I've been using Truly Nolan for a couple of years and I've been very pleased with their business. If I report one insect, I can get them out fairly quickly and they'll treat again. My local guy is great! read more

Hire this company to handle our lawn and ornamentals ... a year later our lawn and beds look worse than when they started. When we signed up for Truly Nolan the company assured us that our property would be "regularly serviced" even though we are in Fl for just 5 months. I just learned today that the company will not regularly inspect our property and that it was up to us to call them if there was a problem. I was further told that I had to hire a person to check for pest problems!!! problems. These terms were not presented when we first met with Truly Nolan. Very disappointed. Ken S. Absolutely negligent and rude. Had 2 office employees hang up on me, schedule an inspection for the same day as call and refuse to give me a timeframe before hanging up on me. This company is negligent because I had a termite policy as well as a pest control policy and when I called with new payment information they neglected to renew my termite policy. Now they are saying that due to lapse any new damage won't be covered even though it was written on the initial policy that was signed. Very upsetting that I called with solution but due to staff oversight and lack of forthcoming information this company leaves their clients in the dust. I really hate to write this but think its well deserved. We had a one year paid contract with them and the service was ok. After hurricane Ian totally destroyed our home and it was uninhabitable, I called them to get some money back from our paid contract. Understand that we lost everything and every dollar counts. I called 2 times and left emails. One manager responded "no" you cannot get your money back. The other manager emailed me and said she would call me back. No one got back to me and they kept all our money. I was a couple days over my 6 month mark into a one year contract. I feel I should have been given some money back due to the circumstances. Next time I need services like this, I will look elsewhere. I would not use this company again. read more

Although the service was pretty good, they screw over the customer if you cancel the service. The charge is $500 per year, but if you pay in full up-front, you get a $25 discount for the year. When I canceled, 3 out of 4 services were done. So I should have received $118.75 refund (one quarter of $475). They claimed that it's only $100 refund because each quarterly service is $125. But as I explained to them, that's only the case if I pay by the service, but I paid up-front to get the $25 discount for the year. Nowhere on the bill does it say I get that $25 discount only for the last quarter. They owe me another $18.75, but they played dumb and refuse to calculate it correctly. We had similar issues with them when we recommended them to two new customers over the years. For each new customer, we were supposed to get a $25 gift card. Each time, we had to call several times over several months before they finally sent those out. read more

We've used this company for three years on an annual contract basis. The regularly scheduled visits are fine but when you try to call to schedule a visit for an unexpected problem you're put on hold for a ridiculous length of time. You can't schedule a visit online (you can only request that a representative call you back) so you have no choice but to wait up to an hour on hold. This is a national company. There's no excuse for their absurdly inferior phone service. They don't even let you know how long you'll have to wait in the phone queue. I'm canceling my service and will try a local Naples business instead. read more

This is a large corporation with the benefits of the latest research, training and technics however the individualized customer service we have received over the last 15 years has been the reason we have continued to work with Truly Nolen. It has been a true partnership and a relationship to combat those pests we don't want to see in our home. Stay away from this company.I'm trying to find words to describe how I feel and SCAMMED is probably the most accurate.They stared the service with cero results with in 4 visits.The technician was never previously informed about the conversations I had with the office.Not even one dead roach ,ant oh spider a total disaster.I'm not sure at this point if he even have any product on that little container he used to walk around my house .I found totally impossible that not even one dead roach .I understand everything takes time but how come we went to Home Depot and with a 3 dollar bottle we had results in less than 30 minutes .I called to cancel the service .But they charge my bank account again this month anyway.when calling to ask why ? They front desk lady said now another 135 will be coming out my bank account.They transferred me with the manager Anna she never picked up oh called me back .I'm getting all the details together to go with the BBB and the FTC.Someone need to look In to this scam this company is running.Upper management probably doesn't know .but the new manager Anna at Naples location knows ! Horrible Service! We wanted to give these an honest try, but.... First, wouldn't accept our coupon. There was NO asterik on add for coupon to say what was not included. Very suspicious! Why place ads on the internet and coupon books for these coupons if you won't accept. Second, the first inspector didn't even know what bugs we had! We had to do internet research to find what the bug was. Turns out it was a baby roach that has kept visiting us! Third, a new inspector who came while our regular was out sick confirmed it was baby roaches. He also gave us tips on how to get rid of these roaches which the first guy NEVER gave us! So we spent $225 plus tax to have baby roaches and crazy ants for a month and have inspectors tell us that we have to buy a year to get rid of them? Hmmmm. What incentive do they have to kill the bugs if you buy a month service? Keep the bugs in the home so the homeowners have to buy the yearly service. read more

It's been 30 days now that I requested a refund, they have not refunded my money, they took a monthly draft and have told me the manager of Naples is on leave - that's why it's left hanging. Was finally advised after 8 calls and several emails that I was to have been refunded my money on 11/29/19 - today is 12/6/19 and no refund in site! I have the Total Protection Guarantee where I pay $390 a year for them to inspect for termites. As part of that service they need to come out whenever you do remodeling so they can treat and inspect the "opened up" area. I called on a Friday for an appointment on Monday. They never showed up. I called that Monday and scheduled something for the next day. They never showed up. I called the dispatcher and she said "all inspectors are in a meeting in Ft. Myers". She doesn't know why it got scheduled when it clearly couldn't happen. She also had no record of my first appointment even though it was her I spoke with. Meanwhile I have taken time off work, and my bathroom guys cannot work. Everything is on hold for these unreliable pest guys. I have no confidence that they will come later today. I will have to leave work AGAIN to meet him. Do not use Truly Nolen. They are unreliable. UPDATE: I called to confirm my 3:30pm to 5:30pm appointment (this is the 3rd one). She said it was confirmed. I left work early to wait for the guy. He NEVER SHOWED UP! Also never called. I am done with this company. There is no way you can work with something like this. I'll cancel my annual contract and try to get a refund (good luck). There is no way I can continue to support a company that is this disrespectful of their customer's time. Not a good company to use. Took $250 contract to get rid of ants with a 30 day cancellation. Didn't get rid of ants. Didn't spray hardly anywhere. Called to cancel and they sent someone out anyway. A workman let them in. Then sent me a bill for another $90. When I called to complain manager was to call me back. Didn't. Called back and talked to office manager who assured me she would take care of charge. Didn't. Then collection calls began. Management at Truly Nolan would not return my calls. Ineptitude of this company cost me $6000 and almost the sale of my dad's house which is all his expected income at age 92. "Jeff", the expert who inspected my home was adamant there were no termites but still I thought I was covered after getting a policy (turns out it was only for pests) and when we finally get the house under contract - shock: evidence of termites-buyers almost walked! Called Truly Nolen 5x and could not get the manager "Joe" to call me back. Jeff made a very serious mistake but Joe was absolutely horrible and made NO effort to try and ameliorate the situation!
