staying more than one night. We stayed three. The first day we got a nice room clean the second room clean was weird. No restocking our coffee. No wiping the counter ( there was a coffee ring in the coffee area ) or fresh complimentary toiletries and the bed was like a child made it. It looked like they got called away in the middle of cleaning. And also that night we returned our keys wouldn't let us into the side door where we parked and it was raining ( I was annoyed ) luckily a custodian came by and let us in. The Tru lobby is colorful and bright like a college dorm common area they have a couple pool tables and sell lots of snacks and an outdoor pool and a small gym. One thing I missed were the warm cookies they do popcorn instead. There are lots of areas to plug in your devices and they allow pets. There is a fire pit outside too. It's nice they have two sides the Tru side is a little too much like a dorm with a common area which people seem to enjoy. It's just not for me. I prefer quiet, calm relaxing environment which you can get on the other side. There are two lobbies. So something for everyone but on my side it costs more to stay. So now you can decide. read more

Smelled like pot on arrival and smelled like pot late that night real bad. I know they advertise this as appealing to younger audiences, but this was ridiculous! Allowing illegal drug use openly in the lobby. The management needs to get a handle on this before it destroys the rep of the hotel. Breakfast was bad. All the food was watery. The cook couldn't keep up with the food and spoke no english. He didn't even know what waffle batter is. The shampoo in the shower comes in a big squeeze bottle on the wall. Yuck! Who want to squeeze a bottle that someone else's filthy hands had touched? Who knows where their dirty hands have been! Unsanitary! Seems like a bunch of irresponsible kids are running this place. Ive been a Hilton honors member for years and this is by far the worst Brand that Hilton offers. read more

My mom and I travel every weekend and always stay in Hilton hotels. We thought we would try the home2suites since this was a newer hotel. We can usually check in an hour or two earlier as a high tiered member but front desk girl said we had to wait until after 3pm because they couldn't get ahold of housekeeping. When we checked in after our event at 10pm we went up to the room and found yellow pillows for the sofa bed with big blood stains on them. We then unfolded the blankets for the sofa bed that also had blood stains and nail polish stains. So glad I brought my own pillow and blanket in the truck. The sheets had pen marks all over it. The bathroom had hairs all over the counter and floor. Breakfast wasn't ready on time for both the days we stayed and was pretty slim pickings. We only had 15 minutes to eat before our event because they were never on time to put out breakfast. Also our room key randomly stopped working and we had to go to the front desk. It's a bunch of teenagers working at the hotel and are unprofessional. Although it's not the hotels fault however the people in the rooms around us were completely obnoxious and loud all night slamming doors. It felt like college dorm rooms. Fairly cheap hotel. Looks appealing but once you get over the different style of it you realize it's basically like IKEA and Best Western had a child. The pillows are not supportive at all and the rooms are very minimalist. The breakfast is 1/2 star out of 5. It's mostly carbs and grossly fake eggs. So either they spent way too much on the childish decore, or breakfast is no longer the most important meal of the day and I didn't get the memo. read more

Not what I expected from a Hilton property. Room is decent and seems clean, but feels like I'm in a dorm room. The worst part is there is no coffee maker - which is a deal breaker for me. Also, it seems they encourage pets (dog bowls at front desk). Some people may love this, but it's not for me after experiencing a flea infested hotel room before. read more

So my experience started off with being charged a $25 (supposedly) refundable fee in case I break anything in the room. I have to say I am a Diamond for Life member and have stayed in hundreds of Hilton hotels and never had this happen to me. I personally found it insulting and have to wonder what type of clientele they get that they have to charge a $25 fee up front in case you break something. The was my first visit to a Tru hotel and was very disappointed when I got to my room. To call the room spartan is being kind. There was only one chair and the lighting options left the room fairly dark all the time. in addition, the room was so empty that it echoed all the time. The floors are not carpeted which means cold feet when walking around the room. The lack of tables left me looking for places to put my belongings. The end table by the bed was a very small round table that was not large enough to hold items I need at night. In all the room is cold and uninviting. When I came back from dinner, I asked the evening staff for a late check out. They were both in the lounge area looking at their phones and told me I would have to bring that up with the morning staff. They didn't even bother to look up my reservation or make nay attempt to solve my question. As soon as I left they went back to looking at their phones. Very poor customer service. As mentioned in other reviews, the work spaces are poor and badly designed. I am starting to get a back ache from the chair as I had to work from my room this morning. Overall there are many better hotels than this one and I would recommend choosing any other one than this one. This is a poor concept executed badly. read more
