I wish that when I call the office that someone would answer the phone. I can not understand why people are in the office but nobody answers the phones. The other day Walgreen's call me to say they had been trying for 3 days and can't get anyone to answer the phone to get approval for my meds renewal . Dr. Rodriguez is no longer there and I have no idea who the doctor is now. I love Lorena and Sammi. I have tried for several days to call the office and no one answers the phone. I can't access the new patient portal. I called the main number of this so called HealthyUclinics that took over, and they told me that i have to contact TruecareMd directly. It's hard to do when the phone is not being answered. I purposely have stayed on hold, while cooking or doing something around the house just to see if they ever decide to answer the phone. The phone was never answered and disconnects after about 20 minutes. I'm seriously looking for a new place. This is sad because I've been a patient for years. read more

How things have changed in a few years. From being one of the best places I have been part of to becoming worst than other places, I have been to. I have left this message to the practice today. I need to vent; I am not sure what has happened to The True Care MD, that I fell in love with. Where the doctor's cared to listen to the patients and diagnose correctly?. To not really paying attention as The office staff being a joke, can't set up an appointment correctly. You wait for an hour to hear from someone and then to get an MA, to be condescending, "do you want the appointment or not?" Or send a message through this portal and not get an answer until days later, with, "we are sorry, we are busy." This is the reason why I am leaving True Care MD, my wife well she likes punishment so I guess she is staying with True Care MD. Beware that this same rant is going on as many platforms and social media that I can post to. I hope this shines a light on how bad your practice has become. read more

Changing my primary Dr to Dr Fala has been such a blessing. Not only did he take the time to listen to me, he read all my information, checked past hospital visits and because I have no health insurance he even spent time with my showing me hoe to get the best deals on my prescriptions. He saved me over $100 a month on medication alone. In over a decade at my previous dr none of this happened. In 6 months I feel better than I have in years. The office is clean, organized, staff is so friendly and there's even coffee and water in the lobby while you wait. The practice recently split with Dr. Fala taking over the Sun City West office & Dr. Rodriquez in the Thunderbird/91st Ave. location. I have always seen Dr. Rodriquez and absolutely love him! He has taken care of me and my extended family for many years. At the end of life for my mother-in-law he was such a comfort to my family as we gathered by her bedside in the hospital. "Mom" wasn't always an easy person to deal with, but Doctor had a knack for communicating with her and helping her to know she still had "control." He really had a way of spelling out the situation firmly to her, but also compassionately. Dr. Rodriguez has great compassion for his patients and doesn't just look at one symptom, but looks at your overall health for the big picture. Dr. Rodriguez is the chief medical officer for Banner Del E Webb hospital so you know he is legit! You don't get to that level without be a good doctor. I love that while he is an important person he has never been haughty like so many doctors who talk down to you. read more

This is the most difficult offices to deal with bar none! You can not call and speak with anyone on the phone, just leave a message and they say they'll call back by the end of the next business day. sometimes they do, sometimes I don't hear back from them and need to call them and leave another message and wait aging. I started with True Care after I was released from the hospital where I just found out I was diabetic. The hospital set me up with a diabetic specialist but I also needed a PCP. I unfortunately picked true care. On my first visit to true care the doctor told me she would be able to take care of all my medical needs and I didn't need the specialist for this relatively easy to care for condition. So I canceled my appointments with the Specialist. What a mistake that was! As true care was unable to keep an appointment date I've arranged with them for a few days after my blood test. With true care I am ALWAYS running out of my metformin due to them not ever giving any refills on it. It's Metformin! Is there a street value for this stuff, is it an abused drug, addictive? When I would finally be able to speak with them, i would get the vibe they really didn't care for their patients, just their money. Almost every 90 days I need to go to a family member and ask them for some of their metformin to be able to maintain my glucose level till I'm able to get a refill. Why would true care care so little that they would knowingly deprive me of my needed medication? I thought they took an oath to do no harm. I'm now in search of a doctor's office that truly cares for and will work with with it's patients. if medical care is important to you be sure to avoid this office. read more

Have been searching for a new PCP for a few years and am pleased with my choice. Dr Fala spent a considerable amount of time taking a H & P, really learning a lot about my medical conditions, etc. I like him and feel comfortable in his care. Dr Fala does not follow through with his prescriptions. My son has been without his blood pressure pills for 1 week. The pharmacy keeps calling the Office and phone messages left no follow through. This is by far the most unprofessionally run office that I've ever come across from a doctor. They don't call you back when they say they will. Very rude staff when you call up a week after they have your test results and have the nerve to ask them to tell you what the results are, and don't give test you requests even know you are paying for them. Also when they do finally tell you what's wrong with you they drag their feet on getting a referral for you I'm still waiting for mine. And God forbid when they know from the test results that you are truly in severe pain you cant ask them for anything to help otherwise you are labeled a drug addict and denied any pain medicine. You would be better of with a witch doctor and his voodoo than this dr. Office they will not treat you right avoid at all cost and find a different doctor because this one sucks.... read more

I've seen three different providers so far because the first two are no longer working there, last one I saw was Dr Rodriguez, who has giving me prescription refills twice , I was down to two refills left on my blood pressure meds and my pharmacy notified me that the prescription I take which has two ingredients is nationally in backorder and that they requested Dr Rodriguez to ok for them to give me both medications separately, which he denied , I have not had my blood pressure medication for more than two weeks , I believe that there has to be a more compassionate way of dealing with an issue like mine, I called and left a message for the Office Manager to call me to discuss my situation and no one ever called . Last time I saw him was June 17,2019, It's not like I'm a non compliant patient , and by the way the Dr moved and I never received a courtesy notice . read more

This was my first appointment with I new doctor here in AZ since moving here. I had received Dr Fala's name from a relative who had good reviews with his office (never talked to him directly) so I called to make the appointment. I asked how long would I have to talk to him as I had a list of questions and concerns I wanted to go over. I was told I would have 30 minutes with him. I showed up for my appointment, on time, and waited 45 minutes to see him. Once he was in the room I could hardly get a word in edgewise. He constantly interrupted me and acted like he was too busy to deal with my problems. Never read the 4 pages of information I filled out prior to our visit and made several wrong conclusions as to why I was there. I got a total of 6 minutes of his time. Once our visit was over he said he was going to order an MRI and blood work. An assistant came in, handed me some paperwork and told me I had to call and make my own arrangements for my blood work, Urogram and MRI! I couldn't believe it! What was I paying them for? Will be looking for a new doctor right away. read more

I had a zoom visit scheduled for 9AM. I set up 5 mins early and waited till 10:30 before I gave up. I was supposed to speak with an MA to refill prescription..During my wait, I called the office twice and had to sit on hold for 5+ minutes to speak to scheduler..She Told me I was next in que, and that I should refresh my zoom session every 40 minutes...I have never met Dr. Fala in person, and his office was continually scheduling appts. without my knowledge or consent, until I demanded they stop..I am so disappointed, since Dr. Falla was highly recommended..Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere for a PCP. read more

This is the worst medical practice I've ever encountered. They treat their elderly patients like cattle. They shuffle them in, order a bunch of tests, refuse to diagnose or treat, and farm them out to a bunch of unnecessary specialists, cashing in on referrals. They do NOT answer their phones, nor return calls. My mom became seriously ill due to months of their negligence. They also hand out scripts for unnecessary meds on demand, including opiods. Do not trust your loved ones to them. I fired them and got her a new primary. Hopefully it's not too late for her to recover from their neglect. read more

Initial visit for my mother. Had the appointment scheduled since early December of 2016 for 11 January 2017. Show up at scheduled time and place and get informed " oh he moved offices". No courtesy call. I sit here now an hour past my mother's appointment and across town, listening to the front desk making courtesy calls about "our new office location ". Weird. We never received that. Just a "oh you didn't know?" I truly hope this doctor is better than the office personnel. read more

I'm shocked this practice has 3 stars. I see Dr. Lopez and I think he's an amazing doctor and I will tell you why! In November 2016 I became extremely ill, I was coughing up blood and extremely exhausted, I went in to see a doctor in Surprise (that was a huge mistake) and was seen by a PA which said I had some bronchitis maybe walking pneumonia... she gave me some antibiotics which caused me to break out in hives all over. I called them and it took me calling 4 times for them to change my prescription... a few days later I still felt like I was on deaths door... i made another appointment and was told they would give me an inhaler... I argued that I needed an x-ray and they finally agreed. I got one and surprisingly it was clear, no pneumonia or lung cancer... why did I feel like I was dying and why were the meds not working?! After 23 days of being miserable called to schedule a third appointment but felt helpless and they clearly couldn't and didn't care to help so I found True Care MD : Dr. Lopez from a friend. I scheduled and walked in to my appointment and with in the first few minutes of describing my symptoms, Dr. Lopez says, "I think you have mono" and I said, "I feel like I'm dying... I want to die. I've been sick for 23 days and I just can't live like this. I think I have valley fever cause nothing is helping." Dr. Lopez tested me for both Mono and Valley fever and the Mono test came back positive. I came in for the results and believe it or not, I was incredibly happy to know it was Mono and not lung cancer or Valley Fever... i should add, I was able to get a breathing treatment upon the first appointment right before even seeing the doctor... I'm AMAZED with the care I've received with Dr. Lopez and the True Care MD team. The front desk lady listens well, she takes great notes and they always know exactly what I'm going in for. I've started to have my husband see Dr. Lopez for his insomnia as he was feeling hopeless and Dr. Lopez has helped tremendously. I can not say enough great things about this office and Dr. Lopez. I will drive to either location just to see Dr. Lopez! YES, HE IS THAT AMAZING! read more

Simply Amazing! I have not had a problem with any one of the four doctors in this office. I wish they treated children because I would fire my current pediatrician and bring my kids there because they are so awesome. They always get me in on time and when I call for an emergency they get me in within a couple hours. Also they're open on Saturdays.
