I think the HOA approved within 3-4 days. I can't remember the name of the man who came to measure, however, he must have measured each aspect of the door at least 3 times, maybe more. I expect the door to fit perfectly. I expect when we receive the new door, there will be more good things we have to say.

When they arrived they went direct to work and did not stop until our windows had been installed and cleaned. It was amazing how they worked together and even apart. The installers, Fillype Veiga and Joe, were very polite, courteous and professional. Both my wife and I were very happy when the installation was completed. We could not believe how beautiful the newly installed windows changed the appearance of our home. The workmanship of the two installers is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone. Before they left Fillype went over how the windows worked, how they open and close, then cleaned them all. They cleaned up everything and left nothing behind except our new windows. It took a few weeks to find a window of good weather, but once we had a stretch of sun, David's crew was prompt and very professional, cleaning up every evening and leaving us our driveway to park in. David was very responsive throughout the entire process and sought to meet every need my wife and I had. Even when that meant switching the direction of the front siding due to our preference. The finished product speaks for itself and the savings allowed us to install all new gutters with gutter guards which really make a difference. If you are looking for the best value without sacrificing quality, look no further.

Calvin is so rude and difficult to get any clear answers from it was a very painful process to coordinate with other scheduled work that couldn't be done until the windows were in. Once the windows did come in, the instillation process was like a bad movie. We took time off work and had the other contractors working there take the day off too... the window installers roll in at noon and leave at 3:30 without a single window in, just tore out a little drywall inside and left. It took two more days of part time work to get four windows in. One of the most frustrating things they did was to put unfinished wood trim inside the all white window install that we need a 20 ft ladder to get to, to paint instead of putting pre-primed white trim. It makes the windows look very unfinished and I hate that we have to go get a 20 ft ladder and paint just for a tiny piece of trim. Our other contractors finished the caulking for the window contractors because they were so slow and the guys were tired of waiting. I'm disappointed in the new picture windows too, they have a much smaller glass opening than the old ones even though the outside measurements are the same. Apparently this is the case with the windows they carry, so be warned. I'm glad it's over and I'll never have to deal with this company again.
