Two feet in the door I felt at home. Calina is a radiant old soul in a young person's body. I felt like I'd known her for years, even though we'd just met. I started with frequent ketamine journeys (compassionately facilitated by Calina) while I followed an antidepressant taper curated by John. I had been on antidepressant medications (2 at the time of my taper) for over 30 years. I am now medication free, and also not depressed, in fact hopeful. My long, psychedelic journey was fascilitated by John, and was life-changing in more ways than I can articulate. I flew from the east coast 8 times in 3 months to receive their highly researched professionally informed compassionate care. I live 20 minutes from a ketamine clinic on the east coast - but I chose to fly 6 hours each way for the treatment provided at The Sanctuary - because of their expertise, genuine care, come-as-you-are vibe - and most importantly - the integrationafter the treatment which is paramount to the healing taking hold. John is not a psychedelic enthusiast. He is the real deal. He is a medical doctor, but he truly is there to heal the soul. After my FIRST ketamine journey, I immediately called everyone that I loved and told them they have to do this. The immediate sense of hope after leaving only my first journey breathed new life into me. I wanted my (adult) children to have this joy and sponsored their journies. The doctor told me not to worry because he would give me anti-nausea medication. I told him I needed to have it in my system at least an hour before the ketamine treatment, but he refused.
