When I checked in, I had to wait a little bit which was fine because I was early, so I sat in the lobby having a cappuccino. I was so tired from coming in from Los Angeles so grateful I only had to wait about an hour. The room is nice and spacious for a hotel in Europe and so is the bathroom, so normal to me, which was excellent! The people here are so nice! Customer service is just amazing! I ate breakfast once, so many choices, it was amazing, I am just not a breakfast person, but I had to try it once. I also had dinner at the restaurant once. I believe it was on the third floor, maybe second. OMG. I wanted to get the same meal every night, but I controlled myself. The meat just came right off the bone. I don't remember what it was called but they cook it for more than 24 hours and there is a picture attached. Short rib possibly? Anyway, it was delicious. I also went to the rooftop one night for dinner and drinks once. It is beautiful up there. The smoking area door kept opening and blowing smoke on me, which was annoying. The food was OK up there. It's more about the cocktails and the view. View is good. Ok. Interesting. At the end, there were some charges on my room that were not mine so double check your folio when you leave. That's not on them. That's on some sneaky person. They were also very helpful when I could not find an Uber so I made sure to get a taxi through them for the airport the next day. I wish I had gotten more pictures of the room. It was gorgeous! I would definitely stay here again!

Welcoming lobby, nice size room, views of the Gran Via, clean, and fairly priced. Nice rooftop bar too. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water in the shower, and well-appointed room, with a small balcony that was a nice touch. But, the best thing about staying here is the people that work here -- who were all very friendly, made us feel welcome, and were eager to please. Always greeted with a smile. Genuine kindness. Really! Special shout out to Diana (see photo) who was delightfully helpful, with excellent restaurant recommendations and a winning personality. And, another special shout out to Alexander (see photo) who was a welcoming fellow, that was totally engaging, and helpful. But, again, the entire staff was fabulous and I regret I have forgotten some names ... We love Madrid and will be back ...

It's very convenient to go for a morning/afternoon walk/run. And some of the rooms have a nice view of the park. It's a walking distance from many museums, restaurants, and shopping options. There's a nice breakfast buffet offered at extra cost. The rooms and clean, modern and spacious and room service is done on a daily basis. The hotel is generally quiet and relaxing. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. One area of improvement is including a gym in the building.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is situated very centrally to many sights, gardens, restaurants and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would use this hotel again. Bitter sweet as it's the end of our adventure, but a fantastic city and a fantastic hotel.

Okay minus one for the extremely slow moving elevators but the room was really nice, service was excellent, and the breakfast was chefs kiss! The room was decked out in a beautiful gold with a sofa, table, and spacious bed. Amenities included WiFi, complimentary shoe cleaning, and glass bottles of water daily. The outside view was nice (top of the palace or something), bathroom was spacious with complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion. There is a coffee machine in the room as well as a small fridge with drinks and snacks priced per item. They had 2 robes in the room, velvet clothing hangers, and the softest room slippers. They have an awesome breakfast buffet, which cost 45 euros each day or about 30 euros if you pay for all days of your stay. The breakfast although stayed the same every day, were all healthy and fresh ingredients from creamy scrambled eggs, thinly sliced jamon and Manchego cheese, to fresh fruits, fresh juices, buttery croissants, fresh honey comb, pancakes, churros, and make your own omelet station. Also right across the street is the famous Prado Museum and The Cooking Clubhouse cooking class. Their service was excellent helping me load-in and load-out my luggage and there's even an indoor lounge and bar. Would come back 10/10, Salud!! :))

We had originally booked our stay in Madrid at another hotel. We spent one night there. It didn't…read morework out (plumbing issues). We had to move a group of 14. My mom had stayed a few months at the Hotel Villa Real in 2022 when she did some work with the Real Academia Española. It was walking distance from our hotel. Fortunately, they weee able to accommodate all of us. We loved it here. Great stay. It was on the pricier side, but worth it. Staff were excellent. The door man noticed my son carrying a Captain Tsubasa stuffed doll. Having grown up watching the series, he and my kid became BFF. The lobby offers complementary water and candy. Mini bar was also complementary and is refilled every day. Breakfast buffet not included. Location is centric. Across the street is the Parliament building. Less than 20 minutes away on foot are the Prado Museum, Parque del Retiro, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza Mayor. There are also other smaller plazas nearby, as well as several restaurants, bars, and shops.
