Lounge and learn

Enjoyed my float experience. A very zen atmosphere. Definitely worth experiencing. The only downside for me was the tank became musty and I didn't want to ruin my experience. I was able to relax but for those who do not like small compact spaces it might difficult to work through. They gave us the opportunity to experience the float spa oxygen bar. Thanks for the hospitality Zander

Very relaxing! So many good health benefits! I'm a mermaid and love the water! I really enjoy the chance to get away from the world! All the worries and cares of the day, melt away...

This is a super MUST try for your Sedona trip. Make sure to call and make an appointment because they only have a few pods. I was a little nervous as I never even heard of a Float Spa until about 3 weeks before my trip. I was on Groupon looking for things to do while I was in Sedona and I was intrigued and in the market to try something new so I bought it. I called and booked an appointment once I had already arrived, it was off season so not too crowded all around. During the busier months spring and fall you will most likely want to call farther in advance. Doesn't look like too much on the outside and has it's own private shared parking lot. Once you step in you are transported to a spa experience almost instantaneously. Wear flip flops because you will switch to their old navy flops to walk around within the facility. I was given a small tour and sat down to watch a quick introduction video. Then I was escorted to my private room and the process was explained. This is where I had a few problems. I was told to wash/rinse before I got in and then the music would start to let me know my time had begun. I was told that you could control whether the music was on or off. I was also told that you could control whether the lights were on or off. I could not control either. I was then told that the music would come back on or change when it was time to get out and that never happened either. I ended up over my time because of these malfunctions in the room/pod. There are only two pods that I am aware of so if someone books a 2 hour float or something.. could back up the line. So please call for an appointment! That coupled with I could hear talking outside of the pod/room a little was a bit distracting for a bit, had I really been going full on I would've had to get out and say something. Only other thing I would say is that they should change to more environmentally friendly items. The float experience itself was amazing. I practice yoga so it wasn't too out of the norm for me, but it was an amazing experience that I plan to take part in again returning to my home area! After showering (make sure you wash really good, the salt crusts up and dries in a not so flattering manner!) and getting dressed you come back out to the real world feeling like you just received a massage. The level of physical relaxation is phenomenal! I chose to take part in the oxygen bar for an additional $5 or $10 too (lemongrass) was delightful. I even bought one of their T-shirts because the quality is sooo comfortable and soft. Definitely recommend!

This is a MUST try for your sedona trip. Words cannot properly express the experience of this spa soak. I already want to go back again tonight! See my pictures. It's a peaceful beautiful setting. Clean. Organized. Calming. Jameson was an excellent facilitator and should totally get promoted. I came here for the first time on my birthday in April 2018. The energy and warmth of the decor is inviting. The price is a good value (there is also a first timers $59 per hour rate). I loved it. The float itself is 60 minutes in your own private room. They play music and you can adjust the lighting. I went total dark and total silent. I had strange and wonderful meditative experiences. Afterwards, the oxygen scents are divine (eucylyptus was my choicd). After, the tea was delicious. They have hair dryers and a restoration room for when you're done. I highly recommend this place! Thanks Jameson!

Your float pod, containing 10 inches of water and hundreds of pounds of Epsom salt

My mom and I came here while on a small get-away. The employees were very friendly and the salon was incredibly clean. It was also very easy to get a session in. Pods- filled with hundreds of pounds of salt, you effortlessly float. There is music but you cannot control it. Some songs would blast as others would be hard to hear. This made it a little hard to relax. Be careful not to touch your face. I kept getting salt in my eyes making it yet again hard to relax. Time- you have 5 minutes to change, shower and get settled in, similar to tanning. You are floating in the pod for 1 full hour. To me I would prefer to do it for 30 minutes, but when you are paying the high price, I didn't want to get out. Price- $80 for one 60 minute session. They offer monthly packages, good for 1 or 2 floats a month depending on what you pay for. I'm an athlete and I'm very familiar to muscle recovery. I didn't get anything out of this treatment. I personally would rather get a 60 minute massage. I'm giving this buisness 4 stars only because I didn't get any positive outcomes from this technique. Every individual body is different, and I know some people love the float technique.

Stellar salt lamp display to set the mood!

Ask the Community - True REST Float Spa

Is there a minimum age requirement for floating and the oxygen bar?

Minimum age is 14 years old. Any clients younger than that can usually not sit still long enough in the Pod and occasionally may get salt water in their eyes

Is this safe to do while pregnant?

More than safe it's fantastic. We have many pregnant clients that float to take the baby weight off or for back pain or in the last trimester they swear you can hear the baby's heartbeat inside our float pod

We both are so relaxed afterward and then get some great energy from the oxygen bar before heading out for dinner.

Red light therapy (RLT) is a treatment that uses low-wavelength red light to reportedly improve your skin’s appearance, such as reducing wrinkles, scars, redness and acne. It’s also touted to treat other medical conditions. A float tank, also known as a floatation tank, a sensory deprivation tank, or an isolation tank, is a tank filled with approximately 1,000lbs of Epsom salt and water heated to the outer skin temperature. The high salt concentration of the tank makes it easy for you to float on your back with the back of your head partially underwater. Tanks tend to be large so you can stretch fully without touching its roof, floor, or walls.
