    Chicken Penang Curry

A wonderful discovery on a business trip to Minot. Located in a strip mall off Broadway, next to Dominos Pizza and caddy-corner from Aces Lounge. The famous Pink Thai Truck is now at a fixed location. Thai Tea, Fried Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Chicken Penang Curry, and Chicken Ginger Curry, followed by Mango Cheesecake and Mango Sticky Rice fully satisfied our party of three. Prices were reasonable for Minot and portions were just right. All in all a new favorite in Minot! Planning to return.

This was my first time ordering from here and it was great. It is a local favorite for Thai and came recommended by multiple people. I ordered take out this time and the food was fresh and packaged excellently. The staff was friendly when I got there too. I ordered the spring rolls, pad Thai, butterfly pea tea, and blueberry cheesecake. All were delicious and so worth the visit!

Try Thai is one of our favorite places to eat in Minot. We have tried many items on their menu and have never been disappointed. We're showing pictures of #4 Cashew Chicken and #8 Basil Chicken. Fabulous service and nice size portions will keep us returning for more great tasting meals. We look forward to the next one.

We normally go to Little Blue Elephant for our Thai food, but they were closed, so we decided it was the perfect time to try Try Thai Food. We had a great experience here! We started off the night right with the most amazing cucumber salad. It was refreshing and flavorful. I would come here again just for that! It's not on the menu, but make sure you ask for it. Oh, and make sure you look at the bottom of the plate for more dressing because it falls off the veggies. (: Our meals all tasted great as well. We all enjoyed our food, and there was the perfect amount on our plates. I ate my own food but tasted bites of all my family members' food. Most of us liked our food, and a few of us loved it! Overall, Try Thai Food is a great place to try if you're in the mood for something different. I'm glad they're in Minot!

Yum yum yum. As someone who came here from a major city, I'm so glad to have found something authentic and flavorful to eat. The first day we tried the Pad Thai with chicken and the Khao Pad with chicken. We asked for a little extra spice and some more on the side. Everything was amazing. We got two of the classic Thai iced teas. Things were so good that we went back the very next day. This will be my go-to stop anytime I'm in town. My favorite place out of all the stops I've tried in Minot!

Food was great, portions were decent; definitely worth a try! Our family did not feel rushed while ordering or eating. If you're thinking about it, do it.

Everything on the menu is amazing. They also have a full bar and will make great cocktails or mocktails! I will say sergice can be a little slow on the dinning side at time. Food comes out quickly, but after that you usually have to flag someone down. Even though I don't live in Minot anymore I make a point of eating here every time I'm in town.

THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD 15% TIP TO YOUR TAB IF YOU HAVE A PARTY OF 6 OR MORE…read more 11/6/25. Food was alright compared to real Asian restaurants. Service was terrible. I had to send my water glass back because the outside was smudged with stuck food. I checked my girlfriend's glass and it was smudged too and said she didn't do that. She said damn so my glass is contaminated and she didn't drink from it from them on. As we got our tabs, someone from the group noticed the gratuity charge so I asked about it. I spoke to the manager stating that we hadn't paid yet and didn't add that. He said it's automatic. I told him we only chose 5 items on the menu, gratuity wasn't on the menu, we didn't choose that. He said for a party of 6 or more it's automatic because some parties leave without tipping the server. I said we had separate tabs, 3 different total, our tab was three people. And he said it doesn't matter you were at the same table. I said we don't want to tip, we weren't going to tip anyway. My water glass was dirty and I had to send it back and the server will tell you that. Someone from our table wanted to order a soup and I gave them mine because the server never showed back up. Our food came out when a few people were halfway done and the restaurant was DEAD. He says but servers only make $10 an hour and it's not fair. I agree it's low but the tip is my choice take it off... he kept saying "but how much are you going to tip the server". I told him I've never seen that charge in any restaurant. He says "every restaurant does it, even Longhorns (as if it makes it any better)" and "we been doing this a long time". He wouldn't agree to take it off and time was dragging on so we left. Ending thoughts: it's like adding a portion of the electricity bill and saying "but we have to keep the restaurant running". Their wage has nothing to do with our tip. You shouldn't push a tip on us without our consent. No hospitality. They had a salad bar and someone mentioned it was all you can eat. That's something he could've said "btw we have a salad bar please help yourselves". He didn't even ask how our food was! He took the order, dropped food off then dropped off tab. Gratuity is for the service the server gives. It's voluntary. It's not a decision for the restaurant to make for you. They should pay them more if that's the case and TRAIN THEM BETTER. I even stacked our plates neatly when we were done as I was a server before. They assume every big party is messy and will tax you for it with 15% tip. Also, nice fake 5 star reviews

Unfortunately,…read moreafter my experience this past Saturday, I'm honestly questioning whether I'll ever go back. I ordered the new Dipper sandwich with cheddar broccoli soup, and my mother-in-law also had the soup with a different sandwich. Panera was literally the only food I ate that entire day because I had a 2-hour drive home and was looking forward to finally sitting down and having a good meal. Instead, shortly after leaving, I started feeling extremely sick. By the time I got home, I was vomiting, and I continued throwing up throughout the entire night and into Sunday morning. I ended up with what appeared to be food poisoning, and it completely ruined my weekend. It's incredibly frustrating to drive TWO HOURS for food that I've always loved, only to end up spending the rest of the night violently sick. I understand that things can happen, but this was an absolutely miserable experience and definitely makes me think twice about ever making that drive again. I really hope Panera takes food safety seriously, because getting sick like this after spending that much money and traveling that far is completely unacceptable.
