Never something you want to do, but when something you have to do is made easier it makes a big difference. We had to have one of our dogs put to sleep, fairly suddenly. The vet uses Pet Cremation Services, and they called us a few days later to deliver our girl. Before we've had to go to the vet to pick up the ashes, which I don't mind, but the delivery was a nice touch. The gentleman worked with our schedule, and was pleasant. The box is tasteful, and they also gave us a pawprint and some fur (not sure if that was handled by the vet or the crematory) and a graceful card. A good experience at a hard time. read more

So first impressions is everything! When we pulled up we should have turned around! It's a trailer with the name on the side so no actual building with a gravel parking lot! I was nervous with leaving my baby! Once we walked in wasn't welcomed in no nothing we walked to the counter (clutter with things u can purchase and dusty) and finally a lady walked over to us and asked us if we was picking up. We had a box in our hands as we just left animal hospital of worthington after putting out 1month old kitten to sleep! We said no we just called about cremation for our kitten. The lady asked us if we had the kitten I said yes in the box that the sweet lady's at animal hospital of worthington put him in . She picked up the box and shook it! WTF! my fiancé was pissed and went off I started crying! My fiancé asked her why did she shake the box! She said she was sorry! And proceeded to tell us he isn't a pocket size so it'll be $107! I said ok she filled out the paperwork for us we paid and I asked her for his blanket out of the box that he was laying on she said yes and gave me the blanket. I paid and she said it will be 3-5 business days! There was no compassion or empathy! I usually go to Schoedinger pet department but they didn't answer and I don't want to take him home until the morning! We wanted to go off but we had been through enough today! Let's hope and pray my baby is ok and no other issues arise! read more

They were so compassionate when I lost my Brutus. Very helpful in choosing how to say goodbye and preserve his ashes. They clipped some of his hair and got a paw print for me. I'll miss my Brutus but they were awesome helping me say goodbye and sending him to the Rainbow Bridge. I know they had nothing to do with this side note, but when I was bringing home his ashes, we saw a rainbow in the sky when there had been no rain. I entrusted them with a pet of mine for cremation with a wooden box and name plate. They are correcting the name plate error, which I appreciate. However, they included a paw print of my kitty that looks like absolutely nothing... it's insulting that it wasn't done again or it at least wasn't included so I wouldn't miss that opportunity to have her paw print. Pet Cremation Services is located in Grove City. Don't let that stop you. They offer pick-up and return of your beloved companion. They are very compassionate and polite. We lost one of our fur-babies, Sophie, on Saturday night about 11 p.m. I called the next morning( after checking Yelp, of course) and left a message. One of their employees, Jack, called back within 10 minutes. He said he could pick Sophie up in 30 minutes. He arrived on time and was very polite. He was very sympathetic and he handled Sophie with great care. Not once while he was here did he speak about Sophie without using her name. I got a call Monday morning from Justin asking what time would be convenient for us for him to bring Sophie home. He arrived exactly on time. He was very polite and he also called Sophie by name and expressed sympathy for our loss. I will not hesitate to use them again when it is time for our other babies to cross the rainbow bridge. Our dog passed and they were quick to come and pick him up. They literally had my boxed urn to me the very next day and it has made mourning him (my dog) a little easier because I can go through it all at the same time and not wait weeks for him to be returned.
