Very well maintained hard courts, friendly staff and reasonable prices! A great find for indoor tennis.

I have trained in their Fairfield gym when it started out as a Golds Gym. I also trained in their…read morethe old Stratford location. I now currently train in their Trumbull facility. The pros are: 1) their gyms have all the equipment needed for the beginner as well as for the serious advanced level weightlifter; 2) the equipment is well maintained; 3) the facility is always clean in both the locker room and the exercise areas; 4) the staff is friendly and the personal trainers are highly qualified; 5) those who train here on a regular basis are friendly. There is only 1 con. It has to do with the people who sit on the equipment texting instead of training. For the most part, they are inexperienced to exercise and not really serious about training. As for my credentials, I am an 80 year old retired science teacher who for 38 years has taught biology, chemistry and human anatomy & physiology. I have a Masters degree in human nutrition. I started weight training in college at the age of 18. I am a natural for life bodybuilder who has won the titles of Mr. Connecticut, American Natural Bodybuilding Conference Champion and A.A.U. Masters Mr. USA. Lastly, I was also a personal trainer. I trained my clients in their homes. I give the gym a 4 solely because of those texting, otherwise I would give it a 5.

I actually cancelled my membership here because there is a younger trainer that approached me in…read morethe locker room and asked me for lotion. Made me feel super uncomfortable. You not only made me feel super creeped out while I was washing my face, but you cost me time cause this gym is right down the road from where I live and now I gotta find a different gym. Thanks a lot.

I absolutely love participating in Carefree boat Club. It has honestly been one of the highlights…read moreof the season with all of the fun and none of the maintenance of a boat. The one drawback to a boat club are the time constraints. I completely understand that it goes with the territory of the club but it's still SO much fun! You get the choice of several boats in each location: we mostly take it out of the marina in Bridgeport near Boca but there are many throughout the state- with our favorite being Old Saybrook. While in the Bridgeport area, there are many places to stop for tubing, food, paddle boarding. This was our first season and I am already looking forward to next season!

Super easy boating experience. Great value when you consider maintenance storage docking etc…read more because you effectively share costs with 4-8 people. But best part is no cleaning work or time spent refueling. Just show up, load up and enjoy the day. You only pay for the gas you use. Then come in unload and go. Dock people are friendly and helpful getting in and off the dock. They offer classes on docking. The only downside is not being able to use a boat on a weekend spur of the moment. I've never had a problem 2 weeks out but otherwise weekends fill up. Weeknights are often free for a spur of the moment sunset cruise. This is a franchise with different local owners. SE CT has a great owner who cares about his customers.
