Really cool and unique experience. The space itself is stunning. You walk in to a converted warehouse and are immediately greeted by a trendy bar area and the receptionist. The entire first floor is dedicated to menswear and filled with comfy couches, chairs, a pool table, etc. It's a nice relaxing space. If you come as a couple they'll most likely have you both get settled downstairs. I returned for a second appointment and was able to experience the second floor/women's space. It's bright, airy, feminine and gives you total decor envy. If only my bedroom/home looked like this! Ahead of your appointment you'll be assigned a stylist and they'll call you to discuss your sizing, likes/dislikes, and specific items you're looking for. I was in need of a unique dress for engagement photos and was excited to walk in and see a rack full of different dresses of all sorts of colors. If you have a unique body type, it can be tricky to find something that fits just right on your first try - especially since it's your first time with the stylist. However, I feel like once they get to know you and your body in person, it could lead to long lasting success. The team makes you feel comfortable and it's an incredibly fun way to shop, feel pampered and enjoy a cocktail or glass or wine. Trunk Club is just dope. As a business, they're so well run and knowledgable (and fashionable). The stylists are great at calling or emailing and getting to know you and the whole idea is well-executed and smart. This location is so cool! It's open, but private. You feel so well taken care of and laid-back that you'll want to go in often. You do need to be prepared for the prices, but they have a wide-range of products so you can keep it as reasonable as you want. You should definitely call or contact them if you're at all interested. I know I didn't have any fashion sense before walking into TC, but now I enjoy opening my closet and deciding what to wear. There are no hidden or extra fees anywhere, just buy the clothes you want and go home happy. I will say it is not the cheapest way to change or upgrade your wardrobe but the styles and manufacturers available at TC are not like what you would find at the mall. Trunk Club is officially my favorite way to shop. My husband and I went for a group session on a Saturday morning. They are doing some group sessions for a Valentine's special thing. The atmosphere and design of the space is great. It feels cozy, but modern. We even got mimosas to sip on while trying on our picks. Our stylist, Taylor Mann, was just perfect! She's friendly, makes you feel at ease, and did an awesome job picking clothes I would never pick for myself, but I LOVED. She understood what I was looking for and helped me pick things I was comfortable in and made me feel like me, not me trying to dress as someone else. I'm so excited for all my new pieces I got today and can't wait to start working them in. I told her about some specific upcoming events and she helped me pick pieces that work for that, but also work for daily life. I'm trying to go more towards a capsule-like wardrobe where I have strong, quality pieces that can mix and match in a lot of different ways, and I'm much more confident that I'm heading in that direction after my styling session today. Taylor also told us about a service they provide where they come to your home and help you go through your closet to clean things out and figure out what pairs with what. Some people may be able to do this on their own, and I definitely could, but I would love the input of someone who knows much more than me in this area. I find putting together outfits time consuming and honestly just intimidating sometimes, so I tend to stick with a basic "uniform" of jeans and soft flannel shirts...so I'm definitely going to try this service soon, too! Trunk Club is great. So professional and what a great idea and concept. This makes the perfect gift to yourself or to any other guy. Trunk Club makes it possible for men to look their best and feel their best. It also forces me to stay "in trend". Check them out online. You can register/create a profile and from there begin to shop. You look through pictures of clothing items and select the ones that you like or that catch your eye. You give your sizing measurements and all in between and you're finished. You go into the store the following day and an expert specialist selects different choices of clothes for you to try on based on your taste outlined in your online profile. When you go in they make you feel like royalty and make you feel right at home. Finally, shopping for clothes is now awesome. read more

I worked with one of the stylists who started in Chicago and now is based in the Dallas location. Trunk Club is one of the special businesses where the people who work there truly love what they do. And for us guys who may NOT love shopping, the folks are a godsend! They are creative, passionate and really good at what they do. If you are even a little interested, it's definitely worth a try. My husband used to receive trunks from a stylist in Chicago and we loved it! We were both so thrilled to have the new store opening in Dallas, especially after visiting their Chicago store last time we were visiting. Ladies take your guys here! They have a bar, great music and the atmosphere is fun. Best way to shop! A new stylist from the Dallas store called and invited us to come see the new office and for my husband to do some shopping. I immediately made an appointment and was impressed by how pulled together the store was, especially when my husband's new stylist told me they had only been open for a couple months. Unfortunately, our experience was less than superb. The stylist on multiple occasions made reference to going on a company trip to Mexico and needing to sell so much in order to do so. I actually really enjoyed the new stylist and I thought she was spot on with all of her picks for my husband but my husband later told me he felt pressured to buy more clothes and questioned the genuineness of the stylist's picks. This is the only way my husband (and dad and brother) will buy clothes and they look so good in their clothes and I never have to fight with him about what works and fits nicely but we will probably go back to receiving trunks. read more

Trunk Club is such a great concept. It turns shopping for clothes into an experience I actually enjoy! When you walk into the studio you immediately feel cool. After grabbing a drink at the open bar you'll meet with a stylist who will measure you and ask about your personal style and what you're looking for. My stylist Nicole is awesome! She was able to find me some great staples that I have integrated into my wardrobe. Some items can get pretty pricey, but they do have a Trunk Club brand that is more affordable and still looks sharp. I love the idea of this service but my first meeting was just so so. I had sent pictures of clothes I liked and had a phone conversation with the stylist and when I showed up nothing was pulled. I sat and waited for her to pull the clothes and nothing was even close to my liking besides 1 tshirt. I had an event to go to do I was actually looking for an outfit for that. The Trunk club store is charming people there are friendly. The stylist told me that they do not keep very much inventory for women on hand so I thought I'd give it another go and have her send a trunk and see what she came up with. I did leave with the tshirt and 2 pair of jeans which still had a security sensor tag on it when I got home. Yes I had to drive all the way back. The process of using the app and giving feed back is a great idea. I did enjoy receiving my trunk it was fun going through it but I either do not connect with my stylist or I'm not a Nordstroms shopper. I would recommend this service to other people for sure but hopefully the stylist "gets you" and is prepared. read more

I recently signed up for Trunk Club for my husband. He plays football so can be hard to fit at times. He is taller than the average guy and with a smaller waist than his thighs, I've had a hard time finding pieces that aren't too baggy or too tight. I was called by a girl named Meredith and I had never been so offended in my life. I explained to her why I was looking to use Trunk Club and after a few minutes on the phone, she insisted because we live in the area and my husband could be a tricky fit, we had to come into their shop versus being sent a trunk, as I requested because my husband would be unavailable to come in for at least a couple weeks due to his schedule. She then implied that she wasn't sure if the prices would work for us because I told her my husband hasn't done a lot of shopping at typical retail stores in the past. He has found a couple pairs of Levi jeans that fit well and has worn a lot of Brooks Brothers in the past and we recently found Bonobos and love them! He also wears all custom suiting for any of his press appearances. She told me that her typical client shops at Nordstrom or higher end department stores and didn't know if it would be helpful for her to send me a trunk just for me to send everything back because we were shocked by the higher prices. After spending 10 minutes on the phone with her, I told her I would let her know when we could come into their store, as she was not very helpful and didn't seem to be letting up on sending my husband a trunk. I doubt we will ever make it into their store and will do just fine at a local Neiman Marcus or the new Bonobos shop in town. I am very disappointed as I had heard good things and believe many of my husband's team shops here and know it would have been a perfect fit. I did notice there is a store in Chicago so maybe we will make a visit there next time we are in town! read more
