He knew that my home has ancient electrical fuse boxes, but proceeded to diagnose the problem immediately. He worked quickly and efficiently, and told me what the problem was - I'd overloaded a fuse; he very clearly explained what I needed to do to solve the problem for now. Joe did explain the difficulties of rewiring an old home, and the probable cost of all that work. He even suggested that I contact the Illuminating Company, for a much lower cost.
