She was nervous so we stopped by so she could see the piercing area, not only did they show her the area but explained the process (i can't remember the veey sweet guy at the fronts, name.) We left out and came back a bit later. Serafino was the piercer when we came back. The patience he had with her and calmly cheered her on. He assured her they were moving at whatever pace she was comfortable with. When she was all set he asked her permission to begin. Just the whole experience was amazing. Thank you so much!

I got my first tattoo about a month ago by Jonathan, who was super professional, chill, conversational, etc. --aka everything I thought I was looking for in a tattoo artist. Got donuts at the consultation which was great for my diet, and he managed to capture my rather vague description of what I wanted the piece to look like. The actual process itself was a lot shorter than expected, which was great. The place is very sterile, clean, reasonably priced. Would definitely return if I ever wanted to get another tattoo!

I went in with a vague idea and told her to just put her own artistic spin on my tattoo. I came out beautiful. It was a tribute piece to my dad and she killed it. Even my dad, who is not a fan of tattoos, thought it was great. The most impressive part though was how well it healed. I've had tattoos done before and dealt with the oozing and bleeding. This one had almost no bleeding and no oozing at all. It was super clean, super fast, heaped beautifully and quickly. Amber will be doing all my tattoos going forward.

There were quite a few people in line a head of me so they took my name and number down to call me when it was my turn. While we were waiting we went next door to to pain some pottery. It was like an hour wait. I picked a design off of the flash sheet and Trevor got all set up and started tattooing me. He was very light handed and gentle. The tattoo turned out exactly as expected. It's been a week and the tattoo is healing fantastically. Trevor is normally by appointment only so I was excited to walk in and be able to get a piece of art. The whole studio has a chill vibe. It's clean and everyone was friendly. I can't wait to make an appointment for a larger piece.

For our first anniversary, he finally decided he wanted to get a tattoo with me....but we were only a couple days out and I did not want to do a walk in for a tattoo like this. I asked a couple other artists and they recommended me over to Rae. I looked at her work and loved it and hoped she could fit us in. I'm not sure what kind of miracle we had but Rae was INCREDIBLE. Starting from initial communication she was fantastic to work with. She came in on her day off for us (something I will never ask of her again haha!) but she made our anniversary so special. She's so cool, easy to talk to, and her art is freaking incredible. We literally cannot wait to come back and get our color added. I've already created a list of other pieces I want her to do, she's amazing. I also have gotten a small tattoo by Jo at a different shop before they came over to Cousin Paul's, but I wanted to give a shoutout to them because my brother and I both agree that Jo is the most gentle shader we have ever experienced in getting tattoos. The group of tattooers in this shop are top notch. They have snacks, drinks, and make you feel so welcome. And so many different styles of tattoo. I highly, highly recommend checking them out!
