I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple events with this rental company, I feel obligated to share my experience. The biggest issues have been reliability, communication, and lack of accountability. On several occasions, deliveries were late, items were missing, or the wrong items were delivered. Every event seemed to come with a different excuse--truck breakdowns, driver issues, accidents, and other last-minute explanations. One event was held outdoors in a community backyard. The company failed to pick up the rentals after the event, leaving everything there for five days. I had to return the next morning to move everything indoors myself, which was extremely embarrassing in front of my client. At another event, they arrived with the wrong table covers and had to leave and come back with the correct ones, causing significant delays in my setup schedule. The final event was the most disappointing. We agreed that all rentals would be be delivered by 8:00 AM. By 9:00 AM, I still had not heard from anyone. When I finally received a response, there was yet another excuse involving a driver accident and lack of access to the rental inventory. The goblets we had agreed upon were never delivered, the table covers provided were not what was expected, and the napkins were sent separately through an Uber driver and did not arrive until 12:30 PM. My event started at 1:00 PM, leaving me to fold and prepare 110 napkins at the last minute. In addition to the service issues, the quality of many of the rental items has been disappointing. A number of the chairs appeared worn, damaged, or broken, which is not what you expect when providing rentals for professional events. I have also heard similar concerns from other vendors in the industry, including stories of major delivery failures. While I can only personally speak to my own experiences, the repeated problems I encountered make those reports believable. As an event professional, I work hard to create a seamless experience for my clients. Unfortunately, this company's repeated delays, missing items, poor communication, poor-quality inventory, and failure to honor commitments created unnecessary stress and negatively impacted multiple events. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this company. Reliability is critical in the event industry, and unfortunately, that is not what I received. read more

First of all, you never once mentioned to me whether these flowers were real or silk, you just gave me a quote upfront ( I attached the messages below). The initial quote was $1540. I have messages to confirm that. I did not receive any discount from you nor have any messages to confirm that, so if you want to show that, then you can respond with proof. I did not deny the credit. You told me you would refund me for a credit and I agreed. Second, I told you the hall was available earlier at 10 AM (see text below) and you said 5pm is good. I did not threaten your staff--I was not at the event space when your staff delivered, which they did not deliver at 4pm, so how would I have threatened your staff? Please stop spreading lies to your customers. I did not withhold anything from you. I asked for a quote for another event was to provide you more business... I have the right to ask for a quote, now you're using that against me...? This is ridiculous. I never asked for a full refund back, I asked for partial refund (please see text message below). THIS COMPANY True Events IS A SCAM!!!! Do not risk your event hiring this True Events. The owner Laura Hernandez is a FRAUD! I rented chairs, tables, table covers, draping, cocktail tables etc. Laura took the entire payment of around $3,000 before my event date and did not show up. My event was on Aug 24th, set up was scheduled for Aug 23rd between 3-6pm. I called her 100x on Aug 23rd. Her phone would go straight to voicemail. At 5:20pm, I sent her a text message that I was going to report her since I had footage of her on my property for a walk through when I hired her. She then calls me right after the threatening texts at 6:15pm. She sounded like she was sleeping. She told me her warehouse where her rentals are stored burned down and she was at the police station and fire department. I asked her why she didn't send me a simple text letting me know since I had called her over 100x. She said bc she was busy dealing with the police etc. I asked her for a police report number? She said she doesn't have it and she's just an employee of the company. I said okay so are the rentals available? Are you going to deliver? She said no, she had to file a insurance claim. I said, okay so please refund my money so I can get another rental company. She said no I cant do that bc insurance has to pay me????? Then she changed the entire story to she can deliver but on my event date at between 8am-10am. When I said okay but will you have time to do the setup since my event is at 3:30pm same day? She then changed the time again to 12:00- 2:00pm. I was livid at this point. My event is at 3:30pm. I knew I was dealing with a liar and a fraud. There's no way I was going to rely on her when she's lied and changed her stories so many times. Laura Hernandez has zero integrity. She was sent to me from a different vendor (7 Days Party Rentals) If I knew her company didn't have any reviews and her warehouse address is not disclosed I wouldn't have hired her. I am now pursing a civil lawsuit against her and the vendor that refereed her to me. I had to find a new rental company the day of my event and pay a lot more for last minute booking. I was extremely overwhelmed. Save your sanity and do not hire this shady company True Events Laura Hernandez. ***** Responding to your message. I never canceled. I called/texted you the day of set up to find out your time of arrival for set up. You did not respond and when you did you told me you don't have the rentals and it burn down. You then said no we can deliver but not until the next the following day from 8am-10am. You sent me photos of a van with chairs inside. I still responded with "deliver now" which was day of setup at 7pm. You then replied and changed drop off time the day of the event from 12pm-2pm. Are you delusional? My event was at 3:30pm. Of course I didn't want to rely on you the day of the event to drop off rentals when you lied consecutively. You did not meet your timeline nor after your timeline.
