On google other people have reviewed the same issue. Don't waste your time with these folks. If y'all can't handle work load, stop taking new potential clients. Saying the guy has been busy and backed up is no excuse. He's had a month to get this done. DO BETTER! Everyone is so slack these days! Now we take our business and money elsewhere.

Was going to write this a week ago but decided to write this with a cooler head…read more Honestly I have some ptsd from this experience.. we got our roof replaced ($15k+) but through and through I was not impressed with the (1) worksmanship (2) attention to details (3) expectations lining up with delivery. (1) they came to install on the wrong day... My wife and I both work from home and it was a day where my online students had to deal with major hammering sounds. plus we had to hustle moving stuff around after ubruptly being woken at 8am. our shingles were also delivered uncovered (just fyi have a tarp just in case for rainy weeks..) however our consultant did come the next day to cover. (2) we were dropped from our insurance.... they'll make it sound like you'll get a free roof and no problem and everyone else pays for it when the "zip code" goes up in price but in reality it's a process and you could get kicked off your insurance. We were on our first year of a new policy and I had voiced this concern but.... as the new insurance agents have been berating me: "you should never take insurance advice from a roofer". (3) "no cost to you. all insurance" could still mean some cost to you. The metropolitan team did a good job extracting every penny they could from the insurance but we still came out at the end owing a bill of a few hundred (before our window screens were resolved as well). Partially not to their fault but they never could find our window blinds which they said they would resolve. They have now finally adjusted this at the end after requesting.. so that it was true to their word of no cost to me but I need to figure out blinds. I'd just like to say the consultant I worked with, Matt, was excellent. His communication and friendliness was top notch and he did show me the proof that he requested the correct install date to the team. (also came to cover our shingles delivery with a tarp thank you matt). However everything else... To prospective customers, I hope you have a better experience and in all honesty you probably will. I'd still recommend +have something to cover on delivery day. they're on planks and they'll probably tell you it's ok but (if you care) +double/triple check the install day +if the initial sales/outreach people tell you anything please get it in writing. +probably not install on a day that's 100 degrees F +mow grass down near house so they can pick up all the trash/nails +move stuff around house in advance just in case (esp if you have a fractured foot you're recovering on because you might re-injure it again).
