Wow! This is such an amazing hotel. From the staff, to the room, to the overall atmosphere-it is…read morejust amazing. This was my second time staying at NH Las Tablas and it will not be my last. I came here for an event and the breakfast is an amazing spread. They have a variety of cheeses, fruit, yogurts, meats, breads, sweets, and eggs available. If you are on any kind of diet or have an allergy you will be able to find something to eat or the staff can prepare something for you. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Today the woman thought that I told her my room number was 150 (instead of 105) and she informed me breakfast was not included in my room. I went and spoke to the front desk staff and they cleared it up right away and the woman apologized to me. She was so nice and understanding about everything and so was I. The lunch and dinner are no different. The lunch has a variety of meats, cheeses, salads, breads, pastries, sweets, paella, coffee, juice, and of course wine! Every table has a bottle of this amazing red wine that is a good balance of cherry and blackberries and is not too dry. It goes so well with both the lunch and dinner options. At dinner the first time I stayed the restaurant was open and so my friends and I were able to receive as much wine as we wanted and an amazing meal. We started with these savory grilled vegetables of onion, mushroom, and a variety of peppers. They were just the right amount of salt and I just wanted to keep eating them! Then for dinner we had this lightly seasoned chicken and fries. Now to the room--just beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom is modernly decorated with this large and beautiful tub. I recommend asking for additional shampoo or shower gel and soaking in the tub with a class of wine. The entire hotel has wi-fi, so you will be able to relax to music on your phone or computer. The beds are a nice balance of soft and hard, so you wake up extremely refreshed and ready for the next day. The television has tons of channels in English and Spanish, so you can relax all morning long. I love that check out is not until 12pm and there is no rush for you to leave. The front desk staff are very flexible and overall just so nice and are happy to have you stay with them. Around the hotel there are a few restaurants, grocery stores, and this huge shopping center with a hipercor and el corte ingles. There are not many "touristy" things to do in the area, but if you want to get away from the touristy areas this is a nice and quiet place to stay and relax. I highly recommend NH Las Tablas for your stay in Madrid.

Breakfast can be included in your stay for €14, €16 if you don't pre-book it at the time of check in. Parking is underground and €14.50. We haven't tried the in hotel bar or restaurant yet, so I can't comment. I am pleased at what I received for the price I paid. I went to the bar/cafeteria/buffet and there was a tv crew in there holding an interview. I was not allowed to go in or to order they said they could set up food for us in the main lobby. There is that choice or get room service and pay more for the same room. I am less than impressed now

For a airport hotel this was okay. We only spent 1 night here but here are the details…read more Standard hotel that has gone through renovation recently (according to some of the other posts). Airport is 5 minutes away and there is a shuttle that will take you there. A schedule is posted at check in that includes shuttle schedule from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. There is a slot of times that is bolded and according to the staff member those are the bigger shuttles. You need to book the time and let them know if you want to be on one of those shuttles. Rooms are spacious and clean. Interesting design in that there was a second door just after the main room door. So you enter your room, the bathroom is just to the right or left and then there is a second door that enters the sleeping area. Bathroom had a sink area, shower, toilet and bidet. All soap is in refillable pump bottles but it was a good selection. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion. Bar fridge contains small selection of chargeable drinks and there is also snacks on the table. No coffee maker, just a kettle that you can use to make Nescafé, which is provided. Our room had 2 singles pushed together to make a larger bed but was made up as 2 beds. Sleep was good, pillows (you get 3) are on the softer side. Again , standard hotel, nothing spectacular or memorable.

Minibar snacks are all over the desk. I'd like to use the desk as a desk without junk food staring at me. 4. No electrical kettle in room. Water available in lobby only when people are checking in.

I did the math and the 20 euro cell phone call was the same as the 20 euro taxi ride across the street. Long story why I didnt walk. I get there and check in...kinda reminds me of Psycho....strip club across the street. I go up the sole elevator to my room. Open the door. AND SHRIEK IN HORROR! I stood there afraid to take off my shoes for the first 15 minutes staring at the likely semen stained bed spreads. I went across the street (not to strip club) to buy a pack of cigarettes and chain smoke until I relaxed. I got on Facebook, complained a lot to my friends and decided to make the best of it. I went back upstairs and threw the nasty quilt on the floor and took a shower. Note; the place is a shit hole but the shower heads have these disco ball light changing things in them, really strange and the money your disco shower costs could have gone to a maid service. I rolled down the sheets and found only 2 hairs, neither pubic and tried to turn on the television. I had only a few hours to sleep and the remote control had semen on it (literally) so it all worked out in the end. The matress fell off the bed at one point, which by then, I was laughing about everything. I itched all night, but I m fairly certian it was psychosematic. Anyways, it s loud. Really loud and scary and kinda resembles that crack motel Tom Hanks stays in when he first becomes a grown up in BIG. Chalk it up to experience.

Despite what the the website and telephone answering service say, they do not provide shuttle services either to or from the Madrid airport. You'll have to get a taxi or rideshare from the airport (it actually seems to be cheaper to take Uber). The front desk can arrange a taxi for pickup when you're leaving, but you'll find that Ubers are plentiful around the area. Check in and check out are easy. Staff are professional and courteous but the rooms themselves exceeded expectations. Everything was spotless and though the themed rooms are a little kitschy, the overall design is sleek and well stocked with toiletries and storage space. Beds were comfy and our family suite's bathroom was enormous. There's a small suburban shopping area not too far away but didn't get to take advantage as we arrived late at night.

This is not the Ritz... if that is what you require look elsewhere rather than being a jerk on Yelp. Pros: ======= -Staff was friendly and accommodating. -The room was clean, well supplied, and of a comfortable size. (Not big, but not uncomfortably small.) -The food at the restaurant downstairs was wonderful. I am not a food snob by any means, but the selections were tasty, and fresh. (Here the staff was especially wonderful. -The blackout curtains were great. -I heard a jet ONCE and it was a low hum. Cons: ====== -The temperature in shower was unstable day and night. It would go from hot to searing to tepid on a dime. Would stay here again for sure.
