Poor customer service. They ran out of acai and offered pittaya as a substitute instead. Another customer came in requesting something but it was also unavailable. I received a feedback request from square and address how my peer was allergic to sunflower seed and we did not realize it was inside the açaí bowl. However, the owner just got defensive and argued that it's stated in the granola ingredients. I explain I didn't purchase the granola but they told me I could've looked at the menu. My first time here and I got the yogi berry açaí Bowl. The Bowl was beyond delicious!! Loved all the flavors and the toppings. It was gluten and dairy free as well. True Juice is starting to make my Starbucks latte addiction seem affordable. I've never really understood the whole juice cleanse thing. Days without food? No thank you. However, I"m all about juicing for a late afternoon snack. During my frequent visits to True Juice over the past few weeks I've tried a variety of their cold press juices. I've yet to have one I didn't love, but Fountain of Youth is probably my favorite. And I look at least years younger ever since drinking it. Ha- I wish. They also have some healthy food options for others who don't want to drink their meals. I've tried their avocado stuffed tuna, which was really good (and I"m picky about my tuna). There are a few other salads I'd like to try next time. The tasty juice itself is worth 5 stars, but as many other yelpers have mentioned the price is a bit absurd. Even the guy who sold me my juice the other day mentioned he thought the price was ridiculous. If you bring back your bottles they'll give you $.50 off your next order (whoopdeedoo- note the sarcasm). The juice bar I frequent in SF gives $2 off your next order for the same bottles. I'll continue to stop in a few times a week for juice and other food (just like I've been shelling out the dough for my beloved Starbucks lattes for many years now), but may even become a daily customer if they reconsider their pricing. read more

However when I do try something new, I'm surprised with yet another thing I love even more. Today I feasted on sweet potato pablamo soup and then also the quinoa with roasted vegetables. Both were superb! All of the salads, soups, bowls, sweeties, etc are a delightful surprise with an explosion of flavor. Then again the smoothies and fresh organic juices are enough alone to keep me coming here. Being organic is another bonus. So happy to have True Juice in the neighborhood. Juices, smoothies and food items are 100% delicious and fresh. Service is impeccable and patient - they will sample varieties of juices and recommend a selection based on how you are feeling or what your taste preference is. I've tried several of the smoothies and juices and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. I'm typically not a fan of the "green" juice - blue print's version is vile but I was pleasantly surprised here. I honestly don't know how whole foods gets away with selling that stuff for $10 a bottle. It is just not good in comparison. Kudos to true juice for offering kids size smoothies in kid friendly flavors - love the clever names too. I came in on a Sunday feeling under the weather and tried a shot of ginger (came back the next day for another) and somehow didn't get full blown sick. May be a coincidence but I'm hooked. The soup hits the spot if you are not up for a smoothie. Butternut squash was delicious and filing. I've tried the kale and quinoa chicken salads - both very good. I am appalled by the service here. Not only is the food exceptionally terrible, but the atmosphere and the people who work here are unpleasant. It might be dramatic, but I can assure you I've never had a worse acaí bowl and I have had my fair share. If you are looking for a place to waste your $$$$ you have come to the right place.
