Red Flags, first impressions First impressions are very important. This store failed miserably. I made an online order for delivery, the next day it was cancelled by the store. I called the store and they have no idea why it was cancelled. Red Flag #1. They made the order active again and gave me a delivery date, a week later. Waiting a week for a delivery from a dispensary 10 miles away...Red Flag #2. I order delivery because I can no longer drive due to eye problems. So they give me a date, they say we'll call you when we are close. I got an email, a text but no phone call and no delivery. I called the store back today and they have no idea what happened lol. I would never recommend anyone use this store, especially if you use delivery. Curaleaf delivers "next day", always has for me anyway. I wanted to shop here because they have products that Curaleaf no longer carries. This store needs to take a look at their business model, whether it's management or not who knows but their is no communication. They lost a "would be" customer. read more

Wanted to give a good review because i never have a hard time here. Staff is always kind and never give me an issue. I started coming to the orange park location because the Trulieve in Middleburg was giving me problems. Staff at middleburg just don't seem to want to be there and are kinda rude. Even though the Middleburg location has a drive thru it still is more inconvenient to try and use it compared to driving further to Orange Park. All the staff was professional, everytime though not just last Friday. The associate, V that suggest I use their 3rd party app to save myself $3 every time I go to pay with a card also helped me set up my Canpay app was very patient and extremely helpful with me dealing with my bank and all when I was there and she is a perfect asset to the team there at the Orange Park location. I have only had to wait when there was other clients there before me. Other than that it has always been a pleasant experience and I will encourage others to go to their business as they handle everything professional and patient. Trulieve you are the best! To be honest don't know why so many bad reviews Trulieve to me is the best dispensary. good deals everyday.

I've only gone to the dispensary twice so far and I'm loving the products. The first experience I had was in September when I first got my card. I wasn't too fond of the bud-tender and his attitude when I mentioned I'm a new patient and there was a promo going on for getting $75 off my order. He told me that it was only for renewals but the fine print clearly said renewal or new card application but he still refused the discount. I went again today and I mentioned the deal because I saw it was extended. The check in person was the GM and he said he can see what he can do since it was suppose to be done the same month I got my card. I completely forgot to mention that to my bud-tender today during checkout. However I'm not too worried about the discount for this transaction because then everything I bought would've been almost free. I'm just upset that I didn't get to use it the first time I visited. Overall this second experience was cool. The bud-tender gave me some tips on where to order a device I was looking for and he grabbed what I needed and asked if I had any questions. I didn't have anymore questions so I was in and out. I'm sure I'll be returning with the products Trulieve has to offer. read more

Hour wait for an express pickup?! Great products but the worst customer service EVER!

The third time's a charm. This is the THIRD time I have been to any Trulieve and the third time I have left without purchasing anything. The first time, they had nothing special to offer me for being a new patient except for 50% off, but that's the deal for everyone. So, no incentive there. The second time, they did not have what I came for. The third and last time was today at this location. It was very hectic when we entered. There were many many people waiting. We were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour before we would be served. I'm assuming they were short-staffed since the next place we went was hopping but running smoothly. Problems like these usually indicate bad management and badly managed stores are notorious for passing their problems on to customers. That's a ridiculous waiting time. read more

Trulieve cannot accept my order for needed medicine because I do not possess a Florida Id. The problem is I can't have 2 drivers licenses at the same time even if I hold a land deed for both places. I have been ordering delivery, pick-up, and doing walk-ins with this location since they opened. While I never have issues doing a pick-up or walk-in the delivery service is trash. When you order online for delivery you pick the date you want it delivered, which to every other delivery service in the world means you will get it the day you choose (barring any unforeseen circumstances like weather)... right? WRONG! Apparently, the delivery date you choose at checkout is not guaranteed (according to their online customer service people). When you contact their online customer service to see where your order is you get nothing but attitudes and excuses. Half the time their response is just "Our systems are down so we can't check on your order." If your systems are down 90% of the time what is the point in offering a service you clearly can't provide? I have missed many events because I have had to stay home and wait for them to show up and they never do nor do they call to let you know they won't be there. I live quite far from this location (which is my closest one) so driving to pick up orders is incredibly difficult. As said previously I have been working with this location since they opened and I hadn't had an issue with the deliveries until recently (the last 6 months) so I don't know if their management changed or what the problem is but I won't be back. read more

I used to come here quite frequently. I'm not sure if they're using a new system or if they have a new way of doing things but I wouldn't advise going if you're in a hurry. Wait times have seemed to be longer each time. My order is never ready as fast as it used to be, even if I order hours ahead of time. Waiting room always seems to be full whereas there used to be a steady influx of people coming and going. The prices and deals are still about the same but having to wait 45+ minutes to pick up one item is absurd. Most places around Jax will have you out in under 15, 20 tops. read more

This place used to be the best it was fast and easy the only issue is leaving the parking lot, nowadays the walk ins are served first over pick up and express. I am not the one to write reviews but I am currently waiting in the trulieve for a pick up that I was told to come back to get the following day. I am out at the end of the line due to that. pick up and express doesn't make a difference here at all you can place a order four hours ahead it says it's ready and you still have to wait over 30mins on a normal day for a pick up and walk ins will get sent back before you get your things. I believe this place needs more space or just better workers because it's ridiculous how slow this place is now. read more

So this location is the closest to where I live. The other two locations are on Beach Blvd and 3rd st. Staff has been okay for the most part. They have a lot of rotating staff too. Their stock fluctuates a lot too. I generally stick to carts with the occasional concentrate. Facility is usually clean. People are only able to come in with masks. You can do an online order to help avoid waiting if you were to choose walk in, instead. They also do text message and email updates to let you know when your purchase is available for pick up. You can check in upon arrival and they have a wait timer on the website to show you what the estimated wait is. When you walk in you give them your patient card and they call you back when they're ready. They have an ATM on site, it charges 3.50 for a fee, so hit your bank before going to avoid that. They allow debit cards now, but they also charge a service fee. So cash is your best bet. They offer discounts to EBT holders, seniors, veterans, and first responders. You can also gain points while going too. read more

I've been visiting Truelieve-Orange Park exclusively until Truelieve-BayMeadows just recently opened...but, TRULIEVE is my vendor of choice in Florida. Their prices are inline with other vendors AND they offer discounts to seniors, Vets, etc, (although, not all discounts are "stackable"; we want them to stay in business, right?) I have had some bad things happen to a few carts, and I felt awful about complaining, but, they took it all in stride, replaced the merchandise and I was a happy (and loyal) customer! I believe this is the third year I've purchased from Trulieve, (whenever the law was passed & the dispensary opened). The first year was bumpy, with problems with short supply and perhaps Trulieve not being prepared for the demand they were going to face, but all of that seems to be "worries of the past", and even on a Monday morning after Easter Sunday Weekend, they were pretty well stocked" with essentials and I was able to place my online order for pickup later today, which, by the way, I highly recommend to everyone! It's very easy (even for an old lady like me) Just place your order, they will text you a confirmation, then, when your order is ready to pick up, they will send you another text telling you it is ready! I then text them to let them know I am waiting in the parking lot...& they text me when it's my turn! Easy Peasy! Everyone at the dispensary is super nice, well versed in the products, and usage...and if they don't know the answer to your question, they take time to get the answer for you. I have found this to be true at both locations. Trulieve, please, please, please open a dispensary down here in the Durbin/Switzerland/Mandarin area..south of 295 between San Jose and 95 north of 210....there's not even ONE dispensary down in this direction! So I waited all day about 5:00pm I called and asked where my order was and they said oh it will be there between 6-7pm and I said ok . Not kids you at 6:20pm receivers a call from driver and he told me wait I'm still laughing this is what he said my car got stuck in dirt on the Sid of the road ???? Inefficient. 2nd Trulieve I've tried. The first at Beach and University. HORRIBLE. This one is just as bad, worse. Received an automated text advising my order was ready for pick up and I could check in online to minimize my wait time. I did. Waited in the parking lot until I received a confirmation text to come inside. I ventured up to the door and there's 2 peeps ahead of me followed by a security guard. I asked the people if they checked in and they said no. I told the security guard that I received a text saying to come inside. He said, "he'll let me know when I can come in." I waited. Finally got in the lobby and re-checked in. Had to wait AGAIN. Unacceptable. read more

This seems to be a nasty habit the industry is practicing. False advertising and bait-and-switch. You go to the website for this store specifically. The have a product I want (high percentages) for a decent price. Get to the store and now those percentages are much less than was advertised, on their website. They did not have that product I ordered in their store. And they would not make it right for me. They weasel out of this by pointing out "THC Per Package: Varies; CBD Per Package: Varies." Yet the state has tested the product, they have tested their product. They know percentages to the tenths. It is placed on the package. This is, ostensibly, a medical product. Shouldn't this be much more accurate? My pharmacist can't sell me half-strength meds at full price. Does not Trulieve, a large multi-state corporation not have a computerized inventory control? My thoughts are that they know every product in every store, the costs and the percentages. The store says they have no control over the website. That website represents that store so they are responsible for the presence and abscence of products advertised. The manager would offer no relief, denying responsibility. False advertising for drawing me to their store with hopes of a nice purchase, bait-and-switch for not having said product and offering one of much less potency than that advertised. I will not return. What used to be a pretty good dispensary is now a corporate grift. If you do choose to sponsor this store please be aware of exactly what you want, it's price and the percentages of the product as listed on the website. Double check behind the CSR before you hand over any money. If it's not right you can raise hell and leave. They are not the only store in town. Or you can settle for what paltry weeds they are peddling as quality for a premium price. read more

I just started to go back to Trulieve after 2 years of not using them. Nothing has changed. Poor customer service and extremely long wait times. They have an express pick up option that has still had me waiting over an hour to pick up an order that was placed online and that I received notification was ready for pick up. Their reason for the excessively long wait times - understaffed. This is an ongoing issue with Trulieve (Gainesville and Orange Park) and yet other local dispensaries have no issue providing service (even walk ins) within 10-15 minutes. This tells me that Trulieve management and executives are failing to pay appropriately to attract the necessary number of employees and/or they just don't care. Either way, no sale or discount is worth waiting over an hour for (especially when the lobby is beyond filled to capacity with customers sitting on the floor due to a lack of available seating). read more
