Weatherford location is closing and it's about time. Terrible P.A. Laurence Hayward. Doesn't care about you or your health. It took 2 nurses and 5 attempts to get my BP and Hayward told me I needed to go see a cardiologist and take it daily at home. Him and his office is lousy at handling office tasks and referrals. My insurance approved payment of a BP cuff from a medical supplier, just needed his order and signature but his office called the next day saying he wasn't ordering one and I could buy one over the counter. No explanation and now I see why. Melcher is my Medicare dr on record but I saw Hayward 1st. Guess if your dr didn't get you in 1st, tuff. Twice I've tried to get an appointment with my dr on record and 4/2026 was told they weren't taking new patients. REALLY HES MY DOCTOR. EVEN THE INSURANCE IS FLABBERGASTED. Then just tried again 6/9/2026 and they gave me 1 for next day, put me on hold, came back and told me they couldn't make the appointment as I hadn't seen Melcher and I was seeing Hayward his P.A.. The guy said I'd have to do a new patient so I told him I'd do the 6/29 and after another long hold I was told they couldn't make me an appointment. No reason. So my 6/22 appointment which no one has notified anyone of its closing will leave me with no doctor. I have now filed a 2nd grievance with my insurance. Yeah they type something here but they really don't give a crap. I spent 3 days in the hospital for BP 76/52 only for it to come back AGAIN, THAT IT WAS MY MEDICATION!!!! $1,050 later, the 2nd time from the previous one, with multiple specialists and test to be determined its medication. What the point of having a PCP when they are too incompetent to even look at your info!!!! This fool could have killed me!!! read more

I've been seeing Dr Melcher since last November, and I have zero complaints. I'm in and out timely, yet I don't feel rushed. I feel he is very thorough, keeps up with progress, puts in referrals quickly. I'm an active duty dependent, so use Tricare, and have no issue with ins and billing. I have no plans on leaving, even when the move offices in August. Very happy with Dr Melcher. read more

Love my doctor I see here but the staff is beyond rude. Had to get things taken care of for the doctor to get with insurance on a procedure, whoever answered the phone kept wanting to argue and to call the imaging center.. when that's not the case... she would not listen whatsoever to what I was needing. Horrible attitude the whole time. Asked to speak to someone else and she went off with "you can talk to someone else but they are going to tell you the same thing!!!!" She hung up the phone on me. I called back 2x and got the vm each time when there are multiple people to answer the phones. They have absolutely no compassion for people who are in need of care. read more

Been with this provider for about a year now. They have been perfect every time. Appointments are always available and soon. I've never sat in a room more than 10 mins before someone checks in on you, and I don't think an entire visit has ever lasted over 30 mins. Easy scheduling, quick visits, no nonsense, lab on site. Lab results are a little slow but I'm sure that's not their fault. The closed for lunch thing has always bugged me for all Dr's offices but that's not exclusive to them. The half day Friday is also kinda annoying because if you don't catch them by 11 you'll have to wait until Monday. All in all I would say there the best providers I've had in 15 years, and I probably wouldn't have even left a review if I hadn't seen such low scores that were not my experience ever in any way. read more

Rosemary is just the worst. I've not had one good encounter with her. And Dr. Melcher refuses to see sick patients now if they haven't first taken a COVID test. You're a doctor's office.. what a joke. Please go somewhere that isn't scared to see sick patients and doesn't push experimental drugs on you that you don't want. read more

I've heard great thing about Lone Star from my in-laws. My youngest got sick and I couldn't find a pediatrician that would see him after hours or as a new patient due to a change of ins. Well Lone Star is awesome and got us in same day and after hours. We waited less than an hour which was awesome. Check in, nurses, doctors and check out personnel are all wonderful!!! read more

I'm currently a patient there for Dr. Jessica Williams. She is sweet and caring to me. The staff there however needs to be revamped. Everyone is rude there from reception to the scheduler to the medical assistant. Everytime. My husband even called to be seen as a new patient and the scheduler was extremely rude. Please show these employees manners and that it is ok to be kind to the patients/customers that come in. read more

Dr Subramanian is a nice man but his office staff is terrible. Prescriptions aren't done correctly and they refuse to fix their mistake even when it's as simple as clicking a box and resubmitting it. So only go here if you are prepared to pay out of pocket as they don't care. I don't know if the Dr is aware of the incompetence back of house. I have gone here for many years, and have always found competency with compassion. When the female doctor I had been seeing left for another group, I thought about changing. I am glad I did not! I have been seeing Dr. Subramanian for several years now and think he is awesome. That said, my family is almost all doctors except me, and I am VERY picky. If I feel like a physician talks down to me, I will find someone else. Dr. S discusses my personal issues with me like we are a team---he's the coach, and I am the player. With that approach, he has convinced me to do some of the preventive procedures I had previously avoided. I know that he takes a personal interest in my well-being and I will continue to see him in the future. read more

I am very discouraged, disappointed and tired of the way Lonestar Medical Group treats their patients. I've tried several times to call my Dr office and have been put on hold several minutes every time. Once for over 10 minutes and I just gave up. I have been a patient of Dr Bratton about 4 years now and have only seen him once. Every time I make an appointment he is about 4-6 weeks out but I am always offered to the PA Kelly in a few days. So I say sure that will be ok. But in reality I would really like to have a Dr that knows me and my medical history. But I guess Dr Bratton is just to busy to see me. When I need to see a DR I can't wait 4-6 weeks!! I am definetly going to seek another Dr that has time for me. read more

NEGATIVE STARS! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! They do not care about the patient, they care about money. I have never been treated so poorly by a Doctors office in my life. The staff are rude liars with absolutely no bedside manner. They are unfriendly and never smile. I've heard them make fun of patients. They have harassed me and called me a liar, but I had proof in emails that I was telling the truth, which made them treat me worse. If you do communicate with them, do so by email! However, they ignore you and do not return emails or phone calls. I know Doctors and other staff who used to work there, and left because IT IS THAT BAD! They ignored me for months to the point I contacted my insurance company for help, because my PCP abandoned me. They forced me to get blood work on my thyroid almost every other month when it was not necessary; I have been on the same medication for 30 years. It was all about money. It took MONTHS to get a referral on two serious health issues, MONTHS! My new PCP got me an approved referral in less than 24 hours. Dr. Williams, I think, is a pretty good Doctor but it is the staff and the way they run that place that makes her look bad. She should leave, just like the many others who have. I could go on and on with the issues I have had, it gets worse, but I just hope you will look at other reviews that are similar and choose another Doctor. If you read this and go to them anyway, give it time, you will remember this review and wish you listened. read more
