I can honestly say it was the worst cleaning I have ever had. The owner came with another woman. They did not bring cleaning supplies, never told me they didn't bring their own. Fortunately I have plenty of cleaning things and they spent less time than any service I have used, they were in and out in less than an hour and a half. They didn't wipe on top of the refrigerator and it was all streaky on the front, they didn't wipe the coffee maker, did not wipe the sliding glass doors, the kitchen floor was left sticky, did not dust the master bedroom, the shower floor still looked dirty and they didn't make the bed. I make the bed every morning. I left it to see how well they would do it. They didn't even attempt to spend 30 seconds making the bed. If I can clean the house better myself, there's a problem. I text to let her know I wasn't satisfied that very basic things weren't cleaned, she responded your house was dirty. Dirty? Lol. My friends make comments all the time about how well kept my house is. They ran the vacuum and left everything else partially done.

I needed a one time cleanup and was referred to South Jersey Maids. I spoke with Jose and wondered if I was too far from them. I explained that I just wanted my bathrooms, bedroom, kitchen, and living room cleaned for a one time job. Jose asked when I would be available for an estimate and he came to my house. I showed him where I kept my vacuum and cleaning supplies and I was told that they use their own. If I had a preference for my cleaning products, they would gladly use them, but they always bring high-quality eco-friendly cleaning supplies. Since I was paying them to clean anyways, I figured let them use their own stuff. Jose gave me a quote and we set up our appointment on the spot. About a half hour before our appointment, Jose called me to let me know they would be there on time. Once they arrived, I went outside to work on my neglected garden. While I was out there, my house was getting a cleaning treatment unlike anything it has had before. I looked over everything that they cleaned and was totally amazed. I actually felt guilty about working outside, because I was going to destroy that immaculate bathroom. There were some counter stains from when I moved in two years ago and now they are gone. I tried so many products and just thought that would be there forever. Even right now, I'm just glancing around at the cleanest this house has ever been. Everyone was friendly, met the quote and the time they said it would take. I'm not going to use them all of the time, but I will gladly ask them back before I host Thanksgiving dinner for the families.

Last month I texted them saying that I have 6 gifted sessions and that was the 5th one. They texted back saying " okay :) ". Now today the day after our cleaning, they sent a text to my fiancee saying they sent him an invoice for the cleaning. Management seems to be a mess. The client should not see the invoice needs to be paid, when it is a gift -even if the invoice was not sent to me, but the gifter. [END EDIT] I was gifted 6 sessions of cleaning and have utilized Martha's Cleaning for the last 6 months as I have them come monthly. The cleaners are very nice and always do a good job. They don't speak English well, but they use a translator app to speak with you. There's been a few times that the cleaning wasn't exactly perfect so I've asked them to go over a certain spot/area, and they're always friendly and happy to do so and will clean what ever you ask them to. I 100% agree with the previous review from Jonathan P - they are never on time. They are consistently 10-30 minutes late, usually more about 10-20 minutes late. However, for someone with a strict schedule - I take that very seriously and it inconveniences me. I plan my entire life and work schedule to the minute. I may leave a prior engagement at a certain time, in order to meet the cleaners. It's extremely disrespectful of my time to be late as that's a waste of me time and I could have stayed at my prior engagements longer. At least 50% of the time, meaning at least 3 of the 6 appointments I've had - they call or text me the day of, asking if we can reschedule for a different time. They are friendly when I say no, and tell me " no problem, we'll be there at your scheduled time" - but I find it extremely unprofessional to ask a client to change their schedule when I book my appointments weeks in advance. Today was my last cleaning of the gifted services. This morning they texted at 10am and asked if the cleaners could come at noon instead of 3. I said no one would be home until 3, they texted back " ok no problem :)". Then I received a call a few hours later asking if the cleaners could come at 5. I was pretty upset and asked him why do I have to change my schedule when I scheduled weeks ago. He then replied " oh it's okay if you can't we're just checking. We can still come at 3". All these encounters really rub me the wrong way and as a client I do not feel my time is respected. We make appointments for a reason, a company should adhere to them and respect their client's schedule and time. All these calls added stress to my life and work day in trying to consider rescheduling with them. Overall, I was happy with the individual cleaners that come through, solid 4/5 stars. Unfortunately my encounters of attempting to reschedule with management has been a 2/5 stars and still makes me extremely upset when I think about it.

The best cleaning service hands down!…read more I had an airbnb incident. My tenant had a party and trashed my place. Holes in walls, stains on carpet, garbage everywhere. I had another booking the following day so I contacted Martha's Cleaning. Within a few hours, my place was brand new again! Martha and her crew were respectful, courteous, and extremely thorough. I am beyond delighted with Martha's Cleaning, and will undoubtedly be a returning customer!
