Maybe it was under different mgmt or had different suppliers when the other reviews posted but my experience was not like theirs AT ALL I went in on July 9th 2018. There were 5 ladies ahead of me and they were pretty indecisive but the girl that was attending to them was SOOO patient When it was my turn, I knew nothing of weaves (last time I wore one was in 2007). She was super helpful, picked out the best one and she was knowledgeable. (I called my friend who lives in a weave to verify and she gave it a thumbs up) Also THE HAIR DID NOT SMELL LIKE CORNCHIPS lol. When I entered the store, I was so pleased. The store was clean. The ladies behind the counter greeted me with a warm welcome. I was alarmed that there was a security guard on the premises but I guess I should have felt protected. Hey, I know how serious some women can get about their hair! Customer service is everything ... I dropped by today to get a feel for the hair and didn't even want to bother looking because the woman that buzzed me in acted like she hated anything that moved including me coming in. She was just so disgusted , her tone , demeanor . She wasn't friendly . I don't want to spend $200 somewhere that I'm not respected . I tried this hair years ago and it was trash but I've recently seen so many people raving about it so I was going to show some grace and try it again . This hair gets a Star because it lasted long enough to get me through my engagement photos (1 day), After that, this hair was garbage. I knew there was a problem when my stylist went to curl it and she said that it was catching on the flat iron...that's because some pieces actually melted! This hair is not 100% Brazilian hair, there may be some strands of real hair in there, but something is not right. I cannot explain how frustrating it is to spend $200 on hair and then another $200 to put it in just to take it out after 4 weeks. I'm very particular about how I look and I can't walk around with bad hair. To make things worse, I had my stylist "treat" and cut the hair in hopes that some life could be added to it. It looked even worse after being washed, and why did I think I could treat fake hair! Ugh! Lol. I was desperate to save it, but just had to take it out. I have to look fly and I was looking anything but fabulous with this hair. I didn't go out or take any selfies the whole time I had it lol, I was non existent to the world for a little over a month. I'm hoping I can dispute this purchase, and I contacted the company and they of course ignored my email(I don't live in GA online purchase)...awful customer service. What I've learned from this costly experience is to use common sense...there aren't 100s of Brazilian women trying to give black women their hair. They slap the name Brazilian name on it and sell you something different. My real hair looks better than that mess. This hair is flat, tangly, lacks body, and is not remy/virgin/Brazilian etc. If you just want some hair hanging down your back and you don't care what it looks like or how long it lasts...buy this. After the install of my hair I really like it! It was dyed to blonde to create an ombre and it's very pretty overall I'll come back and use their hair. I have been shopping at true glory for about two years now, I was going to the Smyrna location but then they opened up stonecrest I started going there. Most recently before June or July I heard they got a new supplier and at first I thought the hair was good but after 3-4 weeks this hair is crap. Idk what happened but months ago when I first straighten the Brazilian hair it got bone straight, now it doesn't straighten well it still has a annoying curl patterns, frizzes all day long, the ends look awful, the weave itself(track) is thin, my stylist asked me was this new hair the weft is thinner I told her no it's true glory and she said they changed hair because it's thinner now. I'm just over true glory hair, I liked the price but not the quality. I'd say that you have to catch True Glory when they have the right vendors. I have been fortunate enough to always receive good hair but I've heard several complaints about their hair. I continue to purchase from here because I haven't had a bad experience thus far. My hair doesn't smell and the shedding is comparable to natural hair. (There is no hair that will not have shedding and if your hair doesn't shed then it's cheap). Their customer service could use some improving but I guess I'll take it. I like they their marketing efforts and business model has improved, it's definitely beginning to show. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking for nice affordable Brazilian straight hair. I've been using True Glory hair on & off since moving to Georgia 2 years ago. At first the hair was great; then they must have changed suppliers . The hair used to smell so bad, that it didn't matter what you did you could not get rid of the horrible "dog" smell associated with the hair. Then things got better, and the hair was awesome... I been coming to true glory for 3 maybe 4 years to buy hair. I've never had an issue with the quality of the hair until now. Last month I purchased an Indian deep wave closure for $94 which I thought was high but I got it anyway and 3 Indian deep wave bundles. The first time I washed my daughter hair the closure slightly tangled up. I was able to get the tangles out but didn't think much of it I don't wear weave a lot so I thought this was normal. The second time the closure was washed and it matted up so BAD it was beyond recognition. My stylist had to cut the closure out my daughters head and she had to get one from the beauty store. I went into true glory to make them aware of the situation despite the 15 day return policy on the receipt. I wanted to show them the HORRIBLE hair quality they are selling at such high prices. I spoke to the manager Lashawn about it she was pretty nice but she couldn't help me in my situation due to the 15 day return policy and it was been a month. The manger escalated it to her manager because I felt I should of been compensated in some kind of way. Her manager Miranda was not helpful at all she basically was talking in circles and repeating the same thing the first manager said. To make matters worse she offered me a $10 gift card and said I would need to purchase another closure. Why the HELL would I do that???? Basically this was $94 down the drain and I work too hard to have my money thrown away. True glory has lost a loyal customer and I definitely will NOT be back!!! I have bought hair from this establishment years ago and it was great. The hair now sucks!! It stinks very badly and the smell will not go away. No matter how much I shampoo and condition it. They spray the hair and make it smell good in the store, When I got home and shampoo it, that smell lit up my whole bathroom. It is embarrassing to lay next to my husband knowing I smell like corn chips or athletes feet. The bundles are smaller than usual. The customer service was horrible. I called the Stonecrest location and spoke with a manager regarding the smell and the different color bundles, she stated the bundles can be replaced with bundles that are less smelly, you can boil it or color it. That is not a good answer! Also, it is very dark in the store so you can not see what you are buying. The young ladies are not helpful and they gave me two different color bundles and suggested I color them to be same when I called back. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE HAIR FORM THIS ETABLISHMENT AGAIN.
