Three story house with Four bed, two bath, plus basement. He was good to his word. The job took two days, two forty foot bins, and 2 truckloads of donations. In addition a king size water bed (thanks for taking one for the team, but don't do that again). I wish I had taken photos of the crew. They were so helpful. We were so emotionally attached to my moms things. Bob and Crew were sympathetic and kind. Bob and team Help me and my family get through a rough time. ELS is not cheap. George has a very comforting manner and he and his family and team work together to support the sellers. He is very careful to lock up meticulously checking to make sure everything is secure. He has a team that helps run the sales so items stay secure. He brings extra tables to display items. We tried to hire auctioneers to do this job but they wanted to only take certain items to their auction wear house and charge $100/ hour to move the items. Also most auctioneers expect you to include the real estate ( home). We were pleased that this company assists only in selling the contents of the home and garage. At the end of my experience with this company I felt like I wanted to remain friends with George and his wife Tracee. They are good people. You can't go wrong however he is becoming very popular so don't hesitate to schedule with them.

I used Dilliards to help me with a downsizing project. I contracted with them to haul away and…read moreauction off (online) a trailer full of about 1200 cubic feet of household items, furniture, an overhead garage door, and garden equipment. Initially, owner Mike Dilliard, put on quite a charming show, breaking into auctioneer-speak, when he came to discuss the job. He was professional and prompt in getting a truck to us. He was clear that we could either make money, lose money or break even. The photographing and tagging of large items left at our home was done in a friendly, respectful, and timely manner. But it really went downhill from there. It took them two months to get the items ready for auction. By then it was right before Christmas. The follow up from the office regarding cataloguing of our items (and my being able to add to the descriptions) turned out to be very poor. The ball was completely dropped and I wasn't notified of the items being ready until 24 hours before the auction, when the poorly written catalogue had already been open for almost two weeks. The auction results were DISMAL, with every single item going for less than it would have at a yard sale, let alone on ebay or craigslist. There was continued lack of communication (no response to repeated phone calls) in the follow up, regarding items needing to be picked up from our property. After the auction had been completed for over two months, I finally had to contact them about completing the contract. This was supposed to have been done in 14 - 21 days. In my email, I outlined 7 instances of poor performance on the part of the staff. Mike replied promptly, by voicemail, but only addressed the tardiness in finalizing the auction, nothing else. He apologized and said he would forego his commission. As you can probably guess, if he hadn't given his commission, I would have lost money. In addition to putting in no effort to really sell the items for a decent amount, he charges $25 per hour for cataloguing the items, which he uses an app for, which he told me was so easy. I calculated they spent about a half hour on each item. That long for one photo and a few words of description? Doubtful! BEWARE! This is pretty much a service to get your stuff hauled away, and you may end up paying for it. Anything valuable, take the time to sell it yourself. And if you use them, ride them like a jockey. (Although I have friends who did and they, too, were sorely disappointed.)

Had a terrible experience with Jeremy and Mulrooney Estate Services. Met with Jeremy for an estate…read moresale for my father's estate weeks in advance, and we scheduled both a prep date for the sale and a weekend in June for the actual sale. Jeremy's exact words at this time were "I'm going to lock you in for those dates so no one else goes on the calendar, and I'll check back with you near the end of May to make sure everything is still good." So I text Jeremy in the middle of May just checking in and reconfirming everything is a go. Jeremy texts me back if he can now schedule sometime in July. I call Jeremy and in his words "He gets tons of calls!" and "If we get a client that confirms for those dates then they have to take precedent". We were ALREADY confirmed. Jeremy's own words were that "no one would go on the schedule", and we ARE confirmed for that weekend. The only thing he said was that he would circle back end of May just to make sure we're good. We were always good. Now he wanted to change in July, and his second offer was in the middle of the week of another week in June, completely different dates (and no weekend). We had made all of our plans around the dates of the estate sale that we made with Jeremy. Completely unreliable, lied to me directly saying the dates "weren't confirmed" when they absolutely were and he even said "no one else would go on the calendar that weekend", and tons of time wasted and he could care less. I guess because he's getting "tons of calls!". Thanks for making an already incredibly difficult time that much harder. Wish I would've seen these reviews on Yelp earlier.
