We received several bids for doing a large re-roofing job on our home and guest house which included tearing off old roof, removing gutters, and applying a new composition shingle roof. True Roof came back with one of the lower bids and my interaction with the estimator gave me confidence that they knew their business. True Roof nicely worked around some unexpected events that required some scheduling changes. When they started the job, they were quick and professional. They protected the perimeter of the home very well. The only negative impact was from the delivery truck that needed to drive onto part of a lawn to get the materials onto our roof. That left some dents in the grass. Even then, they brought in several sheets of plywood to do their best to protect the lawn where the truck needed to drive. Our roof, fascia, and eaves required several repairs which the team performed expertly. They meshed the new materials with the existing trim very nicely. I watched closely the techniques and materials used on the roof and it was all high end GAF The final result of the roof was very nice. It should outlive me by the looks of it. read more

First of all let me say I've been in the Real Estate business for 50+ years. True Roof did an inspection on my home in Lodi around 06/2019. Odis did the inspection and rather than just inspect and leave, he came to my door, showed me pictures with explanations and my options including a very competitive bid to replace. About a year later I sold my home and called the office to see if last years bid was still valid ( fully expecting to hear materials had gone up ) I was wrong bid was still good. I moved out to N.C. and gave the contract to True Roofing. Like all good contracts there are areas to cover themselves for additional problems not evident/visible in the original inspection. So house is empty, I'm in N.C. waiting for the call to tell me about the new problems and added costs. Wrong again! People this is when many contractors rip you off: roof is off your out of state, I've seen this play out many many times over the years. The first thing that struck me was the professionalism. the next thing that struck me was the follow up. I had a roof leak. I had a bucket catching water in the living room and several tarps on the roof. After the storms passed I called. They came quickly and repaired where a previous roofer had put flashing on incorrectly. but then they came back and shot water and found I still had a problem. they fixed it and had one of their guys repair the sheetrock that had been destroyed by the water coming in. the price was reasonable i thought. we had an absolute down pour the other day. first real test. no leak. True Roof came through for us. We were having trouble finding a roofer all fall and winter. A friend told us about her excellent roofer so we called True Roof. True Roof completed the job and we couldn't be happier. They removed old gutters/fascia boards and replaced with new stained fascia. They fixed a very challenging peaked gable and did the finishing touches like painting flashing to match. Very happy to be dried in with a beautiful GAF roof. Very easy to work with. On the appointed day, Tony and the workers arrived on time, worked efficiently, showed me what they had done, cleaned up before they left, then they returned the next day to finish up. I also received photographs of all the work they did They actually did a lot more for me than we agreed to, but the price they quoted did not go up. I bought the house in June of 2024 and True Roof performed inspections and repairs. Seven months later in had a leaking roof vent that was not part of the original repairs. I contacted Otis and they came out and caulked the leak to prevent anymore leaks while it was raining. Once the rain stopped, they came out and replaced all four vents for $45.00 no questions asked. True Roof installed our new roof last July of 2023. They did a great job and left our home in a neat and tidy condition. As of February 2024 the roof is performing great against the high winds and heavy rain we have recently experienced. We opted to install the charcoal colored Grand Sequoia® Reflector Series shingles and I think they look just great.
