I just wanna give a special thanks to Flo in the main office I really think he is very underestimated this man made it work when it came to getting me out as soon as things started to look up. My good friend LL was there with me & guess what, they reached out to him bc he still had a big balance owing & they want that $$$. I ended up getting my license at another school at additional costs to me & moved on. LL did the same with me bc he hated the way they treated me. I asked for a refund & was told they would call me back to let me know what they would do & nope ...nothing, zero, nada! No call!!! I had the best experience ever at this school I started on May 15th 2024 and graduated july 12th of 2024 the instructors tought me everything I needed to pass my test at the dmv. It was fair priced "actually cheep, cheaper than any school I looked into" but that doesn't mean you will be in bad hands I loved all of the people there, so much the day after I passed I went back and spent the whole day there. The school is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. You have to get the permit yourself with no help from the school to answer any questions you have. They direct you to the CDL Prep app and say good luck. After the permit, they hand you a packet for your pre-trip inspection and tell you to memorize it. There's no hands on training and will have to ask your fellow students for help for most of the information. Same goes for your in-cab inspection, air-brakes, and skills tests. If you manage you get far enough for an appointment, cross your fingers the school has their paperwork together. My DMV date was pushed repeatedly for 2 months after repeated insurance issues on the truck, out-of-date tags, and the truck breaking down. They're cheap but you get what you pay for. If you really wanna learn to drive a truck, invest in yourself, pay the bit extra if you can, and head somewhere else. read more

They have fantastic packages. Some of the things that the school lacks are Having a bigger location as getting new Trucks. It would be very beneficial if the school had a bigger location with 2 of the Same trucks in the yard and 2 of the Same trucks for skills and driving practices. My son paid a lot of money for his license and endorsements .After he paid he found out he couldn't get some of them because of his age. They wouldn't refund any money, This company is a joke they considered an instructor as sitting you in front of a computer he didn't pay for that. The truck broke down all the time and you wait hours for 15 min drive time . The instructor told the students they need to get there shit together when the instructor was to busy on his personal phone to pay attention. Also stated with the prices of gas were high so they stopped driving as much. Other students helped each other out . There was never a multiple of instructors on site. This is for the Salida location. The training and material given was sufficient to learning and the instructors were always around when you had questions. They weren't there to rush you through sections you were not comfortable with. It was always a move at your own pace kind of setting. The office was always quick to respond to anything you needed and were always nice. My only real critique for the school is that they invest money into their "Day cab" school lot truck. I will not recommend this so called school to anyone because it's terrible. You are all on your own, there's only one truck on bunch of people so you need to wait at least 90 minutes to practice your skills only 10 minutes. It's a joke! I'm sorry I paid that money to learn by myself and to wait like a fool there all the time. And trucks are falling apart. It's just ridiculous. I graduated from Truck Nation School after 4 months. I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to get their CDL at an affordable price in a short amount of time. I didn't have any experience in trucking prior to coming here. I was treated very respectfully by all the instructors and given lots of opportunity to learn how to drive a 10 speed. When I started this school I was not informed that in order to get a job with a trucking company I should have atleast 160 hours but since I knew better I payed more did I receive my class A yes the instuctors were very helpfull however the office is a problem I had an hour to go before my long awaited test they called me and say they need the last $500 before I can do my DMV apptment how unprofessional and frustrating I would not recommend this school to any of my friends. read more

this place only gets 2 stars because of George and Fernando they were great instructors but the equipment is falling apart and they tell you when you go to dmv to say everything is not broken or leaking when there are obviously many things wrong with the trucks and the dmv examiner called me out and marked me down on many broken items that i was instructed to say were fine by the school.....also know they only have one truck that gos out on the street and if they have dmv appointments you will not get any drive time they need another truck and and instructor so students can actually get drive time...o yea and have fun with no ac driving a rig in 110 weather it must of got to 125+ in that truck read more
