Skin Health is a wonderful full service spa. The spa hosts a spotless mani-pedi area and a 2-seat hair center (book early!). The massage area sports many new services, including bamboo massage (recommended). Unscented oils are always offered to those with allergies. Receipts are given with appt cards. The reception staff are friendly and sweet. The facility is spotless-can't ask for more! A glass of wine, juice, or other beverage is provided upon arrival. Bliss! read more

I've been visiting this spa for several years. I primarily visit for hair services and microdermabrasion. Katie is my hairdresser. She's always professional and does an excellent job with my color, cut and styling. She's a very good listener and cares about making sure I am happy. She's very popular so plan ahead if you'd like an appointment with her. I plan my appointments well in advance. Also, Kerry has been giving me my facials and microdermabrasion. She again is very professional and cares about her clients. She's very knowledgeable about all things facial. I'd highly recommend the spa. You won't be disappointed. read more

I have probably had in the neighborhood of 300 massages in my 50 years of life so far and today's was amongst the best. I had Andrea and she was absolutely perfect. I told Andrea before we got started exactly where I was most sore and she concentrated on those areas. Everything about the medi-spa is top notch. Very quite, serene room, perfect temperature, heated massage table is just right, the oils or lotions used smell wonderful and feel great. I left today feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and totally spoiled. I will definitely be coming back to medi-spa from now on. read more

I went here with a small group and was told when setting up the appointments that the facility was able to accommodate all of us. Not true. I sat for most of the time waiting to get my nails done. There was no explanation provided, no apology and it was freezing in the room. 5 HOURS later and I had missed lunch and was about to be late for an afternoon appointment. The quality of the nails was subpar with chunks of nail polish under my nails that came off that day with part of the polish. Then, I got to the register and the price for a mani/pedi was double what I was expecting and double to triple what I've paid at other local places. What should have been a fun and relaxing girls day turned into a frustrating waist of money. read more

Had my brows and nails done here a while ago and just getting around to reviewing now. My brows came out pretty well but she did end up exposing a scar I have that never fills in. My nails were done very poorly though. I had a French manicure that was very uneven and messy. I was actually happy when the gel peeled off only a week later. read more

She really listens and will give you honest feedback while working with you to achieve the look you want. She explains everything she is doing and why which I love! Amanda takes great care of my face and I love that the facials are targeted specifically to your needs- She's the best! Nicole and Natalie are great for nails and I love the selection of colors. Let me put it this way - my husband didn't think massages were for men.... Then I introduced him to this Spa and to Melissa and Corinne and I created a monster! We began our monthly (sometimes bi-weekly.... I know we were totally spoiled) couples massages a few years ago and it became our date ritual - spa-brunch-relax-without-the-kids Saturdays. Coming from Savannah, GA, I was first a little thrown off by the 3 weeks in advance booking, lack of shower, jacuzzi, and steam room as part of the experience, but soon realized that most day spas are simple. This place is clean, relaxing, professional, and reasonably priced. After my first visit - I quickly realized why you must plan 3 weeks in advance. They are booked solid and for good reasons!! On only one occasion I had a scheduling issue (thought our appointment was that day and it was really the next week) and even though I'm pretty sure the error was on my part, the owner personally called me back, apologized and provided a discount for our next visit. Certainly unnecessary but absolutely classy. We continued our bi-weekly or monthly visits throughout our time in NH until we had to move to Atlanta recently. We took advantage of the specials on spa weeks and even different types of massages including cups and bamboo sticks. Get wild - they'll take care of you :-) unfortunately we had to move away and I just had my first massage in my new town and totally miss my Melissa from Skin health medi spa!!!!! read more

Hello. I went here for a few years and loved Carla. She was great, and down to earth. I never had a problem, it's very nicely decorated, and the other employees are cordial although a little bit cold. BUT, I was overcharged several times; I believe by the same woman. Each time I would say, "But I thought it was only ...", and she'd say, "No, it's ...". I let it go, thinking maybe I was mistaken. I always paid in cash and didn't keep records. She overcharged me on my second to last visit and that time I noted it. I called a few times to ask about pricing. It verified that I was overcharged. On my following visit the "bed" in the room I was brought to was filthy. There was no doubt about it. Then someone else checked me out at the correct price. Because of the bed and being overcharged, I called to tell the manager. I thought it important to let her know, and I wasn't looking for any compensation at all. Well, she pretty much called me a liar. It's unfortunate, I'll never go back. I wonder how many other people were overcharged. Also hope that woman enjoyed her extra money and wonder how she can look at herself in the mirror everyday. read more

This is a review of my experience with their nurse injector, Tara. I am explaining this, because I get my hair done downstairs and my stylist is amazing, and the staff downstairs are professional and welcoming. My experience with Tara was different. I went for the first time this summer. It was my first time getting botox, I was excited and nervous. When I went into the room, I received a quick hello and started to explain what I was thinking and she quickly said okay, sounds good. She seemed in a rush, uninterested in any type of consultation. So I pushed a bit and asked about where she was planning to do it, and how much in each spot. She gave a rapid run through the 3 areas and I then asked her to do only 1 spot (between the eyes-- I didn't want to do my whole face) and I would come back to try other areas. It took about 20 seconds and she said, "okay you're all set". I asked about follow-up care and a check-up appointment. She said don't do hot yoga or go upside down, and I didn't need a follow-up-- okay easy enough. I left, 20 units later ($260) and felt a bit disappointed in the whole experience. I read online that nearly every Dr requests a two-week follow-up to check the results (this wasn't offered). The results were fine, not amazing but good enough I thought I'd try my eyes. Same experience but even less dialogue about my expectations. She injected and again no offer of follow-up or care instructors. When I went to pay she had used 24 units (if she had told me she was going to use this much I would have said no, but I thought she as going to use 12 total based on my questioning during my first appointment, not 12 on each side!) It was way too much. When I smile I have what I have learned are called "chipmunk cheeks" and the under wrinkles (my area of concern) are exacerbated. Not sure if it was placement or the lack of discussion about what my concerns are with my eyes but I hate the result (and am out $312). Overall, the lack of consultation, lack of review of costs, lack of follow-up care and the disappointing results, ensures I won't be returning. read more

Worst hair cut and color of my life.. paid $200 and came home and cried... it doesn't even look like I got my hair colored and my cut is horrid, beyond uneven.. it's like my stylist has never cut hair before..
