Spectacular views of Trump Vineyard from the Cidery

Enjoy the spectacular views of Trump Vineyard from the lawns of the Cidery. We enjoyed the tasting flight of 6 and bought a few bottles home to enjoy later. The staff are exceptionally friendly and shared their expertise of these tasty libations. If you are feeling energetic, pick some apples while you're there.

It was a yuge success. You'll love it. Believe me. All other cideries are terrible. This one, outstanding.

What a beautiful setting. Started the day picking apples. Went & had coffee, apple cider and apple donuts rolled in cinnamon sugar. What a gorgeous day as well. Had a couple tastings, mango and the blueberry ciders. Purchased the blueberry. Both were good. Sat outside looking across the way to the winery. Lots of seating in sun & shade. Lots of games to play with adults and children. A family friendly place. Cider tasting room is elegant and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Went to the winery to p/u our wines and have lunch. Another perfect time.

The most laid back spot! Such a different feel from the winery. Set more in the woods, quiet, calm. We loved sitting on the porch with our cider. They were delicious, and the punny names were fun!

Let me preface this by saying I am not a cider girlie!! Although I am still not a cider girlie these were very refreshing!! A little vinegar for my taste but still refreshing in this Virginia heat!! The staff were friendly and took their time explaining the process and the flavor profiles. I will say the highlight for me was the food!! I highly recommend the charred Caesar and baby backs. The charring of the lettuce really added to flavors! And those baby backs!! Oh wow!! The hunt of spicy that the chef added to the sauce - honestly chefs kiss!! Nestled just off the main road was just a great way to end the day! The lawn area with the Adirondack chairs is just so southern I can't get enough of it!! Perfect ambiance for sipping and enjoying your surroundings!

Amazing affordable food. Service was excellent. Ambiance- gorgeous views and comfortable. Everyone was "Making America Great" and toasting their cider glasses.

Susan was fantastic in the tasting area. Great selections in cides and food. Location and scenery was beautiful. Grat place to stop for a bite to eat and a glass of cider and go away with a few bottles.

Stunning view, wonderful people, and great wine! Service is quick. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Can't wait to return.

We recently went on Mother's Day and they were doing a cute brunch and giving out free carnations. I enjoyed their classic cider and exclusive one. They have a pretty big food menu which is nice. The beer The views The food The music The vibes We haven't been here in sometime but I'm so glad they're still giving five star service. We were looking a little lost coming in, but David grabbed us up and said "I can help you over here". From there it was love at first SIP! He has us at FREE SAMPLE ciders. David took us through the offerings, educating us along the way. He mentioned what ciders are the most flavorful and why. He hung with our curiosity, eagerness to drink and indecisiveness at the same time. Customer service is crucial to a pleasant experience. I can only hope the rest of the staff are as easy going and likes their job as much as he does. Now for the cider. GET THE FLIGHT! Sample and fall in love with options instead of one. We settled on: Pineapple Imperial Berry Summer Slice Paradise Orchard Imperial orange Vat #1 (champagne cider) Imperial All amazing and refreshing selections. Paradise orchard is my new fave. Let's get into this food. We ordered: Tacos w/ house chips Chicken Nachos Cajun Honey wings & fries All great and very fresh made to order, so good, good flavors. My fave were the wings and the house chips. Only notes is out more sauce and seasoning on the wings, I felt like BR was teasing me with a good time. I needed more! Same with the nachos so good. The chips were fresh, but I need more cheese throughout the chips. Chicken was on point. Everything was super super fresh so good. House chips is a huge staple love them. Keep doing them maybe add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if you are reading this and you're debating about coming here get the house chips get a flight get it all. Our total bill $75, but omg we sampled sooo much! Love this place... BR give David a raise!

There is very limited seating in the indoor wine bar--two small tables is just about it. If they don't have a wedding or other event, the large barn-like event space is open with seating, but its cool and drafty so if you're hiding from the weather it is not ideal. They have a very small food menu and offer a rotating menu of cider flights and cocktails. Generally, ciders are quite dry, not at all like angry orchard or redd's (for comparison). The cocktails are fun and creative. I loved having the option for a hot drink in late December. At some point, I'd love to be able to come when the weather is beautiful and can take advantage of their outdoor wine bar, fire pits, and view. Ample parking, though as you follow the road up to the winery, you move from gravel to packed dirt. Parking can get quite muddy as it is just grass/dirt, and there can be some deep tracks left from cars in previous weather. Definitely not a reason to skip this place, but something that we noticed as we were coming/going since we were in a very small car.

We saw online that they had open-mic night that Thursday and had hoped it would be outside since we had our dogs and had to be on the patio, but alas it was not (maybe because it was cold or maybe it's always inside). We did get to see bits of it when going inside to use the restroom or get more cider though and it was so fun! It definitely draws a big crowd, so they were very busy once it started around 7. They had "happy hour" open to close with $15 carafes. We ended up splitting 3 over the course of a few hours. We tried the grapefruit hibiscus, the imperial dry, and the farmhouse dry. All were so good and crisp! To help keep us warm we split the special that night, which was the black bean chili nachos. They were delicious, but a little pricey at $19. Although I'm sure it's because it had so many ingredients in it and you have to account for potentially not going through all of them, and we were on vacation, so we looked past price points during our trip. Later in the night we also split the warm artichoke dip and rented a fire pit beside our table. Outside patios in the fall are always chilly, but the fire pits were the star of the show and warmed everything right up and provided a cozy ambiance. It was also magical to sit outside because the property stays relatively dark and sits further out from Charlottesville than other breweries, wineries, etc and you can look up and see all of the stars while sipping your cider. We would love to come back if we are ever in Charlottesville again!

Connectivity was surprisingly excellent--we were pulling 5G UW, which felt like a small miracle and made everything easier. We bought 3 packs - Wassail, Honey Ginger, and Off the Press (Peach was sold out!) and devoured them within a week! I wasn't a big fan of the Strawberry and Blackberry ciders. There's outdoor seating to soak in the sweeping views of the Shenandoah hillside and the beautiful fields and pastures! The indoor seating is a bit cramped for only a dozen or so people. There's a small market next door that sells produce and meat. The food truck sold cider donuts and some hot food and drinks, I wish the donut was hot (it was stone cold!).
