The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic. They let me fully nerd out over some skulls, which honestly made my day. You can tell there's real care and expertise behind everything in the shop. There was also a living dog and bearded dragon there that they let me pet. The plants are always healthy and beautiful, which isn't always easy to find in specialty spaces like this. The oddities themselves are high quality and thoughtfully curated. It can seem a little expensive at first, but the quality absolutely makes it worth it. I bought a heteropteryx bug today and it's stunning. Every visit makes me want more. My long-term goal is to fill my biology classroom with pieces like this, and this shop is pure inspiration.
