It was ideal and we were pleasantly surprised by the space and layout. However, cleanliness is an issue at this hotel. Very noticeable problem areas like vacuuming, trash from previous guests, and stains. I always travel with Clorox wipes and Lysol, but in this instance I'm really happy we did. I did share this with the front desk and there was no response. We had to go down and request clean towels for the next day. We ate breakfast in the lobby. The hostess was pleasant and helpful but unless you're in a rush, Austin has some really great breakfast options for the same costs nearby. If in the area, I'd be willing to try this location again. Parking done via QR code, 7 -8$ per night in a garage linked to the hotel.

It is a trendy modern hotel, that seems designed for a single business traveler. The room is small and compact with almost no free space to speak of. The biggest issue I have is there is no room to stretch and relax and NO comfortable seating to sit and unwind. The only seating is a curved banquette and small table that is supremely uncomfortable. We were in town for a memorial, and this was picked as a good central location to everyone coming in. I should have researched and found a more appropriate property. Again, my rating is nothing against the hotel, it was just not the style of hotel I prefer.

The first room we were assigned had a broken A/C, so we had to switch rooms. The second room was better, but the door lock kept sticking and the TV remote didn't work. The hotel photographs well, but once you're in the room, the construction quality is hard to ignore. Much of the cabinetry was misaligned, and overall the finishes felt inexpensive. On the positive side, the front desk staff was genuinely kind and helpful, breakfast was perfectly fine, and there was plenty of easy parking. I hope they address some of these quality issues because the property itself has a lot of potential.

Recently stayed at the Hilton after moving as I needed internet for my job…read more From start to finish my stay was overall okay until the end when their disgruntled employee decided she wanted to start arguing with paying customers about breakfast. She even decided to call the laws over $5 worth of eggs. She also incorrectly labeled my boyfriend and myself as "homeless" despite me having stayed in room 525 the past two days prior lol The police told me they were embarrassed she did that so while it was a bit of an inconvenience, I did get a little chuckle with the officers outside about how unhinged the younger generation is. The hotel itself was well maintained. I had some nosey hotel neighbors but the front desk guy who was there overnight was helpful and got that situation taken care of rather quickly. It seemed like several people were calling to complain. The Saturday morning front desk store is what ruined the experience and I wouldn't recommend. Way too hotels in the vicinity to ever return here.

We chose this HI as we're Hilton members and it's about a block from the train depot - see pick from our room. This is a newer HI. How do I know - the shades and curtains are electric - just a push of a switch and up they go. Room was very comfy. A/C cold. Bed comfy - slept like a baby. We need a handicapped accessible room as my wife is on crutches for a recent surgery and the bathroom was well equipped. A complimentary breakfast buffet that's is standard was nice but they also have a bar, yep, a wine n beer bar. 5-10pm I think. Oh the charge it to my room. Lots of restaurants in the area. And real close to the train depot. Certainly a nice place to stay.

The room was comfy and a good size, we were only there one night not sure how cleaning works or service of new towels and replacements. They had a kitchen and bar that opened at 5 pm as as we came right after work we had not eaten so we went there first. The lady running the bar and taking the orders was by herself and was very good and friendly but leaving her alone seemed kind of bad on the part of the company. We got the happy hour old fashioned which was a good price but not very good. We tried it, we are always looking for different old fashions and some are great and others a miss. The food was surprisingly good for a hotel. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Shana got dumplings and a salad. It didn't take to long though there were more people ordering by this time and it sounds like just one guy cooking. We slept well, the room was fine, the shower takes a while to heat up. SHANA SAYS: Good Service, very clean and well appointed but weird old carpet. Now Breakfast: We had breakfast the next day. They had a "buffet" for $13 dollars. This was awful, no one took it, and it was just sad. It had some fruit, juices in open carafes on the counter, some cereal, coffee, and oatmeal. 50% of it is butter, syrup, honey, etc. There is nothing there, it is insane. You can order breakfast and again one server and no one took the buffet. I had eggs, bacon and sausage. The bacon was crunchy and good, sausage was solid. The eggs were ok. Shana had French Toast and mostly enjoyed it, good for hotel French Toast. Our server here was good but strangely nervous and when I got my Dr. Pepper he wanted to know if it was alright as sometimes it is flat which seems to be a well known problem they don't fix. Shana used the gym, said it was good for a smaller hotel, had lots of different equipment but the treadmill was wobbly. It was fine for what we needed it for and was close to home. Given that it was close and for an emergency not sure would we stay here again unless a similar issue happened. It is not bad but the promised breakfast buffet really soured it.

We found our room to be clean, spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like a bedside table with light and charger next to each side of the bed, not just the inside of each bed. This is often not the case in other hotels. The rooms seemed well planned, with a sleeper sofa, a good sized and fully-stocked kitchenette, a ton of storage to accommodate every traveler in the room, and a regular desk area with a separate portable rolling desk, which could easily accommodate two people working in the room at the same time. The bathroom was bright and spacious with a walk-in shower instead of a tub, which would be easy for elderly travelers to use. (Grab bar and non-slippery surfaces as well.) There was coffee and tea available 24/7 in the spacious lobby, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and very responsive to questions/requests. Our room was on the ground level and probably should have some type of translucent shade for privacy from the parking lot (other than just a room darkening shade,) but this is a small constructive criticism as it is hard to complain when everything else was so far beyond our expectations! Our family of four absolutely loved this hotel and we will definitely stay again when back in the area!

She even jumped right into action when the front doors were not closing and the cold air coming through with this winter storm to try and correct the problem. Now that's a GM! She didn't call maintenance; she's hands on. All staff working hard and friendly. Room is a Home2 very clean. A must stay place for sure to stay!

I used the gym a few times and it's perfectly sufficient for my basic exercise needs. Most of the guests are men, with a few women and families. This place is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. They also let you extend your stay by another week on your last day, which gives a lot of flexibility.

Well 35min past of still waiting for service until finally I see a lady coming but from the same Gas station/McDonald's I mentioned earlier. Just thought it was odd. Now my only other issue is that an employee tried to enter my room not once but twice. If it hadn't been for the extra lock I had on she would have been successful. I could not confront her because I had just literally gotten out the shower. Overall the hotel itself is nice I just think the staff needs a little bit more training. They were very nice but my experience with the service wasn't the best
