My friend is a jazz vocalist. Her friends were playing, it was by the pool, on the beach. Who can say no? I listened to the band, she got to sing a few numbers while I drank a glass of wine. Initially around 5ish, the area was crowded. We sat on lounge chairs until a table opened. Didn't mind, the ambiance was great. Ordered the black bean hummus appetizer. Served with taco chips. Tasty. I'll start with the good: the room is fairly nice, on the small side tho even "superior king", which gives you your own patio (albeit not much privacy from neighbors), the food at the restaurant is pretty decent. They play the loudest music possible for 20 people at the pool all night, meanwhile literally can't relax in your room because it's so loud. The service is terrible, we made requests that were simply ignored. Too many stories of bad and incompetent service to list. Kimpton is better. read more

A group of 5 of us went to lunch today. We sat at the indoor bad. A very disappointing visit. Slow service. Wrong food. Cold food. Stale and over cooked burger. Many of us waited or 10 minutes for drink refills. Was not the bartenders fault as he had the bar. 4 tables, plus service bar. Bartender took off 2 of the meals and apologized. But the manager who was doing inventory and not helping him, did not even come over and apologize. Very poorly run. To be doing inventory while your staff is getting their butt's kick, not a good impression. Won't return, and definitely will not recommend. On a day trip with my girlfriend, we decided to stop by the restaurant located outside by the pool and have lunch. I understand that this is a beach resort and of course it's going to be over price.. I'm always fine with paying a bit more for excellent food or just the experience but this was ridiculous. My salmon and tuna was 90% avocado. I literally just paid for a few pieces of fish and a whole avocado for $20. Can you be any more cheap and stingy with the fish!?!?! we also ordered a side of fritters that my girlfriend enjoyed, a Coke and two glasses of sparkling wine for $80. Definitely way overpriced and not worth it.. You would think I was eating at a five star restaurant. Your hotel on the outside definitely seems outdated and the inside just looks basic. Overall, the outside bar is convenient if staying there but I'm sure the surrounding restaurants would be a better alternative. read more

Dinner reservations made a week in advance for Valentine's Day it was Fixed price but no indication of price . They seated us next to kitchen door. No one else was in restaurant the whole time we were there. No price advised $200 pp 40% added on for all of the taxes. Not including drinks. 5 courses 3 separate shooter counted as 3 courses. Chviche, micro greens, lobster-hearts of palm soup. A 3oz filet served at cold in the middle temp with no other enlistments. We were never asked how we wanted our steak cooked. Dessert was one chocolate apiece. We chose NOT to go to the bar afterwards. There was excellent service, but we were the ONLY people in the place. read more

The pool bar and outdoor area are amazing. Tables right along the edge of the beach and you can get full service there. No matter where you sit, whether inside the restaurant, or just outside by the pool, you have access to all of the menus. Make sure you check out the Estefan menu because it is delicious. I've had the Ropa Vieja multiple times and it definitely beats out all others. It's also a dog friendly hotel which makes it even better. Your pet will not be allowed to roam the hotel or go to the pool area, but if you would like to eat dinner with your pet there is a patio area in front of the hotel for you to enjoy together. read more

Great beach resort with wonderful staff and pool/beach area. From the moment we checked in, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is obviously choice, being right on the beach, and the view from our room was wonderful. The pool has plenty of loungers to accommodate many guests, or you could also head out to the beach instead. The poolside bar has a great atmosphere, but the service could definitely be a bit faster. Spent 9 days at Costa d'Este and it was a mixed experience. It's absolutely beautiful and gorgeous and I will definitely go back. But on two days we put the do not disturb sign on the door that we did not want housekeeping. And when we got back to our room the door was open! Like unlocked and not shut completely. Somebody had been in the room and then left without closing the door all the way. It wasn't cleaned so why did they go inside? Nothing was disturbed I don't think but it's creepy to have your room entered twice and then left open twice. They gave us one day refund I believe. That was nice but honestly, it should have been more. But these unfortunate incidences aside it was a perfect week. Absolutely perfection. It's boutique and the service was lovely. The food was so delicious and the location was perfect for walking or even using their bicycles to tool around the town. Highly recommend. Don't know what to think about the room issue but everything else was gorgeous and I will definitely go back. Beats the heck out of Miami. read more

This hotel is super nice and exactly as advertised. I had a wonderful time staying here. It's beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. The on-site restaurants are the best in the area. We dined at both The Wave and had lunch at the pool bar. since rhey don't have thwir own Yelp page I have to pur the review here. The pool area is very nice and you can access and walk out to the beach easily. We dined at the Pool Bar, where I had a delicious frozen cocktail. The shrimp Sautee with white rice was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that it was just thrown in the bowl, and sauce was everywhere when it was given to me. My husband had roast pork, which equally was well made, tasty, but thrown in the bowl that all the pool orders are placed in. Anyhow, I loved the restaurant, and service at The Wave was also great. My husband and I love Costa d'Este. It's a very cute boutique hotel with friendly, personable service. They graciously and generously upgraded us to an ocean view room twice for my birthday. You literally feel like you are right on the beach given the hotel's proximity to it. During my last and most recent trip in Nov 2024, in addition to upgrading us to an oceanfront room, they also gifted us wine and a cheese plate which was so also so incredibly kind and generous. We can't wait to come back as it has become one of our favorite places to spend my birthday. They are also super dog friendly which is amazing too! Cutting to the chase, this is not a "4 star resort," that the website claims to be. Pro's The location is great, it's right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. View from balcony: if you get an Ocean view room, it is a great spot to hang out. If you're in the interior, the rooms looked cramped and loud from the noisy hotel A/C units. Con's We had a suite, probably the nicest room and it was dirty at check-in, visible grit on the floors, smudges on all glass, and dust bunnies on the TV cord, and elsewhere Check in is a disaster. No one popped out to help with our bags. The lobby was crowded, disorganized, and you have to weave through a drunken bar crowd to enter the hotel (more on that later) Check out is a disaster. Front desk/bell man didn't answer. I went down and the front desk lady had her head in the desk. Picked it up and actually said after hearing my room number "oh sorry, I saw you were calling, there was just too much going on" She then went on to point at luggage cart. So it was so it yourself! No bell man in sight... Training: staff are simply not adequately trained and it shows. Cleaning staff and beach staff copped attitudes with me. For example, I asked for 6 towels and the beach attendant said to me "oh, I grabbed 4, good enough, haha." For the price you pay to stay here, no, not good enough and not funny. The pool: it is a disaster zone. People coming off the beach with dogs, a not so elegant drunk zone, coolers rolling next to the pool. Oh yeah, and you won't get a spot. Towels and crap will be placed on all seating by 10am. No one from the staff checked who was coming in, if they were staying, they didn't promptly clean up leftover towels or check if people left. I think Vero Beach is very nice. This is NOT the place to stay... I cut 3 nights off my reservation and we went back to Disney before heading home... read more

So if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel, spotless, friendly, Oceanfront, this is your place. I loved that the rooms did not have carpet! It seems that all the rooms have balconies. I asked to upgrade to oceanfront when I arrived but they didn't have any available. My room didn't have a tub which is shown is some of the site photos but not a problem for me. The pool area was beautiful, great location. You can walk to great shopping and dining or dine at the hotel. It was very quiet, but busy if that makes sense. Room service is available, pets are welcome, small ones of course. The place was great. One add is bring a magnifying make up mirror if you need one, the hotel has everything else! read more

Finally see a guy flagged him down actually chased him down he said they r busy first come first serve. I said we see people after us served but no one looks our way. Really the answer is it's season they could care less if you ever come back. Hasn't changed since last time. Hotel is good for dogs my sis let her little pigs run all over the bed as I'm sure everyone does. I guess that's a plus but restaurant well if your food isn't amazing at least try to serve people! We ate at the main restaurant on Saturday night, June 29th, at 5:45pm. Our party of six was served by the most delightful and personable waitress, Cheyanne! I wish she was our daughter, or at least our daughter-out-law! My wife had the Skirt Steak, which was excellent; I had the BEST Short Ribs in VB since moving here in 2019. Everyone raved about the food, and with good reason. We were quite disappointed in the loudness of the dining room. You could barely hear the person next to you, and conversation was useless. Unfortunately, when the female keyboard entertainment began, it was just too loud except for raising our voices to extreme. The keyboard performer was not the level of entertainment I'd expect at a top shelf restaurant like this; She basically played arpeggios with her left hand and a single note melody with her right hand. It became pretty boring after a few simple songs like Over the Rainbow; Danny Boy; and the usual elevator type music. The fact that she only played arpeggios (broken chords), rather than shifting styles, chordal patterns, etc... left us wanting to escape. My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming to stay at Costa d'Este. As Vero locals, it's the best place around to be for a lovely local staycation when you don't have the time to venture out of town. As we checked in, we were greeted with warm smiles by the valet staff, Kevin and Tyler who were all too happy to help us with our things. We were too early to check in, so I gave the front desk staff my information and we were given arm bands to go enjoy the property while we waited. We went to the beach and the helpful beach staff saw us to a chair/umbrella (free of charge, included in the resort fee) set up with a view of the ocean that I've come to love so much in my years living here. We relaxed, ordered some drinks, and before we knew it, one of the kind beach staff brought us our room keys. After we went to our room, we came out and enjoyed the pool, read our books, and the front desk manager came out and asked us how our room was and if there was anything that she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The room was so nice and relaxing with a high floor view of the ocean that we didn't want to leave. We went out for dinner at one of the walkable local establishments and just enjoyed strolling Ocean Drive. Later that night after dark we were blessed to see turtles hatching on the beach. We didn't take pictures because we didn't want to disturb the little fellas making their journey to the ocean. We just watched and enjoyed. The next day, we took out some paddleboards and made went out to the Breconshire (local shipwreck that has been parked offshore for over 120 years) and my girlfriend hopped off the board with her mask and saw some fish and a sea turtle. We want back to the pool deck for the second half of the day and Jojo (so friendly!) by the pool got us set up for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. We ordered some Pina Coladas... probably the best I've had! After we were sun-roasted enough for the day, we headed back to the room to change for the evening and on our way out, we saw a Salsa dancing instructor teaching a group of guests how to salsa dance. Luckily, my girlfriend spared me from dancing in public this time, but everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun! After coming back, we soaked in the hot tub and just reflected on our all-too-short two night stay before checking out the next morning. Maribel and Greg at the front desk bid us farewell with smiles and asked us to come back and see them again soon. As a local Veroite, I can totally understand why people come from the surrounding cities to get away here. You get all of the style of Miami with all of the quiet of our charming little coastal town of Vero Beach. Many thanks to all the staff who helped make our stay so special. WOW this hotel is E V E R Y T H I N G! From the moment I checked in til the moment i left. Everyone is so kind, employees say hi as you walk by, if they can get to the door before you, they open it. just amazing customer service. They give you a glass of champagne when you check in, they didnt have any when i checked in so i got a free drink ticket ( which i enjoyed since im not a champagne person). My room was AMAZING but the view TAKES THE CAKE! Get the ocean view.. you wont regret it. you can hear the ocean from your room, the views were just amazing! The pool was so nice and so clean! The pool bar/restaurant is open late and so is the pool and Jacuzzi. Oh and the pool is HEATED. The towel concierge is awesome and the little frozen grapes are a nice treat while your in the hot sun! The bar staff makes sure your drinks are full as often as youd like and are very attentive! Main restaurant pretty good too! Make sure to see Brittany at the bar and Eileen at the towel concierge, give them a hug for me! The pool and beach are gorgeous, it's one of those places you'll have to take plenty of photos day and night. It's all around beautiful here. We normally come to the Costa every year for my birthday to have a little vacation not too far from home. But this trip was not the best experience we had at Costa. We arrived Saturday mid morning with our 6m old son and his grand parents. We had requested early check in due to the baby and his schedule. We didn't get into our room until almost 5pm which was very disappointing. Then when we arrived to our room the ac didn't barely work so our room was very warm our entire stay. Then Saturday they had this live music band from like 9-4pm. It was absolutely awful. It was so loud u could hear it in the restaurant, in your room, and on the beach. It was so loud and obnoxious. We travel from Miami to escape that type of fast moving lifestyle not to be apart of it at the resort. It has never been like that out of the 5 years we have been coming there. The food and service in the restaurant was okay but not top notch how it has been in past years. This place is definitely diminishing and attracting a different clientele. There was three people who made our trip good was Christine breakfast waitress from our morning. Trina another waitress we have had in the past and Joey who helped with some problems but he isn't a manager and did everything he could to help us have a manageable stay. I don't think I will be brining my family back to the Costa unfortunately. We will be looking for another beach front hotel. read more
