If I could give 0 stars I would! I got a pedicure yesterday and less than 12 hours later, my right foot had no color left on the toes and my left foot had 3 cuts around the nails where they cut me with the clippers. When I went in to confront them about their terrible job and ask for a refund, all they said is they can repaint my nails. I don't want them anywhere near my toes after they mutilated them!! I wouldn't go here even if it were free!! Save your money and go somewhere else!!! read more

I was in Omaha for the weekend visiting family and had a few hours to myself, so I decided to go for a pedicure. I found TruElegance on yelp and it had pretty decent reviews and was only about a ten minute drive, so I called at 10am when they opened and they were able to get me in at 11:30. I had to wait a few minutes past my appointment time, but it wasn't bad, and I was offered a water by the nice young gentleman working the front desk and phones. Thuy was my nail tech and she was very friendly and professional! I chose to spring for the signature pedicure...I thought it was great! It included several phases of exfoliation, a great massage, paraffin wax, and cucumber and hot stone and rub. When it was time to do the color Thuy realized that my polish was too dry, so she walked to the wall and Brooke me back four choices that I pointed at. Overall, it was great! It was very busy, so I was glad I made an appointment. I would suggest anyone who wants a service here do the same. Note: they are moving at the end of July and getting all new furniture! read more

This amazing place managed to accommodate our party of 10 at the last minute. We were in town for my daughter's wedding and needed mani/pedi's. They not only gave us amazing service, in a clean and professional salon, but as we were there on a Monday and during their happy hour they gave us great discounts too. This place is absolutely outstanding as far as nail designs and overall work. I'd rate 5 stars but even when you make an appointment they don't get to you on time. Had a 6:15 appointment this evening and didn't get my pedicure started until 6:40. I almost wanted to leave because they closed at 7. I have been going to TruElegance for over a year now. Over the past few months the service has really gone down hill. When you make an appointment they never start on time. It is usually 30 to 35 minutes after your appointment time. Once they finally seat you the technicians usually do a great job. I went in today for a pedicure with a friend of mine who is pregnant and can no longer see her feet. We waited 30 minutes past our appointment time to actually get our pedicures started. The water was luke warm at best. The rest of the pedicure went well until we were ready to go sit at the drying table. The technician decided to grab my purse for me but in doing so she hit my freshly painted toe nails with my very expensive leather Coach bag. When I called the manager over she attempted to clean the polish off the bag with alcohol which we all know ruins leather. There was no apology. No discount on my pedicure for ruining a $500 Coach bag. Nothing. Needless to say I will be searching for a new nail salon. read more

My experience looks EXACTLY like Briana D's review. SEE PICS. My nails are LUMPS. I got them today, it looks like they need a FILL. When I was there a lady came in because her shellac came off her nails TWICE within one week. They repaired it once it sounded like but today, the lady there (who speaks English) told her "it looks like you have oily nails so that's why shellac won't stay on you" . WHAT!? she said she would fix it but had to PAY. For ten mins this poor customer! This place is a scam. It's only $40 for a full set plus shellac. A good quality place charges at least $60. They use SUPER PINK acrylic too. No gel. The lady who did my nails, or should I say ruined my nails is Cindy. Not sure how they are in business. I would ask for a refund but they obviously humiliate customers that come in for refunds I witnessed first hand. A bad review is good and I hope this saves a person from wasting money read more

Kinder than necessary... Above and beyond. A woman waiting next to me was getting angry because she hadn't been sat yet, (her appointment was at 2 and it was 2:04) not overly angry just kind of agitated and frustrated. When I was sitting there I offered to let her go in front of me. The manager (I think) came over and reassured the woman that she was going to be personally helping her, so I went with the original woman who was helping me. Once I was finished and drying my nails the manager came over and apologized to me (even though she definitely didn't have to) and then gave me a gift certificate for my next visit. She didn't do this to appease me because I was unhappy with my experience. I didn't even really think about it after it happened. That proved to me that she didn't give me the certificate because she thought I was upset, she really did just want to be kinder than necessary. I recently moved back to Omaha from Dallas and wanted to find a new nail salon, I found this one, it's close to home and looked nice. I came here Friday the 2nd and was right back in again 5 days later. 3 of my nails were broken off. I always get the dip power on my nails and never had an issue with my nails breaking they normally last 2 weeks sometimes almost 3. I was very disappointed so I went back on Wednesday the 7th and they recommended I get acrylic then put shellac on top because they will be "stronger". My nails aren't brittle and i regularly go every 2 weeks to get my nails done. The nails aren't shaped well, I think they use cheap products and the staff is unprofessional. There conversations were between the whole salon not just one another talking very loud. Over all it hasn't even been a week yet and I've paid over $100 for dip nails that didn't last, a pedicure that's already chipping and shellac nails that are crooked and a sloppy paint job. I visited this nail salon for the first time last week and so far I'm pretty impressed. There are a few things I would change to make it a 5 star, but regardless of that, I will still definitely be returning. I was a walk-in and from the get go I was greeted by 2+ employees. The atmosphere is very fun and active; I wouldn't select this salon for a "relaxing" experience, at least not during peak hours. I was notified there would be a 30 minute wait and it really only ended up being about 20 minutes. This is a VERY busy salon, but I didn't get the feeling of being rushed at all! My tech was Le, and he did a great job with my Pink and White set. He didn't burn me or cut me once, though my past experiences at other salons did make me a little jumpy whenever I felt the drill get warm. I feel a bit bad, but in retrospect I'm sure he's used to it. He shaped my nails very well and the thickness is uniform throughout the entire manicure. I love that it's thick enough to reinforce the strength of my natural nails underneath, but not so thick that I notice it. I got the feeling from a lot of the other clients there that the salon enjoys a lot of really positive relationships with those they serve. Many were greeted by name and shared jokes that I didn't understand, but I'm sure made sense to whomever they applied to. Lots of laughing and smiles! I didn't get any special nail artistry done, but I think I might after my next fill! They even have a punch-card, so your loyalty pays off! Admittedly, I haven't looked at mine yet to know if it's a discount or a free service. I usually forget they exist. Oops. The only things I would change (that I noticed): ** The drill tips used to file down the natural nail in preparation for acrylic was used between various clients. These are pieces that cannot be sterilized via fluid or autoclave as their primary component is cardboard. Each client is given a Ziplock baggie with their own file and buffing square already, so I would be much more comfortable if those drill tip covers used on my actual nails were also for one client only. The metal ones that only touch the acrylic and can be sterilized I don't care about. ** The tech didn't push back my cuticles as a step in preparing my natural nails for acrylic. I know it's not a HUGE deal, but I have had bad luck with lifting in the past, and pushing the cuticles back does help the acrylic adhere completely to the nail and create a seal against outside debris/water. I will probably push my own cuticles back the day before planning my next fill, but it'd be nice to not have to worry about it. Other than that, the facilities appeared clean and I did see employees doing sanitation on the pedicure chairs/tubs, so I don't have any concerns about that. I ALWAYS bring my own pumice buffer for spa pedicures, so I rarely look at whether those things are reused anyway. They DO offer them for sale, though! read more

I have been going to Julie since March. I get acyrlic fills every 2 weeks and pedicures once a month. 2 weeks ago she wanted to put on a full set. I just went ahead and did a fill. Good thing because I noticed a spot on my nail. Julie said it was water damage. And then she filled it. Either way she should have not filled or a full set. She said next time get a full set there lifting. Beside the point she should have not filled them at all and told me it was fungus. Last Friday my nail popped off and I seen the spot. Called to cancel went to another salon and they told me ot was fungus and they took off my acrylics. I have another spot that appeared since 2 weeks ago. I talk to a pharmacist also said was fungus. Another nail salon my daughter went to to get pedicures also said the same thing fungus. While we were there. My daughter has fungus on her toe from True Nail Salon. Beware I dont believe there is as clean as they seem. And then they can't even tell you that you have fungus. Yeah keep filling and new acrylic sets to make it worse. That's all they care about. They clearly dont care about the customers nails. Julie just would have kept putting them on. When I went to get my old acrylics off the other salon said they weren't put on right. That's why I had fungus. A little too late to tell me I needed a full set. My daughter and I will never be back! Very disappointed and hurt! Especially when you trust them! Never again! read more

Very good experience. I'm in town on vacation and wearing sandals everyday had my feet in horrible shape. I talked my sister and niece into pedicures but couldn't find anywhere near the house with good yelp reviews. We googled and took a chance on TruElegance. Vicky Swa and Linda were very personable yet professional. Price was a bit high for a basic ($25) but it includes a salt scrub.We also got the callus remover treatment ($5) I'm used to a little more prep before the scraping and scrubbing but it was still adequate. they did give us the new files and smoothing blocks used during the service (they ask you to bring them back for your use or get charged $ 1 which is strange but understandable) read more

I learned of this nail shop from an acquaintance who referred me to a specific nail technician. I called a week and a half in advance and made an appointment for 5:45 pm. I got there a few minutes early. The shop was quite busy. 45 minutes AFTER I had arrived, another technician came over to confirm what I was there for (nail art with gel nails). They didn't say it will be a few minutes or anything. I sat there for another 15 minutes but saw the nail technician that I had scheduled my appointment with walk over a begin someone's pedicure. They knew I was there and that I had an appointment that was now an hour overdue. I walked out. As I drove away, the nail technician came out of the shop to stop me. I kept driving. My phone then rang as she tried to call me. I was not going to go back after already waiting an hour. When I got home I checked my phone for a voice mail as it appeared a message had been left. There was no message of apology and no request to make things right. The person had simply hung up when they reached my voice mail. Very, very poor costumer service in my book. I felt I had been very patient waiting but an hour was simply too long. No apology was worse. read more

Truelegance is a great nail salon. They do a fantastic job at fresh and trendy nail designs and offer a really wide variety of polish colors. The polish job is one of the best I have had. The techs are very detailed and make sure you are getting what you want. The salon itself it pretty standard but is clean and well run. I tried this place three times, trying to give them the benefit of doubt since they are so close to my home. Unfortunately I have to go back again because the nails I just got done 3 days ago have a broken. Now this has happened all three times after I've visited the shop and each time I tried a different nail tech. So it must be the product they are using for them not to last even a week. By the way they are not very friendly, no hello, how are you, may I get you something to drink. I mean nothing at all friendly about this place that would make you want to come back. Except the one tech Julie. She was nice. The place is very dusty. They refuse to turn on the ventilation system. All and all, its not about service here, just trying to make a quick buck. If you don't mind being gag to death from all the nail dust in the air, the non existing customer service and the and bad products, this is the place for you. I went to this salon 3 weeks ago after reading several reviews. The first time I went I was quite pleased with my shellac mani with design. I decided to make a 2nd appointment and bring my daughter who had never been here. We had an appointment and when we walked in there was absolutely no where to sit. All of the employees looked exhausted. They barely acknowledged we had walked in and didn't give us a time line on when we would be helped. We waited a half hour. When someone said they had been sitting there for an hour we decided to walk out and will not be back anytime too soon. They really need to get organized and not overbook. read more

Best and favorite nail salon! They always listen to my nail design ideas and try to do them as best as they can and they always achieve what i wanted. I like that they make it kind of a community style salon. Most salons have the nail techs taking in another language to each other completely ignoring the person they are working on, but at Truelegance they talk to everyone in the salon and customers talk to each other as well. I always send friends their way when they want a nice unique manicure/pedicure. read more

I really like this place because the employees are very nice and talented. They can do any design you want! I also like them because they speak english and I don't have to strain my brain trying to understand them!! However, they are very unorganized. Always getting interrupted to answer the phone or greet people coming in. Turning my 30 min manicure into an hour manicure. The decor is hit and miss. Nothing matches, doesn't look good. Even if you have an appt, you have to wait...and The last two times i've gone, ive had to wait at least an hour when im told its a 30 min wait. They need more staff!! read more

I was referred here by 2 of my co-workers. The first time I went in the service I received was good, my co worker and I went in to get 2 full sets, we did have to wait for a little bit but it wasn't bad. We both scheduled a fill for 4/14/18 at 12pm, this time Kenny did my fill, he did an amazing job, I was very pleased with him that I scheduled an appointment to return in 2 weeks 4/28 at 11:30am. My co worker left after I did and she also scheduled a fill with Kenny on 4/28 at 10:30. Upon my co worker scheduling her appointment she found out that the girl scheduled my appointment 4 weeks out instead of 2 weeks out, she however she changed it for me. No big deal right? fast forward to today, I show up to my appointment at 11:30am and I am told that there are no records of me ever coming here. Instead of apologizing to me for THEIR mistake, I start getting interrogated, what days had I gone what times were my appointments for, every date or time I would give them they could not seem to find any record of my co worker or my self ever going in. The girl that came out to talk to me never once apologized, after telling her that I drove from the other side of town to come get my nails done her response to me was "Well we can work you in around 12:40 but it wouldn't be with Kenny because you didn't have an appointment" WOSRT COSTUMER SERVICE! If you do come here and schedule an appointment MAKE SURE THEY WRITE IT DOWN! I will never be coming here again!! read more
