The lights were on, the windows open so people could see us if they were outside, there was one candle and the roses were on top on the bath and on the table. For $700 for a total of 90 mins, I would think it would be a little grander than this. I wrote down that we were celebrating getting married in the questionnaire and we were not offered anything. From other spas I've been to where I received birthday massages and an engagement massage that had a little cheese or truffle plate that said "happy birthday" or "congrats" which was such a nice, small gesture. We were also told that we'd be given 5 minutes to dry off and change to what we needed to for the massage after the bath. The door was knocked about 3 times asking if we were ready after about 2 minutes and I felt more stressed than relaxed. There were also no snacks offered. This has the potential to be a nicer experience with much needed customer service improvements.

I rarely took advantage of any spa facilities whenever I stayed at a hotel (if available), but if there was a pool (indoors or outdoors), I easily gravitated to that! Was I all for this Hilton spa in Sedona!? PURCHASE Although there was a gift/merchandise shop, there wasn't anything I needed - 'nuff said. EXPERIENCE I briefly explored the indoor gym and hopped onto the treadmill for a light 30-minute job before I made my way to the pool, grabbed a patio lounger, donned my earplugs and swim goggles, and took the plunge in my own lane. This water baby was as happy as a clam as I stroked back and forth, flipped at the walls, and enjoyed the 82° water temperatures (apparently they kept it at this level all of the time!) while the air temperatures started at a balmy mid-80s in the morning. An hour of swimming each morning really got my day going and was ready for the world. Thank goodness for the pool! SERVICE Each day I visited, I was warmly greeted at the front desk by a different lovely young woman who asked to see my room key, had me sign in, and then patiently provided me with a rundown of all the spa had to offer, etc. I swore, each woman's voice was like an ASMR session that put me at ease and nearly to sleep! Once that was all done, I was left to my own devices. Towels were readily available for whatever usage. We both really liked that they used hot compresses/towels on our feet and backs, and put eye pillows on us when we faced up - we haven't had this before in massages.
