First time coming to this nail salon but I brought my partner here to get pedicures and they were amazing! We got the "pomegranate pedicure" which was about $55 a person but honestly with how much it came with I thought the price was fair! There was hot towels, pomegranate scrub, paraffin wax treatment, callous scrub, hot stone massage, enzyme lotion and so much massage!! The products were good quality and really made a difference! I also got a gel pedicure with mine and my nail tech helped me find the perfect color and did a very good job with shaping and nail/cuticle care! They have nice massage chairs and offered us drinks when we sat down! We didn't have an appointment but called before hand to see if they had availability and were able to sit together as soon as we arrived! It was a weekday early morning when we went tho so I'm not sure how busy they are during off work hours. Overall very clean and professional will go back! read more

Overall, I had a good experience getting a regular (not shellac) manicure and pedicure at Oma Nail Studio. The orange pedicure was great. They did a nice job with the scrubs and massage. I didn't feel rushed or like they were hurrying through the treatment. It was very relaxing. I was disappointed by the manicure. The work itself on my nails was very good. The issue I had was that the manicure was given while I was getting a pedicure, and it wasn't handled well. I didn't get any hand soaking, she just trimmed my cuticles dry. She put lotion on my hands and painted my nails. I guess I was just expecting a little bit more from the service. As you can see from my previous review, I've been coming to Oma for a while. However, much of what I enjoyed about the salon when it first opened doesn't appear to be the reality any longer. What was originally a beautiful, clean salon is looking like it has seen better days. The walls are scuffed, the center island always has junk, boxes, fast food containers, etc all over it. And the stations themselves are dirty and dusty. I got an acrylic full set today. While I'm generally happy with how the nails turned out, for $50 I should not have to go home and fix things like my natural nails being visible on the sides of the acrylic. Additionally, while my hand was under the lamp my finger touched something wet on the counter. My nail tech looked at it and ignored it, so I figured it was just water or something. Nope, it was gel that was cured on to my skin! I didn't noticed until I got in my car that it was all over my hands! This experience came after my last time visiting with my mom when I got us both pedicures. Although we were there in the middle of the day and the only ones in the salon, we were weirdly being pressured to leave less than 10 minutes after our nails were painted and definitely not dry. I am super disappointed with my experience with Oma Nail Studio. I am fairly new to the area and have been looking around for newer places to go get my nails done. I recently went on vacation and got my nails done on 3/10. I decided to do a full set of dip and a design and was very impressed at first.... until I got home. Not even a couple hours after I returned home, one of the tips of my nails broke off. I went back to Oma Nails the next day to have them fix, free of charge. About two hours later, ANOTHER NAIL breaks off at the tip. I returned the following day to have it fixed, as I was about to leave on vacation. The studio badgered me with questions like "Do you do heavy lifting at work? What were you doing so aggressively?" rather than taking any responsibility. I kept my mouth shut, they fixed my second nail for free, and I was on my way. It is now a mere two weeks later and THREE MORE NAILS have broken off. I will never be returning to Oma Nails. I'm a first timer, as I'm only in Omaha for a month. I called and made an appointment same day for a signature pedicure and dip manicure. The staff is friendly, and there are plenty of nail colors to choose from. Both services took about an hour and a half. There are plastic shields between you and the manicure tech, but chairs are not sanitized between guests, and they do not alternate stations. There is hand sanitizer at the front desk, and they request you wash your hands when you first walk in. Proper mask wearing was not enforced amongst guests or workers. For example, my pedicure tech moved her mask below her nose when she started my pedicure and was walking around without a mask when I was getting my manicure. I'm not sure if they are serving drinks because I was not offered one. I deducted a star for COVID precautions and general cleanliness. I would have preferred the salon be cleaner, as my pedicure chair had crusties and dust on it, and the manicure station was very dusty and not cleaned before I sat down. Overall my nails look great, and I'm glad I was able to get an appointment same day! read more

I've had a different nail technician every time and they're all great, which isn't something I've experienced at any other salon in town. We showed up and curtains are drawn, open sign isn't on but the door was unlocked. We were the only ones there and three people are sitting out front. The gal that was sitting closest to the door that we informed the sign wasn't on and our wish for mani/pedi just jumped into a pedi chair and got on her phone. I have been getting gel manicures on my nails for years, wherever I go, I've always had trouble with my nails splitting, cracking and breaking or the gel flaking off. I've had fake nails because of those issues. Since I have been going to Oma, my nails have grown in strong and healthy. So I have been going to Oma for about a year and a half and used to LOVE it and recommend to everyone! However, the last three times I've gone, my experience has been subpar. They're just not as careful as they used to be. They no longer take their time and seem to rush resulting in nails lacking integrity. My last two sets have chipped after a week. They didn't shellac the top coat of my last two sets, but did clear coat instead. What's most annoying, is my last three times the nail didn't have me rinse my hands at all. It's gross. Why would I want a manicure that I leave with dusty, dirty hands? I will say Emily and Ha rock and give you a perfect set. The issues I've listed - did not have those experiences with either of them. I think it's mostly the girl in booth 4 (forgive me as I don't know her name). I'd avoid her if you can. In fact, my friend got her when we went together a couple months ago (her first time there) and her dip came off within 7 days. If you get booth 4 - which you will as a walk in because she is always available (for a reason obviously) ask to wait for a different tech. Ask specifically for Ha or Emily. They always look excellent! Very clean, well kept. The polishes are organised with care and meticulous color coding which makes it easy to decide what you want and they're very informative on all the options they have.
