Our driver provided an excellent service and will make sure you or your elders don't fall on stairs and arrive at your doorstep safely. I was left scrambling, with only 2 hours left in the business day, to find alternate transportation myself. Less than 48 hours later, the 2nd ride was also cancelled by the company the day before the scheduled ride; this time, I wasn't even called and given a heads up, I just received an email notifying me that I was being refunded. When I called to find out what happened, I was told that the driver called out and so they wouldn't be able to do the ride any longer. My father had to miss his dialysis appointment because the Friday afternoon cancellation left me practically no time to find him alternate arrangements. To say that my experiences with this company are disappointing would be an understatement. Be cautious and have a backup plan if you choose to book their services.

I contacted Cali Van and spoke with Nick. I explained the situation and my needs, as I would need no special equipment. I was informed that this is a common service they provide. This conversation took place on a Monday, and the upcoming Thursday was the day of the procedure. I was also told I just needed to give the company information to the medical staff so they would know who would be picking me up, and they would be able to coordinate the discharge time with their arrival. I used ride share to get to the procedure location. I gave the contact information to the nurse, who told me my transportation would need to be confirmed before the procedure could even begin. I was later informed they were not able to connect with anyone at Cali Van, and the voicemail was full. I then started calling and had the same result; no answer, and the voicemail was full. I'm now starting to panic because I had prepared for the procedure, and I had confirmed with Nick the date and time of my transportation need. Fortunately, I was able to find someone else to pick me up after the procedure. It's been approximately 3 weeks since this happened, and neither Nick nor anyone else from Cali Van has attempted to contact me to acknowledge their failure to be available for my scheduled pickup after a medical procedure. The lack of professionalism from Cali Van was unacceptable, stressful, and inexcusable for a company that is working with people in sensitive medical situations. Who just ignores a confirmed medical transportation appointment pickup? Cali Van Medical Transportation does!

Because of her narrow staircase which has a 90-degree turn to get upstairs to her bedroom, we HAD to have a "stair chair." I called several companies until I found Cali Van. They had the specialized chair and it worked beautifully. The driver sent out, Jasur (sp?), was kind, efficient, considerate, and cared about my mom. Mom (95 yrs old) had a fractured leg and had to be handled very carefully to avoid any unnecessary pain and Jasur treated her with kid gloves. The price was more than reasonable. They were on time (actually early!). With all the stress associated getting Mom home & coordinating all the other services, Cali Van was the ONLY ONE that performed seamlessly and didn't add to my stress level. I tried to try use these people because they had great reviews, and I think they bought the reviews because the service was NOT that... they gave me RACIST Vibes .... Would they have set a white woman on the ground after her $50,000 plastic surgery and Racist Orange County? NO‼I had a surgery on my back that cost me $50,000 and had a nonemergency ambulance pick me up so that I wouldn't have to put any stress on my incisions in this process. I told them they wouldn't be able to go up the stairs with that gurney and they refused to listen to me. Very likely because I'm a BLACK woman... though I told them more than once to get more than one sheet and they refused..... and then when I got too heavy for them because they were not strong enough to do their jobs they sent me on the concrete on my open wound from my four hour surgery before that... not once not twice but THREE times and then when we finally got to the door, he had to sit me down again, and my face was in his sweaty CROTCH because he didn't have the strength to pick me up... I have a witness to all of this.. I have to have a revision on that surgery that will cost me no less than the original surgery so I need financial compensation either. We can resolve this out of court or I can see them in the courtroom‼ I have included photos to show you how my body healed normally on the left side where they didn't sit me on the ground and how differently it healed on the right side after having 20 surgeries I've never had a scar that was keloid and that's what happened because they caused my incision to open, and I have pains their constantly‼ they have to pay for their incompetence and negligence‼ go elsewhere. I told him you will know in three weeks if I'm writing a review or not it took me six weeks to heal so here's the review. They messed up my $50,000 surgery and I must be compensated and reimbursed because I have to go through it again in the story either we settle out of court or we go to court and you can tell my lawyer about it
