Had a buuuunch of laundry & the washer/dryer at my building stopped working the night I decided to tackle it. After taking to Yelp to find the closest Washateria I found myself heading out this morning to try here. The space is clean, they have mandatory mask signs everywhere, & the machines did a great job. Warm washing and efficient drying! Small machines for 2.25, medium for 4.25 & large machines for 5.50 It is a smaller place so if you come at a higher volume time you may have to wait, I came around 10 and was out before noon! Soda/snack/ laundry item vending, seating/folding areas, tv, & WiFi, solid place! Always so nice to have a trusted local laundromat. Thank you! Shall return! read more

I have been coming here for a while and recently I had a problem with reloading my wash card. I contacted them several times to receive my refund and haven't gotten one I'm going to be filing a dispute with my bank since management doesn't want to do my refund. It sucks that I'm dealing with this a month later because the place is nice, it's open basically all day/night, and it's very clean and well kept, but the fact that the refund Policy when the reloader makes a mistake is " just wait", it makes me weary to continue washing clothes here read more

My go to spot for laundry! It is very well kept, machines are a little cheaper than other places I've been and the dryers are HOT! The management is on the premises quite a bit, and are very nice. The place is kept up nicely and there's plenty of seating. Parking can be a challenge with a small lot and people parking behind one another, but so far everyone seems to be really good about moving their cars to let you out if you get blocked. They have snack vending machines with some laundry supplies in them as well if you run out. I also like that they're open later than a lot of places - last wash is at 11pm I believe. Came here yesterday and since there don't seem to be many new reviews I figured I'd leave one. When we arrived the girl working was wiping things down and continued to disinfect areas constantly which was comforting to see amidst the covid-19. Machines come in various sizes and we got everything done in a timely fashion. Will definitely be coming here again, it was clean, bright, and the WiFi was great -some places say free WiFi and it's awful but not this place. I highly recommend this place. read more

Small and quiet in the mornings. 40lb washer is a little on the steep side but then you're done. Dryers are hot and fast. It's family owned so that's a plus and kid friendly. They have a tv that's tuned to PBS right next to two benches that are snack/lunch friendly. Overall good experience. Change machine changes 1,5,10 and 20's!! read more

OK I have my own washer and dryer but I do have a rug that looks a lot like a Wookie. So I had to make the terrifying trip to the laundromat. when I pulled up I was pleasantly surprised by how well lit and clean the parking lot was. I didn't have to wait there are plenty of machines. All of the patrons were extremely nice and more than happy to give me advice on which machines were better than others. When it came time to dry my Wookie rug I threw 50 cents in thinking that would be enough and it turns out dryers are $.75. I inquired about the cost of drying to Latifah (the employee on duty) and see was so sweet, she actually handed me a quarter out of her pocket and said; "dryers start at 75 cents". No I have had the pleasure of living in New York and in Phoenix and not having a washer and dryer and having to deal with laundrymat employees and they have been; how do you say?... less than kind. But this place is amazing. Free wifi, Clean, not crowded, super awesome employees (I love you Latifah). If you're in Houston and you've got dirty clothes you have got to hit this place up because it's definitely worth the trip. read more

My home machine is currently down, so I came here to do some laundry. The place was not amazing, but it was decent. Prices seemed reasonable to me, and I liked that I could do one big load of laundry all at once in a larger machine. Dryers were efficient. My big complaint is that I was expecting it to be a lot cleaner than it was. I read a lot of reviews saying this place was very clean, but I didn't feel that way. I would say the cleanliness was just alright mostly because the cleanliness of the washing machines was iffy in my opinion. The detergent wells for the washing machines were a bit mucky with a lot of old soap stuck on them as if they were never cleaned out. I didn't like that so much as I felt like I was washing my clothes with my own soap AND the remnants of other people's soap. I know it's unused soap, but still -- I don't like the idea of washing my clothes with a random cocktail of old detergent. Would have been five stars from me if the detergent wells looked like they were regularly cleaned out and old soap build-up was removed. read more

I usually go to Haute Wash in River Oaks, but came here because of the location. When I entered people were hard at work getting it cleaned, it smelled fresh, and everyone was polite. The washers are front load and cost $2. The dryers are .25 for 7 minutes. None of the machines are new, but again it was clean and smelled as a laundry should. Maybe it depends on when you go. Very clean not crowded all of the machines work there isn't an attendant here but that's ok I guess just hope you don't lose your money on a machine no one to help. I give it 3 stars because of the cost. 2.25 for double load, 4.25 for triple load and the larger machines are 5.50, .75 to dry for 21 mins that's kinda pricey but oh well my clothes are clean read more

Clean and never crowded. My washer recently went out and while waiting on service I've used this place. Also sometimes use when my roommates take over our washer :) You can wash multiple loads in one, commercial size unit - awesome! read more

I am really happy that I have found a super clean laundromat to wash my clothes. I actually enjoyed my laundry experience here. The place is well-lit, the machines work, there is ample seating, free WiFi and the flat screen TV's are a plus. I will never wash in my dingy apartment complex again. This is a local gem. I have grown up in washaterias most of my life and this has been one of the most well kept facilities. It is clean and well managed. The last couple of months, the owners have upgraded the place with new colored walls, polite signs on 'house rules,' and even high speed WIFI. This is is just a game changer for me as I can do homework while doing my laundry. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to a laundry where the caretaker isn't grumpy and the owners don't scrimp on basic necessities. The dryers rarely work and the washers leak. Worse, your clothes will be stolen if you turn your head too long. Walk, no run the other way from Truxillo Washateria. read more
