They will not refund for the recital that was wrongly charged for. They will not refund the card they mistakenly charged so the monies can come from me. They will not respond to me or let me know when money will be returned. Such a poorly managed business. I will never recommend a place that takes money from single parents that they are not owed. So I'm left a little over a month before Christmas paying for this recital that I don't have the money to pay for and they won't return the money. It's the right thing to do. I just don't get it. Do I have to beg for this money that you never should have taken? What do I have to do to get you to understand how wrong this is!!??

The leadership of the studio has a clear vision for the organization. Cleveland City Dance serves a mission of making dance available to all sorts of dancers. They go an extra mile to share the benefits of dance not only with the families and dancers at the studio, but beyond. The gym was spacious and very well lite. It was a bit warm. But, there were about 200 people in there. The staff offered treats and a 50\50 raffle. It was great to be able to see and hear about some of the more advanced students. A few suggestions. Air conditioning, maybe a better way to "check" in? Or instead of having people form a line, a ticket booth? It was so packed in the little front lobby. It was hard to breath. The pictures, shirts, roses and sweets may have been better placed some place other then the small front lobby. Its an awesome place to learn gymnastics. They offer many different things. Including mommy and me all the way up to adult. The staff was fantastic with my hyper 5 year old niece.

There is an old-school freight warehouse elevator, and if you haven't been properly trained on how to use it, don't try. Call ahead and tell them you need help with it when you get there. If you come here more than once, its best to learn how to use it directly from them. I'm updating my review to reflect the transition from virtual classes to in-person classes. Cleveland Eclectic Dance is still fantastic! Their studio spaces have high ceilings, large windows, a big open concept and plenty of room to spread out safely. The minute you walk in, the instructor will warmly greet you and make you feel like part of the CED family. The best thing about Cleveland Eclectic Dance is that its a very supportive, loving and fun environment. My small dance class was an eclectic mix of all ages, ethnicities, body types and skill levels (which I loved). The instructor was equally attentive, accepting and welcoming to everyone, especially me as a newbie. I am so incredibly impressed with all of the wonderful women that run this studio! They genuinely care about your experience and want you to have an empowering, fun, and supported time learning new things and loving yourself as you are.

They allow their employees to talk to paying customers any kind of way and be disrespectful towards you. Other parents that know intimately about certain situations even feel that the business is run shadily. The owners along with staff are facinorous and all should take a course on customer service. I asked about a refund regarding a payment that was made and was told to read the contract. I asked if I could receive a copy of the said contract and was not provided 1. I was not included with the original conversations and when the account was created so I did not have access. This proves that they are greedy thieves as they will threaten to call the police and refuse to act as adults when trying to deal with a situation. Jonathan is very contemptuous and doesn't listen to understand he only hears you speaking waiting to have a rebuttal to the conversation. Him and his wife are not on the same page and are saying 2 different things when speaking with them. They constantly talk over you as you are trying to speak with them. His wife has threatened a previous instructor in front of parents and students and the police was involved asking my family questions about the situation so for them to act as if there has not been anything prior and all has been perfect is BS (a FOIA request could be made for the report that was opened). I have asked that they remove any images or likeness of my daughter off of their social media pages with no response but I am sure after this they will have something to say regarding. If she was outed from the school then I don't want her affiliated in any way or for her videos and pictures to be posted with them. I have been nothing but calm and respectful in this whole ordeal even when they were being disrespectful towards me. This is my first and thank god last interaction with this establishment as I could NEVER support a business where I pay good money and they feel they can talk to you and treat you however they see fit. They have threatened legal action for a review being left stating FACTS which the receipts are there for. I'm sure they'll state I was rude and disrespectful BUT I have the entire interaction recorded to have proof as well as having a witness on the phone with me while I had the conversation. Since Ohio is a single party state this is something that is not illegal and I can post if they say anything other than the truth. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! PS- If you want to take legal action against me for speaking up and for this review then do as you see fit. I have the necessary resources and evidence. Threats don't scare me and this is just my experience with you all. Freedom of speech is a great thing as it allows me to say what I want as long as there are no threats made. Super thankful for all of the support from Tri-C and helping me align this degree with my Bachelor of Arts degree (I'm simultaneously working to complete this summer). Thankful my courses will not conflict with courses I'm taking at my home school, Ursuline College! This summer is going to be jam-packed. Crazy how I completing all coursework for two degrees by September!! It's all possible because of the amazing support offered by the truly professional staff at Cuyahoga Community College!!
