I was told that we are allowed to call the cruise lines to book our customers and to confirm anything that needs to be confirmed naturally that's the way things are done. ummmm duh...yes thats what agents do call the crusie lines...I WAS scolded for having had called the cruise lines to confirm stuff for my customers really? I was told that I was making the cruise line you look bad because I was calling to confirm stuff my customers.. the owner of preferred has no clue what she's doing. But not preferred travel of Naples they slandered me and defamed me behind my back to the cruise agencies and several of my customers I should have sued for damages but I never did.. I will not be pursuing anything legal but I just wanted everyone to know the stay away from this place they are bad news There are so many other agencies out there to deal with...STAY AWAY!!!

The Naples Historical Society is also the steward of the Naples Historical Society Foundation, Inc. which raises funds for historical preservation. The headquarters of the Naples Historical Society is the Historic Palm Cottage which is the oldest house in Naples. The 3,500 sq ft house was built in 1895 to be used as a summer cottage by Walter N. Haldeman, the owner and editor of the Louisville, Kentucky Courier Journal and Times. The house has now been turned into a museum. On May 24, 1982, Palm Cottage was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Tours are given of the house and educational programs are staged there. The Naples Historical Society purchased the 1/2 acre lot next to the house and turned it into a cottage garden that can be rented for events. Administration and archives is held at another historic property, a house built in 1910 that is a half block from Palm Cottage. Some of the programs the Naples Historical Society implements are the Naples History Tours, Christmas at Palm Cottage, Garden Side Chickee Chats, fund raising events, and guest speakers. Palm Cottage is currently closed due to the pandemic but I still enjoyed paying it a visit. I had to make my own history tour but I look forward to coming back to take the Naples Historical Society's downtown history tour that includes the cottage. Anyone who is interested in history will want to avail themselves of the excellent programs provided by the historical society.

The rest of the guys went to an engraver off Davis Blvd in Naples, and the result was spectacular! Laser engraved, blackened in text and looked just like an AMEX card... I happened to be driving by Trophy Case and figured it was all the same. BOY WAS I WRONG. Apparently they DONT USE A LASER ENGRAVER, but instead a crappy old machine that looks like screwdriver scratches. They tried to blacken the text with something but it failed and created a permanent smudge. Hopefully I can get a new card and go to where my other friends went ... I forgot that I prepaid when I dropped it off and they didn't even offer a refund. Just "oh well... sorry." The woman even joked that she used my gift card for her dinner... If I could leave NEGATIVE STARS, I would. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING IMPORTANT TO THIS PLACE!!! They need a massive investment in new machines, laser engravers and training to use them. This place is apparently stuck in the 1980s churning out plastic little league trophies, hoping that Blockbuster Movie Rentals comes back so that they can use up their old stock plastic name badges.
