Beware!!! Sheisters.... in your face extremely aggressive sales tactics to make you buy. Well we were given a shellfish box and it looked fine. We cooked some scallops and they shrunk so much it was ridiculous. I emailed the company and got no reply. We haven't eaten anything else yet. Obviously the scallops are "wet" and that means they are filled with water,cost more,and shrink to nothing when cooked. Not a good deal. read more

This is a one stop shop for all your meat. I was going to write a review after the first steak I had, but it was so good I had to try a few other cuts to know what to recommend. I have never been a fan of a New York strip steak, but I got 3 different varieties from them, and all 3 turned out stellar! The price is really high, even at a discounted rate I ended up paying about $20/lb for some steaks, about the rate I would pay for prime grade at the butcher. The steaks are sub-choice grade, but really well aged and had decent flavor despite the poor marbling. You are paying for the convenience here of having a delivery service without subscription fees and whatnot. Personally, I won't be going back, but I also wouldn't tell anyone off of them if you like having a variety of products delivered and have the extra cash to pay for the service. As for the team doing the delivery, they are super nice, very professional, and generally good to work with. They are sales people, so they are working to make a sale, but I never felt pressured or like I was just a moneybag waiting to be opened. read more

We purchased the big bundle and got a free freezer and bacon. It was important to us to stock up before shortages were wide-spread and we also appreciate the local grown and processed as well as wild-caught meat and seafood. Obviously we haven't tried everything yet, so here's the review so far: flat iron steaks, I expected these might be dry but they were juicy and delicious. The bacon is amazing! Updated**** The sales representative finally came to fix the situation with the freezer burned fish. The side bar on this is that not all of their food is individually sealed so that no air is in the packages. So if you buy and something isn't individually sealed you have to eat it relatively quickly or it will freezer burn. On the other hand I prepared the red snapper after he brought the replacement package. It was very good! We ate it several times this week. Also learned that they do both choice meat and prime meat packages for steaks which is more logical with families and kids. Overall the situation below was handled it just took much longer than I would have liked. The fish is good quality just be sure to eat it quickly if it's not individually wrapped. If you like home delivery this is a good option but keep an eye on the product if you aren't eating it in a super hurry. Hummm... So so food. We bought the fish package and were sold about how long it should last! Well the fish that is individually wrapped are ok. But the ones in the bulk bag...all freezer burned within 60 days. The company says they stand behind it, but they are super shady about handling the customer care. The sales rep that sold us the meat directed me to call the 800 number to handle the issue. They called back and said the rep was supposed to handle it. The rep is super flaky, he calls when he's supposedly at our house but won't ring our doorbell because it's a Ring brand...??? Weird. I feel he did this knowing he wasn't sure if we were home, but didn't want to find out. He left a message saying he'd come by. He never called or texted when he was supposed to be heading to our neighborhood like he promised he would do. Then when I called after he supposedly came, argued that he said he was coming that day. But I explained that he didn't say when and I had to run an errand. He never called to say he was coming or when he would be there. Pretty annoying and crooked if you ask me. Like an intentional blow off of the situation. Then promised to fix the issue before the weekend.. No calls no shows. Nothing! Then messages while I was gone so I asked him to handle it with my husband. He didn't bother to call or message my husband ever. Now I'm waiting to hear back from him again since I've now returned from my trip and this still isn't handled. It's been about a month. Overall this is not worth it. read more

He was so friendly and helpful... we never felt pressured to purchase anything. He was also super accommodating and willing to work around our schedules and come to the house in the evening. We ended up buying the fish and seafood packages. The Ahi tuna was my favorite. They're individually vacuum packed and sushi grade and they were delicious! Also, the lobster tails were bigger than expected and high quality. The shrimp were also good sized and so good .. they were the family favorite. Some of the items are not vacuum packed, so if it's going in the freezer for a while, you should obviously repackage them before doing that. They also offer a 100% guarantee on all their products so if something isn't perfect, they'll make it right. We will definitely be ordering from this company again! Very unhappy with the quality of this meat. We paid $1150 for what is supposed to be 100 pounds. That a lie each box barely has 3 pounds of steak. Even when I go out for streak I've never ordered a 5 oz steak. The T-bone is freeze burn already. And twice I have put a box to thaw in the fridge and have a bloody mess to clean. So the packages aren't sealed. I have pictures of the hamburger which every package is brown on the outside and red inside. Won't buy again! Honest review Got a knock on my door today opened up to a kind man selling some meat witch was a bit unexpected. As a person with epilepsy and don't drive I'm a usual customer of home delivery schw***s company I do have 3 freezers and utilize the home delivery service and stuff them full. I was speaking to Dustin. Yes he was a bit of a pressure salesman however glancing over the menu there were a few things that I was interested in. Most everything is usda choice. The products seem decent I like the individual packages similar the the sch***s home delivery company. I'm not a fan of the large packages of fish! There are about 20 fillets in a bag. This company does state they guarantee for 1 yr against freezer burning however there's no way in the face of the plant to prevent this with a bag full of air and loose fillets in there. I do have a food saver so I will end up repackaging ea and everyone of these and vacuum sealing them to prevent freezer burn. The boxes they sell average $4-500 so for 2 people it will take a bit to run thru them. Here is the deal you buy 2 you get 1 free sooo now you have over $1000 of meat in your freezer for 2 people. I need to repackage for sure. We did try the salmon tonight and it was tasty! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever about the quality of the product as it stands. Now will I purchase again Possibly! What I do see here is this company pride them selfs on large cuts,usda choice, and pressure door to door sales I own my company and we have been in Buisness for 48 years A Pressure salesman is the first thing you want out of your home I'm sure anyone reading this agrees. We bought $750 worth of boxes recently - seafood and chicken. Everything is just fine and it was a good deal. I just have to post reading these comments about "freezer burn." People, this is not their fault, If you buy bulk frozen food and you are not a restaurant that will go through it quickly, you need to get a FoodSaver et al and shrink wrap it. Then it will last a good long time. If a driver told me to do that I'd probably be offended - duh! Been buying "family packs" in the supermarket for years and I shrink wrap it after a light freezing so the juices don't squeeze out. read more
