With the low rates I must have received a 100 refinance letters in the mail this year and I only called one-Trustlink! Why? Well it was the only letter that reminded me I was paying a couple extra hundred dollars a month on PMI and it stated they could possibly remove that for me. So I called my (then) current lender and they gave me this huge run around on having to write a letter asking for my PMI to be removed and all these hassles I needed to do in order to get it removed. Even though specifically remember the notary telling me that PMI can be removed after a year of current payments but my lender wanted to make it as difficult as possible. So I called Tustlink and right away a live person (Jason Forman) picked up. The conversation flowed, he was more than happy to look into how he could save us some money. Not only did we get superior service but I trusted Jason within the first or second conversation I had with him. Never trusted my first lender to say the least. I myself am very comfortable talking about money, income and finances, but I did find while working in my mortgage career that there are a good number of clients for whom talking about money and home financing is very stressful and intimidating.
