Regal Roofing was recommend by my niece who had hired them for their roof repair. I initially called Ezekiel to ask for an estimate. He showed up on time on a mutually agreed time. He made the assessment himself, spotted the problems then gave me an estimate on the spot. He then texted me a contract which I Docusigned. We set up an appointment for March 31. On March 29 Ezekiel called me if I was available Monday, March 30 for the roofing job. He said there's a rain in the forecast starting Tuesday through Thursday and he wanted to get the work done before the rain. Of course I agreed because I was worried too for the rain because it will cause some leaks inside the house again. So they came and worked on the roof today from about 10 am to 4pm. He sent 4 guys for the job. After the job was completed, he sent me pictures taken by the workers and I compared them to the pictures he had taken when he made the assessment himself. My husband and I are happy for the service they had done. They also cleaned our gutters!! They cleaned the surroundings of the house for the debris and dust. Very Satisfied customer here!!! Texted him and basically was ignored and no reply. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Not sure what company doesn't have the decency to respond back. Got to be wary who you let in someone's home. Extremely efficient company. Called the owner and he sent his brother over to inspect and give an estimate. Brother was on time and thorough. He gave me the estimate on the spot and gave me a day the next week that they could do the work. Two workers were there at 8:00 AM and worked until 4:00 to fix the several areas that needed fixing. Saw the photos of the work done and the brother came over the next day to collect the payment. Reasonable for the time and work done. No complaints. Good value. It's nice to find a company that is both responsive and professional in what they do. I called the day before Christmas Eve due to a leak in my concrete tile roof..... these guys came out Christmas Eve exactly when they said - made sure roof was ok during holiday and scheduled repair for the next week ( had company putting up Christmas lights who broke about a dozen tiles)...... again the next Friday ( day after New Year's Day - they arrived / changed all broken tiles checked all and even cleaned the gutters in the rain. We needed a part of our roof replaced where a tree had damaged it. They were efficient and arrived on time for the estimate which I believe was fair for the work that needed to be done. They changed the original date to a day earlier which was okay but I did have to change my schedule to accommodate them. There was no communication from the crew when they were done and they left quite a mess. Sawdust was all over the yard, scraps of roofing materials were in my planters and patio, and I had to sweep up roofing nails and wash everything down before I could let my dog out safely. I received an invoice in my email a couple of days later with the ability to pay them directly through quick books for the original quote, which was very convenient and efficient. They did the work and my husband said it was fine. I'm just a bit bugged about the mess and lack of communication but maybe I'm expecting too much. read more

Regal Roofing is absolutely one of the best in the business! I'm in Stockton & I got an estimate a few years ago but slept on replacing my roof at that time (don't be like me). Fast forward to January when the crazy storms damaged my irreparable roof. I called Ezekiel & he updated the quote for an overlay. Searched around for a few estimates to compare but there was no comparison to the price & professionalism. Due to the weather delays & hectic schedule it took a few weeks for roof replacement but it was SO worth the wait. Materials were delivered flawlessly a few days before start (rain delays). On start date, they had PERMITS up before they did anything!! Very professional, love it! They showed up with 2 truck full of workers. The 1st day they completed more than half the job. Full completion was 2 days. They advised me every step of the way, did an excellent job in record time, and cleaned up after completion. Ezekiel even came to my house to check things out while the job was ongoing. The job was fully complete once the city came to inspect the roof 2 days later. Passed inspection with flying colors. I wish I could recommend this business but my experience with Ezequiel was unpleasant. On a professional level, he did not meet my expectations. His work style is sloppy, careless, and disorganized. To start, it's important to get the client's information correct on proposals prior to sending it out. This should've been my first sign this would be a messy and difficult experience. First, he sent it to the wrong email address so I never got it. There was some back and forth on Yelp, me: are you sure you sent it to xyz?? him: Yes. I gave him an alternate email address and he forwarded me his other emails he sent. Come to realize he had made a typo all along, yet had insisted he had it right and there's no way he could be wrong. He couldn't take an extra 30 seconds to confirm they matched the first time, and as a result, 4-5 days passed before I was able to see the actual proposal. On it, my name was wrong, it had someone else's phone number on it, and my property address was incorrect. I asked actually 2-3 times to please update it with the proper info and even redlined the proposal with the corrections to make it easier for him. Even now, it's not 100% accurate so he doesn't care about details like this, just getting his money the important part. Prior to starting the work, I spoke with him and asked for photos to be taken during, and after the work was completed. I explained to him that it's not my primary residence and that's why I was adamant on photos. He assured me that I didn't need to be present during the work and that he takes photos all the time and so I trusted that. To my surprise, I received an invoice via email, so that was his way of telling me the job was done. I thought there was still a week left because the work dates weren't clear to me even after I asked. I feel that it is unreasonable to ask a client to pay without sending a single photo, like he agreed. Remember, that's not my primary residence so I'm not there often. When I emailed him back to ask where are the photos? Apparently that was outside of his scope of work bc it took him a few days to send me just 4 photos of the same thing in different views. But there was much more work that had been done. His proposal had 2 options, one to fix the main issue of the leak and the other option was additional work that was not urgent but would need to be done eventually. I figured I would have both done. He emailed me back saying, I'm not sure what you're trying to see. WOW. I reminded him of our conversation we had. He begrudgingly sent a few more, but still not capturing the full work that was performed and quite honestly, I couldn't tell if that was old, new or fixed in the pics. He said he'd send his foreman out there to take some for me. But if it was done properly the first time, then he shouldn't have needed to go out there. The foreman called me when he arrived at the property. He was a nice guy and reasonable. He said to me, I will take a picture of everything that was done and will send the photos to Ezequiel. In my mind I immediately thought, great, given his prior history, it will be days until I see something. Sure enough, some days passed and I received a few more. At this point I was frustrated because I was pulling teeth with him. I can't with people who do half done work like this and are satisfied with providing bits and pieces. I called him to find out what was going on and he seemed offended that I even asked. He began to argue with me on the phone and had the gall to say that I have trust issues when he told me at the beginning that he always take photos, and was now acting surprised like my request was brand new. He continued to argue with me and said he had already been out to the property 3-4 times. He said his foreman had already gone out there and was like, "you want a picture of every little thing that was done". I said actually, "I spoke with your foreman and that's exactly what he said he'd do. I expected a photo of say, the damaged gutter and this is the new one that was put in. These are the areas w/the broken tiles on the roof, here's that same area with the new tiles. Here's the downspouts that were put in. It's not rocket science and shouldn't be difficult to do. It should only take a few minutes but apparently he's too good for that and it's beneath his paygrade. Additionally, I still don't know what my damaged gutters looked like because he never sent me a photo but apparently they were broken. Same w/my downspouts, apparently those needed replacement too. I got tired of pulling teeth with this man and do not recommend them. read more

Can't recommend Regal Roofing Solutions enough, we were very impressed with the way the owner Ezequiel conducts his business. He always got back to us right away, good contractor to work with, he was professional, conscious and courteous. Other roofing contractor were price gouging, however Ezequiel's quote including a better quality underlayment than the other quotes that only quoted 30lb felt, he used top of the line composition shingles and his quote was still the lowest quote of all. The lowest quote did not mean substandard work, quite the opposite-it meant better quality products, better workmanship with integrity for a fair and much lower cost. Every day the crew cleaned up their work areas well. They worked hard everyday and completed the job with no problems or issues. At the end of the job, they used a rolling ball magnet to pick up stray nails. He also provided gutters at a reasonable cost. They did not show up at scheduled time nor did they call. They said they showed up but we were there and so we know, obviously, this is not true (or they arrived late and didnt bother to reach out). So apparently their phone or fingers didnt work as they could not call us or communicate. Its so hard to find reliable contractors but step one is to communicate, and if this company cant do that then how will they be during the job.
