Rev. Linda performed a thoughtful, beautiful, and unique ceremony for our elopement on Dec. 2020 in Chapel Dulcinea, Driftwood. We found her services through an Austin wedding planning site and after going through the testimonials and pictures of her previous ceremonies we decided to contact her. She was very responsive and very quickly let us know her availability. We met her through zoom and had a really deep and meaningful conversation about the vision we had for this elopement. She took the time to get to know our love story with thought-provoking questions. My husband and I were in tears (happy ones), because it was the first time I think we had ever gone into such detail with someone that really cared to hear our story. She also shared with us a little about her professional background and her faith. We truly felt the connection we were looking for with Rev. Linda. This was very important for us because we needed to trust her with such an important moment in our lives. The ceremony she prepared for us incorporated some Catholic traditions (scripture, prayers, blessing of rings, and lasso) and had some portions in Spanish. This was very special for us because my family was watching through live stream from Honduras and Mexico, and they felt like they were part of the ceremony. My family said they were very impressed with Rev. Linda's seamless merging of two languages to create such a warm message of love. My mother is very important to me, and Rev. Linda picked up on that during our conversation and she made sure to mention this in the ceremony. One of my favorite aspects of her ceremony, is that the script was personalized and prepared weeks in advance. She provided a wonderful PDF with readings, and vows for us to choose from. We created something that really matched our personalities and our hopes in life. While she was performing the ceremony, she followed the script very carefully, with a calm and peaceful pace. It felt like a conversation, but not too informal. I have seen other ceremonies performed that seemed "ad lib" and didn't like how informal that seemed. Her delivery of the readings and her directions during our vows were deliberate, clear, and soothing. I really loved that because we were very emotional! She gave us good tips for the location because she is very familiar with Chapel Dulcinea, and also helped us make decisions about other details regarding having a ceremony during pandemic times. She also made sure several times that we didn't forget our marriage license, since we drove all the way from Houston for this ceremony.
