The team at Hero Pests Control was quick to respond and they came out to inspect our property within a few days. The mice activity they found was much more extensive than we thought, extending into the attic and garage. They also found evidence of woodpecker activity in a few exterior spots, which was not previously evident to us. They provided a reasonable quote and started work within a few days. So far, they've cleaned all of the impacted areas, sealed entry points, installed ultrasonic and hanging deterrents, removed insulation and cleaned the attic, set traps throughout the property, and have returned for one recheck to look for new activity. Oh, they also unexpectedly found a large squirrel nest in our siding near our roofline. The photos of them safely removing the squirrels were crazy! We're very happy with the service so far and are reassured that all of the work is under warranty for two years -- all of the rechecks and any additional work needed to address the original problems is covered under the initial invoice. They'll be back to install new insulation in a few weeks, prior to the arrival of the winter season. He'll come and take a look at your house and advise for suggested offerings, like as-needed, quarterly or monthly treatments. During the walk through, he already helped open our crawl space vents, and advised that there was a hole for creatures to get though. He plugged it with steel wool until we could get a better solution. This was all before settling with a treatment option, which we ended up signing on a quarterly basis. He has it scheduled in his calendar for quarterly reminders and will ask when the house is empty next to schedule. He cleans all cobwebs, checks for holes, treats interior of the house and our crawl space. My goal was to keep spiders at bay inside and ensure no destruction outside. We did find mice, and he helped mitigate the situation and will come back and help resolve it. He answers emails very timely and is so responsive. I'm thrilled he is our panda guy for our home in Tahoe. I would highly recommend quarterly treatments at a minimum, as I think it's a better deal than on-call. We even had some other issues at another apartment, and he even kindly advised on that. He's extremely professional and brings booties to protect your floors from dirt. I'm ecstatic we found him!

I had used Economy for a couple years. Before I hired them I was taking care of the pest (mainly…read morespiders, webs and ants) control. Life got busy, so I hired Economy. Over that 2 years, the spider webs started to accumulate in certain areas. Mainly in areas not obviously seen, but also in areas very obvious, like around my sliding glass door. I have security cameras all around my house, and I noticed how unthurough the technician was when he came out to service my house. I decided to call them and let them know how bad the service had been to give them a chance to rectify it. They sent the same technician out again. Of course he did the same poor job he usually did. That was enough for me. I paid for 2 years of poor service, and that was enough. A friend of mine, who lives near me, had used Economy as well. The same technician came out to her house and pretty much noticed the same lackluster performance. A job like this requires attention to detail, and this tech obviously had none, or just didn't care. Will not be using them again and will be letting my neighbors know about my experience.
