They were widely available and their headquarters are in California. I contacted them to see if they had a preferred vendor to do the installation. This is how I found Triple Queen. I did my due diligence and got estimates from a couple of other plumbers closer to my location but I figured if the manufacturer is suggesting a vendor I should take that recommendation seriously. I spoke to Victoria about the job. I liked that she was very upfront about them not being the cheapest because the quality of the installation is their number one priority. Plus, they were located quite far from where I am but they were willing to take the job. So I went with them. The installation experience was great. Adan and his crew were on time, professional and polite! If you look at the pics of his other installs they look like works of art! You can tell he takes pride in his work. He was even able to remove some redundant piping which made the install look even better. After everything was done he stayed for another hour to do the setup. The system has been running great! He replaced two light fixtures in my kitchen and they are hanging down from the ceiling, not flush with the ceiling like they are supposed to be. He said he would fix them when he came back to repair the damage in #3, which he never did. 2. He replaced my outdoor light fixture and it was crooked. However, he did fix it when he returned to repair other damage that he had caused (see #4). 3. He upgraded my porcelain sink to a stainless steel sink and, in the process, cracked 5 tiles that he said he would come back and fix. It took me having to hunt him down for two months for him to finally tell me that my particular tiles had been discontinued and I would have to replace my countertops (at my own expense, I figure, because when I told him that he had the obligation to pay for the replacement countertops, he did not text me back). 4. After he replaced the sink, when I used my dishwasher, it flooded underneath the sink and caused tons of water damage. He came a few days later to "fix it," but the same thing happened again and he insisted to me that it was not the result of his work (that the tubes were clogged). He also told me that he would repair the water damage, but his solution was that he would "paint over it," not replace the damaged wood. When I started researching him, I saw that he was on Thumbtack and had several good reviews, but also a few really bad ones (with stories quite similar to mine). When I went to leave him a review on Thumbtack, it would not let me. When I called customer service, they told me that their policy was that I could not leave a review unless I had hired him through the app., which I had not. I went back and forth with them - explaining that I paid him $1500 only to have all this damage done to my home and even sent them 8 pictures of the damage. They still would not let me leave a review. The customer service representative told me that she had just been talking to Ismael about a complaint that they had received about him from another customer. But she also told me that they were going to let him stay on the app! 5. When I hired another repairman to fix my dishwasher, he was appalled by the "Mickey Mouse" job (his words) that had been done to connect the dishwasher tubes after the sink installation. Ismael would only communicate with me if I texted him first, even though he was supposed to be working on finding tiles so that he could replace the ones he cracked. He would never give me updates like a professional should do; I always had to hunt him down for updates. As another customer states, he would say he would come to fix the issues, but then when I gave him my schedule, he would not text me back. If you look at his responses to his customer complaints on Thumbtack, he blames the customers rather than taking responsibility for the issues that he caused himself. He did the same to me, telling me that he was going to fix my dishwasher, but "unfortunately I went and hired another contractor" to do it (after I had let him try to fix it and he could not.
