I called these guys out for an estimate a few weeks ago for what what I considered 'minor' repairs at my house also considering I had all the parts needed. The estimate was ridiculously high, which was dissapointing because I used to use their services previously in the past. Plumbers like barbers nowadays are pricing themselves out of jobs. I called another company and got the work completed for a fraction of the cost and I spent more time talking with the plumber after the work was completed than the time it took for my repairs to be completed. Apparently COVID and the sick economy had a serious impact on this Company. Their association with American Home Shield (AHS) needs to be terminated. I called AHS to have 5 leaking faucets repaired. The first thing they did was to test the water pressure regulator. They said it needed to be replaced and AHS service request wouldn't cover the work--- and since they would have to "reroute the piping" ADT would not cover that repair and I would have to pay $700 for them to do the regulator. They also told AHS that the regulator caused "secondary damage" to all my faucets. AHS told me that "secondary damage" is not covered by my AHS contract and I would have to pay for the repair of all 5 faucets. Needless to I have DUMPED The Plumber AND AHS !!!!! Please disregard my previous reviews of this contractor from over 2 years ago. Times have changed. read more

The company came out less than a week ago & the toilet is flooded again. Allegedly, the plumber pulled out wipes, which is weird because no wipes are used in the home. This is a way to "void" the warranty. I spent $306 out of pocket. They're starting to come out again, another $306. Instead of pulling the toilet & clearing the drain, they went in the roof & didn't clear out the drain thoroughly. I find this weird & I feel scammed out of my hard-earned money. The company stated we can put a camera in the drain complementary to have a better look, but you're still on the hook to unclog the drain. Poor service from these scammers DONT USE! Here are wipes that have been sitting in the line for Lord knows how long. The owner said they look recently used! Which is FALSE! Screw this scamming ass company & their worker Mark who half-assed, cleaned my line. Laziness at its BEST. CLEARLY this scammer doesn't know what OLD wipes look like. Smh new wipes wouldn't be shredding easily. They would still be new, these are so brown & old we don't use wipes so obviously they've been sitting in this line. Geez! I should have done my research first with all these dissatisfied customer reviews! Like many others my wife and I fell for the old HACK JACK bait and switch. There was a tiny spray bottle that fell into the toilet and it got clogged. The tech comes downstairs (great actor) breathing hard oh I couldn't get what was stuck so we have escalated and take pull the commode out of the floor. So just right there we go from $225.00 to $329.00. Then 30 minutes later, the tech says his boss the HACK JACK says since the house wasn't built in the way that satisfies their protocol, they'll have to do it entirely different for $700!!!!!! The old HACK JACK strikes again!!! Mind you we been here 18 years and our toilets work just fine. The insurance company should have known that the circus clown old HACK JACK is a rip off artist especially with all of the negative reviews he has on Yelp. It says in the bio he's been doing this since 2003. Really? I know he will respond and try to smooth things out to make this situation look good in his favor, I've read his replies to other disgruntled customers and let me tell you, the old HACK JACK is a professional. He knows how to flip the script with fancy jargon and plumbing vocabulary to make himself sound smart and the customer stupid. At the end of the day, we're not going to be overcharged so in the meantime while our toilet doesn't work we will find someone through our insurance company who's more reasonable. These two individuals were very professional and skilled identifying the problem, which they corrected expeditiously. They told me my carpet had been saturated with water and that there is the possibility the water had affected the walls inside of my home. The carpet will have to be replaced. I've used these Plumber services at least twice before in the past and I've always been quite satisfied with their work. I recently set up an appointment with The Plumber and he was able to come to fix my dripping shower last week on Wednesday morning. However, he and his apprentice did not have the correct part they needed, so it had to be ordered. Once it was ordered, they were able to come to my house immediately to fix my dripping shower. Our Plumber, Josh, was really sweet and he realized that he still did not have the exact (correct) part for my shower. He made two trips to Home Depot and Lowe's just to find the right piece of equipment he was looking for to complete the job. Minus one star because I feel like they overcharge. I received a similar quote for almost half of what The Plumber charge. They sent Brad out to do the install and craftsmanship, attention to detail ,and overall service was the BEST! Ask for Brad that guy is quick and the finished result is flawless. I now know that was a wrong answer, because the toilet he brought was tiny made of plastic in top, so I can't sit on top of the toilet when I'm bathing my son. I cannot say enough negative things about this company. We have been having plumbing issues for months now and for some reason my home warranty only sends out this company. After spending thousands of dollars, I called my warranty company and told them I still have cold water and I am not confident the several plumbers (Jim and someone else) knew what they were doing. They agreed to send a different company this time but something told me to call my gas company. A technician from SoCal gas came and assessed my water heater and said who ever has been servicing it did a horrible job. For one, they tried to bypass the energy safety switch and by doing that, my water heater has not only been leaking gas but if the heater was to have gotten to hot it was bound to explode. Each time someone came out they were in a rush to leave. Never turning the water heater back on forcing us to go to the garage and do it ourselves. Telling us they had to come back with certain parts and not coming leaving us to call the office to follow up. These high ratings must be from employees and their family/friends. They not only provided pisspoor customer service but someone could have gotten seriously hurt. I will find a way to report this company! read more
