Initially, it was difficult to see the damage because of low lighting. I explained my dilemma and said, "wait, I have a picture of the problem." Once I showed him the picture he immediately put his hand up yelling and said, "Lady there's nothing wrong, you're crazy." Blaming the damage on the reflection of my ceiling fan. I was enraged and began yelling as he quickly excited my home. Now, if it isn't the roof that's fine, he was called into MY home to make an assessment, but the disrespect and attitude were unacceptable! Was it the tone of my skin, the fact I'm a woman and no male was present, the fact he's a business owner/contractor and believes he has no accountability for his work or behavior? Well, we will never know! I can assure you there was nothing, absolutely nothing, in my encounter with him that warranted his nasty unprofessional attitude! To close the circle, I have a friend who is a contractor come in and look at the roof, thankfully, it's just shabby work! From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

Roof continued to leak. Gave him over 30 days to return to fix. Wouldn't come back. Said "too busy, have someone else look at it". I did that with a different roofing company. The original repair was done bad. Wrong size gasket with razor blade cuts. Wasn't the right size and did cover the correct areas. Requested a refund of my $200 and was told "NO". The owner Tim is not reasonable and said it was an as-is job which continued to leak after his repair. Leaked with 30 days of 1st and 2nd picture was his repair. 3rd picture is corrected repair. Three other "professional" roofing groups evaluated and the suggestions ranged from tearing down the wall and rebuilding, using caulk along the roof line, and another was rerouting a gutter. All first said "oh yeah, it's just a gutter cleaning" until I showed them that gutters weren't clogged and working just fine. The caulk guy was the most convincing, so I gave it a try - no change whatsoever. I was frustrated and losing hope. Moving on, I looked through Yelp for other roofers. I found one - Doyle, that for some reason stood out. I sent them a message and quickly received back a professional reply, asking when they could come out to evaluate. After some quick texts we set up a date. Afterwards I thought I should get more than one quote, so I used the Yelp "call for help" that sends out the request to (it seems) everyone in the world. [I will never use the Yelp random call for help thing again. I was text and phone bombed for three weeks after that. Not an exaggeration. Calls came in from all over the country - Texas, New York, Florida, Tennessee and more. I kept blocking numbers until it stopped - what a miserable experience! Even when I posted a public complaint one company just accelerated the calls and texts.] This is the first area Doyle stood out - that one initial contact via text (my preference) and some back and forth setting up the appointment. All done quickly and without being harassed. The polite professionalism and quick response put me right at ease. The owner, Sean, came onsite (on time and with text updates) and brought Tom, who did the evaluation. Tom was great - he explained in great detail the potential causes for the leak could be and pointed to an area where two sides came together. He said that a problem there was the most likely cause. He went up and looked around asked if I wanted to come up and see firsthand. I did and was blown away. He pointed to an area that clearly was suspect. The others had talked about everything but this area as the issue. Sean and Tom explained how they operate and what to expect (in clear detail). I had a few other requests unrelated to the leak and it was a quick "no problem, we can do that" and gave me a very reasonable price/estimate for it all on the spot. We arranged a convenient date. Sean send a contract electronically and I was able to sign remotely. Tom and another co-worker came on the date and time agreed on (a Sunday) actually a bit earlier than expected and immediately set up. Everything we agreed to was done. Tom kept me updated as to progress. Sean forwarded pictures on of the work that was completed - especially nice since some of the areas are impossible to see without climbing up to steep areas of the roof. Before they left Tom and his co-worker cleaned up everything - there was no mess or follow up I needed to do. All done with no surprises, no extra charges, and no BS. His quote also included an extension on the porch roof, we agreed as there was a small leak in that area. Now down to one man plus himself, it became a hit-n-miss showing up. Then needed more money down which trusting him from work done before. Then he did now show up and the job time expanded. Them damage on the front corner, told us he would open the side wall to the sliding doors. What that meant was removing the three solar boxes, the electric would be disconnected, MOLD issues and we would have to 'move out' which meant finding housing for two families and the way he was there here and there, we would have spent thousands $$$ waiting for him to get done. The actual work in opening the wall to get to the damage area was about less than 10% of the area he quoted, repairs were not done correctly, no inspection by township/county inspectors and created a pathway for rain water inside as steady rain came in one day as we have a video of this. Of course it was a no-show day as when he was here, sat in his truck for most the time, outside on his phone, people visiting. This became one lie after another, wanting full payment for work not done as stated, no signed contract, just upping the price. So no, as this is a short description, he can deal with my Attorney. Myself, I'm the homeowner but he kept dealing with my son until he wanted more money until currently on 1/2/2026 sending me a late notice, for sloppy work, not finishing the work stated and just doesn't get it.
