When it was time to sign out and get his prescription, I asked the lady who was so ugly to the other employee what her name was, she said Rachel. The other 2 employees were sweet as could be, one was Catelyn and the other was Selena. This Rachel lady was horrible, not only did she treat these girls awful, she was talking about patients so load you could hear her clearly in the waiting room. She was also talking about one of the Doctors, I believe it was a foot doctor. Talking about how stupid and arrogant he was. This past week, I took my father in law back to this same office. This Rachel lady needs to be fired. She talks so much crap about patients after they leave the office, she treats these two young ladies horrible and talks crap about the Doctors. Those two girls need to file hostile work environment on Rachel. I plan on filing a complaint with the medical board for Rachel violating Hepa or at least have them investigate this office. She is going to ruin these doctors. We are looking for a facility to take my father in law. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Only option is to leave messages for the nurse who doesn't respond in a timely manner. I had to call several times to get lab results where I needed to take action. I would have never known I had several deficiencies and cause for concern because the staff and doctor don't care enough to call. The mailed results, which I never received, were the only form of correspondence I would have received. Thank God I care enough about my health to follow up. I guess once the claim was filed, I was just another number checked off their "to do" list. Others who attend this facility claim the doctor is "thorough". That may be the case but the staff is so horrendous that none of that really matters. A good doctor's office would follow up and explain the lab results, make sure you were aware of the proper next steps and schedule a follow up....you know, to monitor progress and make sure you got better. A terrible one would take your money, mail you test results that a normal person cannot interpret, and call the job done. You get the picture.

We all go to him and recommend him because of his excellent attention to our health and his ability to diagnose major health issues that are usually hard to detect. His staff is always friendly, thorough, and professional. I have lived in Grapevine for 35 years. This is a small town community and Dr. Ferris has always been a well respected Physician in our growing community.

Dr. Herd wasn't that personable, it could be with just me, that maybe he didn't quite like me, I don't know, but I wan't going in for a friend, I was going for checkups and later for my babies. I never felt uncomfortable so I thought it fine. His staff were always so nice to me, especially his nurse Trish, she treated me great, especially this last time. We had a lot of pleasant conversations. His office moved during my 1st pregnancy, and I think his business got bought off by a larger business, because when they moved they said they didn't accept Tricare, but I was grandfathered in because I started before they moved. So I couldn't go back to his office after the baby was born, ( for my regular check ups) until I got back on my work insurance. So after that I just used my family doctor for Paps, until I got pregnant again. For the 2nd baby I went back to Dr Herd just because I wanted my kids to have the same delivery doctor. I don't know why that was important to me. His office was always so nice. I started on my work insurance, but then hurt my back, so had to go on medical leave and get on Medicaid. I was on Tricare and Medicaid, and they still accepted me. After I went back to work, about 3 or 4 months after the baby was born, I went back to my work insurance. Well Dr. Herds office started billing my work insurance for all the baby care. Which leaves me to believe they got paid from Tricare and Medicaid and wanted some more from my work insurance. I started getting statements from my work insurance, and from Medicaid. A year and half later I got a bill in the mail for Dr. Herds office for a few hundred dollars. Tricare and Medicaid would pay for everything, so I shouldn't have received any bills, but then with them billing a 3rd insurance that I wasn't using at the time, I definitely shouldn't have received any bills, but I did. Of course I didn't pay it, but got hounded and hounded to pay it, then it went to collections. So needless to say I wouldn't be going back to Dr. Herds office. Additionally, my work insurance was paying the bills they submitted all the way up until the year time frame allowed, even though they weren't supposed to.......then I got a letter from my work insurance that the appeal that Dr. Herds office made on a denial of payment was rejected because they didn't bill them within the year time frame,.....so now Dr. Herds office is trying to come after me for the money.......such BS.

He's popular so sometimes it's hard to get in and you have to go to the after hours clinic. I truly believe they care about each and every patient. He continues to convince me more & more of his sincere commitment of providing his patients with the best of care. His staff has improved their general friendliness over time. Dr. Kobett seems to have the experience & knowledge to make good judgements regarding care needed for a broad spectrum of medical problems. He doesn't constantly refer you to a specialist as many doctors seem to do more & more. He will actually do his best to find a treatment for you himself. So far, he has provided me with excellent care. As a senior citizen, I feel compelled to give as much feedback as possible as us baby boomers begin our natural increased need for good medical care. Doctors, in general seem to have become much more focused on profits than quality of care. I wished we had more like this doctor.

I tried telling him the pain was unbearable and he just insisted I had acid reflux. After a quick trip to the ER and one ultrasound later - turns out I had gallstones. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS! And I never liked his staff either! The lady at the front desk way always so rude and his nurses were so rude every single time I came in.

I have seen him twice now, and both times he was spot-on regarding asking the proper questions, doing a thorough exam, and providing a correct diagnosis and remedy. His bedside manner is exceptional.
