Salon: It's a small space, cute interior, metered parking, and a little hard to find because it's actually in the basement on a corner so be sure to ask for landmarks (I already forgot them, but i recognize them when I'm there). For anyone who is used to getting routine facials, you know that you really need to connect with your aesthetician. If I get a weird vibe or don't feel comfortable with my aesthetician, then I'm not going to continue to see them because I won't feel relaxed, and that is the whole reason why I get facials (other than to help with occasional skin issues). As soon as I met Anna I knew she was my girl! She is so friendly, approachable, and very available. She is a one woman show, so she is the only one you will deal with from start to finish. No secretaries, no ancillary staff, just Anna, and it makes it so much easier with regard to communication and booking of appointments. She has a website where she lists all of her available services, which in short include a variety of types facials, waxing of any kind, and she does perform an upper body massage as part of your facial experience as well. She has a Facebook page as well, and my primary method of communication with her has been through FB messenger, which she is very prompt with in general. The actual facial itself was extremely relaxing. Her studio is located in downtown Dover, so occasionally you will hear a car horn or people yelling, but overall she does a very good job making the environment relaxing and calm. Anna does a very good job at explaining what she is doing as she is doing it, but she also allows you to have your quiet relaxation time as well. I actually nodded off for a second the first visit because I was so relaxed! She does extractions if necessary free of charge, and has a variety of add ons such as LED light therapy or high frequency treatments. Her prices are very affordable and reasonable, well worth the price! What I really liked about this experience in general was how attentive Anna is. She messaged me the next day just to check in and see how my skin was feeling, since I was a new client. I have since been back to see her once more, and have another two appts on the books already for March and May; my best friend just booked her first appt with Anna as well based on my experience!
