Condescending, won't let you finish a sentence, acts bothered by you asking a question. Just absolutely the worst experience I've ever had dealing with anyone. Talked down to me, like I'm an idiot. Still having pest problems, and she didn't even know what kind of pests, just said they would respray and that rain rendered the spray ineffective. That's weird, didn't know it rained in my home and attic. Never once saw a dead bug, never once saw a reduction in numbers. Nothing. Asked if they could use other methods, she cut me off and said we'll spray again. Then before I can say anything else she's rushing me off the phone. I have a friend who has a pest control company, called him up, he asked what was done and what my target infestations were. He literally laughed when I told him. He asked if they did anything but spray, and when I said no, he said that's why you find a professional that knows their profession, not someone who got a license and doesn't. He's coming all the way from Kansas in 3 weeks to eradicate my issue.

Our first appointment was prompt and the man who came out to spray was professional and thorough. A couple weeks after our house spray- we noticed ants coming out in our master bathroom and had never seen so many of them in our home. My husband gave a call back and they came out to do a respray in the areas where the ants had emerged from. Unfortunately, the second spray did not do the trick. About month after our very first spray we noticed even more ants in our master bathroom and our laundry room. When i used to live in Florida, I used to use pest control services and I quite acustomed to have more bugs appear after treatment, but they were usually dead by that point or after a few weeks they would be non-existent. This has not been the case here. When we called back to inform KC Pest Control that we are still seeing the emergence of ants without any difference since the re-spray the woman on the phone informed us that they have a 30 day policy for any re-sprays and past that point we need to pay an additional fee. This was really frustating because we did have a re-spray within that first 30 day window and that re-spray only made things worse after a few weeks. We were not okay with paying again for a treatment that hasn't proven to work for us after paying $200 the first time just over a month ago. All in all, I was disappointed by the level of customer empathy and willingness to help. We since moved to another local company.

I wasn't sure what the vents all around my fireplace were about, the fireplace inspection before I bought the house didn't mention them (or that they were part of the fan system that was broken), and the 2nd guy that came out to fix part of the bricks didn't know what they were about. But when I called Southwest Sweepers the woman who got back to me easily told me that they were vents that helped circulate the warm fireplace air into the house, and Curtis was able to find a new fan to replace my broken one, and install the light switch to turn it on & off. Then he said our circuit box was out of date and is bound to go out anytime and that total would be about $4500. Each estimate included what the previous job was with the new project added on. We did sign up but then I called a family owned business and they came out, replaced the plug and was only $150. So Spark Electric a "shark" among companies. Just be careful you do not get bit.
