I had just replaced the batteries less than three months ago. I was directed to Precision Automotive by Accurate Automotive because of the diesel engine. When I brought the truck in Chris listened to my detailed explanation of my problem and decided to first check the condition of both batteries. His employee tested both batteries and both tested at 100%. I then discussed the situation with Chis. He said he would need the truck for two days, and then gave me a detailed explanation of the process that needed to be gone through to find the problem. And told me if I was handy I could do it myself, at least down to finding the circuit causing the problem. Then it would require knowing which parts are on that circuit to find the problem. At this point I did not have the ability to leave the truck for two days and since we were heading back home to Idaho soon, I would have my mechanic there help find the problem. I then tried to pay for the work and information provided but Chris would not allow me to pay him. If your in the Yuma area and information provided the need of service or automotive repairs you should give Precision Automotive, Diesel & Transmission a try. I just knew that was a $1200 bill I did not need. And would probably be a hotel room for an overnight stay. It was 4pm and no one was going to fix it in an hour! Right? I arrived feeling defeated but another woman was sitting there and we started talking and she said no worries they will take care of you. It's the only place she trusted. In fact her son just drove two hours so he could have them tune up his car. Let's just say believe it or not was out of there in 30 mins with a rebuilt alternator for under $300!!! When trying to tell him what i wanted, he continued to walk away to talk to other customers or he would cut me off. So i ended up getting an exhaust setup i didn't like. When going back and telling him, He tried to blame it all on me and got extremely confrontational. When he finally calmed down i told him it was all a misunderstanding (my tactic of deescalation, keep in mind im 20 yrs old n the worker is at least mid 30s) and he kept continuing to try and push the blame on me. Eventually he ended up doing what i wanted and it was all good for about a week. Then i started to hear this random buzzing noise and i went to the person who recently worked on my car. Instead of actually trying to diagnose it or even test drive it to hear the noise, he just instantly went on with these stories that had nothing to do with my problems, trying to relate them to try and sell me more. Well he ended up selling me parts that didn't fix the buzzing (he didn't know what to fix because again, dude never wanted to actually diag the issue. Just wanted me to throw money at things and hope it would fix it.) Anyways i went right back after pulling out the driveway, and he remained professional this time but he still wouldn't ride in the vehicle to identify the sound, and when i couldn't explain it well, He would get annoyed. He ended up giving up after hitting the exhaust with a mallet a couple times. And recommended i took it to a mechanic because "they can actually drive it and diag it". I came here to get things done by pros. I went in with a custom cat back that sounded amazing, but looked like crap (i made it myself with no welding experience!!!). And came out with worse by the pros. I was expecting way better. It looks good, but sounds like crap. Theres something being shook/vibrated causing an aggressive buzzing under load FROM THE NEW EXHAUST. Almost $1000 have gone to these people to make my car sound worse. and when you come back they don't take accountability or act professional. take your vehicle elsewhere not worth the value, stress, money, time, or breath. i don't think the worker is the brightest in the box, nor can he remain professional or treat customers with respect. He even mentioned something about just wishing he would get his kids back. I don't think any of this behavior/language is appropriate in a place of business. Especially when all you want is to get something done better. He was even telling me i had to be careful which mechanics i go to when trying to push me off the property because he didn't want to fix the issue he helped cause. Which honestly tells me this is one of the businesses you just shouldn't even look twice at.

He hired some guy to do the job for him. when I got it home it was leaking 20 times worse then before and now my transmission is making a noise I've never heard before. He claims he's fixed the problem and it's my issue now. taking to a reputable shop now to find out what they did to my perfect truck! Would not suggest ever using him again! I took my truck in because scanner at autozone store said my torque…read moreconverter clutch(TCC) was stuck in the off position, torque converter clutch solenoid and possible Transmission Control module were malfunctioning (Code 0741). YAT said brake light sensor was malfunctioning and was replaced and I also opted in for a transmission flush. Did that. Transmission light came on again. Went to Autozone, diagnosed the same problem with the torque converter clutch along with same codes. Took truck back to YAT and they said I needed a new transmission control module that was faulty and they could order one that came preprogrammed in a week and had that installed. Within 12 hours transmission light came on again, went to Autozone and had code (0741) again. The brake light sensor and transmission flush bill with labor was $476. The transmission control module and labor was $395 which is being refunded. I still haven't had my transmission related issues resolved.

I…read morewas pulling a newly purchased used enclosed trailer from Tucson to San Diego, at about Casa Grande to buy fuel I did a walk around and noticed grease all over the rim, placing my hand near the hub it was super hot. I had a burnt wheel bearing. I figured I could make it to Yuma which I did. Of course it was 1:30am and everything was closed I slept in the wallmart parking lot. I was up by 5:00am and I googled trailer repair and found JRs mobile , he had an on call number so I dialed and he picked up. I brought my trailer over at 8:00, they unhooked me and they told me they'd take a look and recommended I go find a restaurant. They text me an hour later , I arrived and they informed me I had caused irreparable damage to the spindle and cracked the hub. I left the trailer there while JRs located the axle, it was located in Riverside so the end of the week I picked it up, the following week I delivered the axle , they had removed the damaged axle so after I arrived they installed the axle and tires back on while I waited. Not only was it a relief to find an honest repair shop but the Owner Rene was an expert mechanic, he has a very well equipped shop that is a statement to his professionalism. Rene is a master diesel mechanic but also services trucks,,autos , semi trailers , basically if it has a motor he's your guy. If you a local JRs is probably well known, if your a late night traveler like me it's a huge relief to find JRs. I highly recommend Rene and his JRS mobile mechanic team big or small jobs !!!

After spending nearly an entire day pulled over on the side of the road and trying to figure out what to do, we eventually had our vehicle towed to Ramco and stayed overnight at a hotel. We truly couldn't have ended up at a better place. From the very beginning, Ramco was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly fair. They took the time to explain everything to us, were completely transparent about our options, and never made us feel pressured or like they were taking advantage of a stressful situation. Because we were traveling and dealing with an unexpected vehicle problem, I wanted to make sure we were getting the right information. I reached out to my brother-in-law, who works for San Diego Police Department (SDPD) and is responsible for the mechanical work on their vehicles. I explained everything Ramco had told us, and he gave me the exact same explanation and diagnosis. I was impressed that they pull the pan and don't try to sell you a flush or power flush or any of that stuff. Didn't try to upsale me on anything and was done quickly. Customer service skills could use a little work but they were not rude in any way just a little bit unwelcoming. That's why 4 instead of 5. All in all though they did an excellent job and I would recommend.
